I think Dodgy Ronnie Moore is past it to be honest. He'll get a nose-bleed going that far south too.

A great appointment in my opinion he is one hell of an impact manager he will get them winning pretty quickly look at hartlepool and rotherham.... Advocates of pure football will be dissippointed however football was so poor at oldham they sacked him due to reduced season ticket sales.

Never thought i would say this after last year but i hope eastleigh do well under him

Fookin' 'ell, he'll probably beat us to the title/last play-off place or something like that knowing Ronnie.

Ronnie Moore is statistically a very good manager. Don't think the "hoof ball" tag is fair either, with some of the budgets he's had to operate under. Be interesting to see how Ronnie does at Eastleigh with a top non league budget and the quality squad of players now at his disposal. One thing I'm certain of is that Eastleigh will improve on last seasons finish.

He was pretty useless for us last season and we'd no doubt be meeting Eastleigh in this league now if we hadn't sacked him. He's a dinosaur and as pointed out, purely a shout at the lads, send 'em on an army camp impact manager. Not a bad bloke though and definitely cares, but has no ideas how to change it around when not going to plan.

Can't see this working out which suits me as there's no way I'd want that kind of a tinpot, bankrolled speck of diarrhea club like that in the football league.

That sort of post fits in well down here, don't run away too soon!

The only vision I have of Eastleigh is akin to the giant skidmark I obtained in my white boxers when I first heard the news break on Twitter.

Had he not been pretty good the season before you might be down here already!
Some strange anti-Moore comments on here, what's he done to upset Aldershot fans so?

I have some doubt about this appointment as he's well outside his geographical comfort zone and aand a long time since he managed at this level. Tactically, Moore sides are not just about hoof-ball, though agree that he has trouble with a plan B, when things aren't going well. It will be interesting, particularly as he hasn't previously had much money to play with. If he lasts the season, would expect The Vision to reach the play-offs at least.

True but there's only so far you get absolutely slating the players in the press, naming names week in and out before destroying their confidence in the long run. That's what happened here and last season we were even worse than we were the season Moore came in halfway and saved us. He's had his day but very glad he's gone. Craig Hignett is like Jurgen Klopp compared to him.

Yip "The Vision" is pretty much as described above. Shouldnt every club have the same Vision as that. Or do you all want to be clubs on downward spirals and dwindling fan bases?

The only point that is incorrect in your post is, that wining the title does not guarantee the manager future employment.
Richard Hill is still out of work almost a year after leaving the club by mutual consent.

When your clubs average attendance hasn't even hit an average of 2 thousand at the highest point in your clubs history I'm not sure you can start flinging muck about attendances.

As for Moore, good appointment. A decent manager when judged on results. Surprised he's gone so far south but working with that budget is going to be attractive.

How you have forgotten those bellend scousers that triggered a round of applause for the old boy who had died when we visited your place.

I seem to remember your chairman writing a letter to complement us

And there was me thinking you lot weren't scousers. Thought you lot came from The Wirral not Liverpool? And it was a joke, if not a very good one.

Think that's a bit early. Surely they forecast another season of struggle?

For me it was just Eastleigh and the Rotherham bit. Nothing against Tranmere.

Tho in a way the Vision going up might be a good thing. Esp if the banker goes to his beloved Oxford. POP!

Much prefer them not to and the backer going anyway tho. :fing::£
