He went on season long loans to Ipswich and Rotherham, which is the two clubs FIFA will allow. However, Derby are saying he is eligible to play for us this season.

Does that mean there's been another cock-up and Sammon was actually signed on a 93 day emergency loan, which would have expired today (Saturday).

It is our view that true sports fans want to see competitions settled on the pitch and not to have them affected by what happens in disciplinary proceedings. We await the reasoned judgement of the FDC and once we have received it we will issue our appeal after discussion with Jim Sturman QC. In the meantime we are confident that our team possesses the will and spirit to ensure that the points deduction is academic by securing our Championship status on the pitch. It would not be appropriate to make any further comment on this matter until after the appeal process has been concluded.”

I thought the FL was trying their good old trick of waiting until said side was mathematically 4 points clear and THEN deduct 3 points.

Rotherham will know it was coming but if Evans is smart he'll try and use that to generate an 'everyone against us' mentality for their final games.
