Hardly surprising given their form over the last few months. He seemed to have steadied the ship, but things have gone badly downhill for them lately. So, who will they turn to now? They are in freefall and could easily get sucked into a relegation battle, if they aren't already. So who comes in now?

Trolling aside, Paul Hurst was here for 6 and 1/2 years? But he’s Fenty’s only good appointment in his whole time at the club. Our last 3 managers have had 6-month rolling contracts. Unless the Trust is properly consulted, along with club staff, Fenty will yet again make the wrong appointment. Nothing will change until he goes.

No one knows. A lot of people have excepted the 6-month thing but it doesn’t sit with me. It was never specified until now and for what other reason could there be to let things get this bad? My thinking is that something like 2 years is a possibility and Fenty has agreed to pay him off a year of it.

The board have come out and said Slade was also on a 6 month rolling contract giving them the flexibility to sack him.
Which begs the question why didn't they do it earlier?
