If he weren't being so successful on the wing wouldn't mind Daly playing FB

He's not England's best option on the left when Watson is back though so Jones has a decision to make as to whether he shifts him to 13 (likely given Joseph's dropping) or 15. Seems a no brainer as Joseph is a better outside centre than Brown is a full-back but there we go.

Fantastic opening 15 minutes to this Wales v Ireland game. Some of the tackling has been ferocious.

Wales playing a lot flatter with the ball in hand. High risk and it has almost cost them a couple of times with interceptions but I like it a lot more than their usual predictable fare.

North might have answered a few crictics with that try.

Really enjoyed that half. Don't recall seeing it again on the replay but on Wales try it looked like a forward pass coming off the lineout to me in real time anyway.

I doubt we see Conor Murray second half, he was really struggling with that knock he had at the end. England will be watching that with interest.

I thought that initially and just seen the replay right in line, it's damn close, just may be flat enough. Harsh yellow for Sexton too.

he got completely outshone by Warburton tonight. 6) Stander 8) Billy 7) Warburton is probably the back row on merit currently.

I'd still rather Tipuric over Warburton

the amount of tackles Italy have missed in this game is disgusting - time to start making them qualify for this every year imo, have them play Georgia for their spot.

Definitely seems to be the pattern with Italy they will compete for the first half before folding completely. Doesn't show any signs of changing which should be most concerning for them.

Just hope England can get a better start in this game than they've had in all the other games so far. Do that and I think England will win by about 10 points.

That tackle on Daly looks really bad on the replay. Quite rightly yellow carded.

Awful start, Fraser Brown instantly puts his team on the back foot in their biggest match in almost two decades. Idiot. Looks like a great Six Nations might end with a whimper. The final week of the championship meaning nothing for the second year in a row unless Scotland can fight back.

Brilliant from Joseph, finally come to life in this tournament. Excellent from England, getting over the gain-line at will and the linespeed on defence has been incredible.

Scotland on the other hand literally nothing gone right, very sad they've lost Hogg for the game after failing concussion test. Feels like a damage limitation game for Scotland now.

It was always going to be a big ask beating England who are in frightening form, bit after losing a couple of key players, the task was made even harder. Dunno when the world cup is, but Jones has turned them into serious prospects worryingly.

Sin bin for a nothing tackle ruined the game before it even got going.

Yeah this Scotland team being outclassed in every facet of the game clearly would've competed and made a game of it if they'd had their hooker on the field for 10 minutes...

(it was also a deserved yellow)

I think the only discussion point on it was what colour card it should have been, personally I think the referee got it right with the yellow.

Almost everything perfect for England. One thing to note with Mike Brown - 7 carries and not made one single pass. It's really quite incredible.

No one said they would have...

England have shown up today and Scotland have been abject. Given England's performances before today in this tournament, Scotland should have fancied their chances, they were average/poor against France, Wales and Italy. Starting the game with 14 men pretty much killed any chance or belief Scotland might have had.

It should have been a red.

The Scots were feeling quite bullish before kick off...

England soon put paid to that.

Powerful clinical performance!

Clinical performance indeed!

Yellow card aside, and as much as you can berate Scotland, that was a pretty ruthless performance from England, especially defensively. No matter the effort Scotland put in, they had 2 yards of space at most today, they came across England at their best. It was men against boys, sorry for the cliche

Scotland have not been great by any stretch but there really are no words for how bad Italy are.

If nothing else Italy need to find themselves a reliable goal kicker as Canna has been nothing short of pathetic on two attempts which are simple at this level.

Finally, this France v Wales game is over. Absolutely ridiculous ending. To be honest Barnes should have awarded a penalty try about 10 minutes into injury time.

Not sure about this new rule the RFU have introduced where you're not allowed to tackle Jonny Sexton.

Surely you lose the tough man label when the trainer comes on every time you get hit too.
