Last night was fantastic for Rugby, it is unbelievable how committed that England 15 were and subs.

Watson and Joseph looked like veterans of the game. Your right though Bish, the game seemed to pass by Mr Ford. I love him though and he has far more to give. He got stuck in and the experience of the game will really help him progress, Farrell should be straight back in though.

Whoever said about Billy Twelvetrees were so correct, he was all over the pitch for that final ten minutes. He must have made over 15 tackles in the space of 2 minutes it seemed.

Are England going to peak in a World Cup year again?

This Ireland game has been a struggle to watch, Italy are so physical but don't offer much in the way of entertainment. Ireland have knocked the ball on a few times deep in Italian territory, but finally have a pair of tries with the man advantage. Not an impressive performance, time enough to pad the scoreline though. Relief at this point of the game more than anything, it's been a real slogfest, they will need to play with much more fluidity against the French next week.

I'd have England as slight favourites for the tournament already. Come on Scotland, don't be shite against France for once.

That's some world class straw clutching right there ;)
Heh, all joking aside, that's quite a big turnaround from last year for the youngsters, while half the England woman's team have retired I think (?) since their world cup win.

Anyway, looking ahead, Gatland is in place at least till the world cup, and has earned us a fair amount of success...no point slating him now is there? Our last game was only our second ever win over the Springboks. I expect the side to respond up at Murrayfield, which won't be easy, when you consider that Scotland are improving, are overdue a win over us, and will need to recover some respect after last year's one sided tonking.

The Scots looked fairly good. I'd be worried if I was the Welsh. They'll win but not convincingly.

I fancy the Scots to cause an upset this year and out of the 3 possible games, Wales look like the team there for the taking at Murrayfield. Although I'd prefer it was Ireland obviously.

Pressure on England a little bit tomorrow to get a big score against Italy to help out their point difference.

Haimona has been absolutely terrible. Decent performance overall, just need the backs to keep producing and complementing the forwards' dominance.

Not impressed with us conceding three tries at home to Italy.

Who should we want to win this one?

France. Got more chance of beating them than Ireland imo. Not gonna happen though, France look hopeless, not asked many questions of the Ireland defence. Then again, Ireland haven't looked owt special but they've got a habit of being ruthlessly efficient.

Lopez's two late misses were costly there, hits both of them and they're just playing for 3 points in Ireland's half rather than forcing a try. I felt they deserved to win in the end but took too long to get going ultimately. England/Ireland should be a cracker.

I do yeah, felt they were going to around the time of Best's yellow as well but Ireland held on. They just needed to give a bit more for the first 60 minutes but they looked the more capable team from 1-15 especially after they switched the front row around. As I said though, Ireland are annoyingly efficient and France are annoyingly underachieving.

Scotland have screwed themselves here, should have been going in at half-time ahead

Scotland leaving far too many points on the field, just as they did last week. It's ridiculous the number of penalties they have given away, they look like the better team. Great game to watch.

I like Jonathan Davies, but yeah, he's been a bit biased.

Unbelievable defence from Wales, can't believe Scotland haven't scored again, they are awful at the try line.

Wales have dominated this half, deserve the victory. Finn Russell has had a mare.

Good effort by the Jocks, just not enough in the key moments to pick up the points they should have.

Scotland threw the chance of the game away really, a better side would have made the openings count. Wales lucky, not a hope of winning this year's tournament in this form. Agreed with motormouth Davies on the MOTM though, Alun Wyn Jones is just immense every time he puts the red shirt on. He will take some replacing when he retires.

Better than what we used to be a couple of years back, at least Scotland is scoring now but they are still missing chances and are being leaky at the back and there is no room in the Five Nations for mistakes, you will get punished.

Finn Russell suspended 2 weeks for his tackle on Biggar...absolute madness. What an awful decision, he clearly misjudged it and then attempted to pull out of the tackle. High ball rules are idiotic currently.

That's bollocks. I've seen much worse than that go unpunished retrospectively. The bloke clearly misjudged it, everyone knew it wasn't intentional. Absolute bollocks decision.
