I'm hoping that the dark grey clouds gathering over Hartlepool and Chester will start developing Silver linings.
Will the long journey up to Barrow take the steam out of Sutton. Tough game for Aldershot at Brisbane road. Surely Macclesfield won't drop any points at home to Torquay. Will Woking employ the running around after the ref all game tactics to stop Fylde from scoring a cricket score.
Tranmere's defence will have to be a lot better than it was last saturday if they are going to take anything away from the Race Course!

''Surely Macclesfield won't drop any points at home to Torquay'' ... of course they will, we're all but doomed to relegation, have a shit team, shit management duo and players that haven't a clue where the fucking goal is. So, put your mortgage on Torquay winning this one.

And tonight's winning Euromillions lottery numbers are....

The Racecourse will be rocking tomorrow with 8k attendance predicted. Can’t wait, a proper game with more than the usual 17 away fans there. It’ll feel like the good old Division 2 days of the 90’s.

It’s incredible the attendance figures they’re touting for the Wrexham Tranmere game. Massive respect to both sets of fans. Personally I think it’ll be a narrow away victory. I can’t make our game tomorrow which I’m pissed off about but I have to work. Woking are in a bad run of form but anything can happen in this league.

Banker of the day Sutton to beat Barrow at even money

No pubs allowing Tranmere fans in tomorrow in Wrexham. Fantastic. When Wrexham come here they’re invited into the fan tent, free to walk in any pub they want, we’re hoarded straight into the ground.

If there is one thing Wrexham is not short of it's pubs! I'm sure you'll be able to find somewhere.

Every single Tranmere fan is followed like a criminal. You needed to get police permission just to use the train station toilets last season. Utter joke.

Away fans are lucky the police who do Tranmere games handle 55,000 every week at Anfield.

Always found Wrexham one of the least welcoming clubs/sets of fans for away supporters. I mean, it’s fun to go into intimidating atmospheres like Leeds or Hull, but the needle towards away fans rarely strays into actual unpleasantness like it does at the Racecourse. Going by my trips to Swansea and Cardiff, I think it might just be a Welsh thing.

Tranmere, conversely, is always a great visit.

I'm surprised at that. North Wales Police in their Robocop gear can be unwelcoming for large away contingents, that is true, but those games are quite few and far between. I rarely see any trouble at Wrexham games and home and away fans typically mingle well.

Perhaps I’ve been unlucky to run into the dickhead element of your support on both visits, but the police presence and stewarding was always ridiculously heavy-handed. Been on the ‘get in, watch the match, get out’ list along with Luton, Scunthorpe and other such shite away days.

I'd happily take a loss tomorrow in exchange for a win next Saturday, Wembley is in sight now and in the unlikely event we go down (though that concern is growing) it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Which pubs are saying no Tranmere fans? I imagine the Turf is a no go anyway as it's always rammed on a normal matchday nevermind this one. There's still loads of places you'll be able to go, you could walk into bottom end of town and you'll get in nearly everywhere so long as there's not hundreds of you chanting like bellends. Most convenient will probably be the Plas Coch, plus you can leave your car there.

Whilst we've definitely improved under Justin Edinburgh, I can't see us getting anything out of Aldershot - some very impressive signings made by the Shots in the window too, McDonnell on a permanent deal is fantastic business at this level.

Still, they'll have to work to score, Orient have only conceded one goal in the last 5 league games - and we were down to 10 men for that. Then again, we don't score many at the moment either - scoring only 4 in that same period, and not having scored for 270 league minutes.

Aldershot's away form is intimidating, 3W 2D from the last 5, and they look set to bring around 1,000, who will make plenty of noise I'm sure.

A slim 0-1 away win on the cards I think.

I would just quickly like to mention Orient's recent and upcoming fixture list, which sees us play pretty much every top 10 team in the division:
9th Dec - Sutton.
23rd Dec - Maidstone (who were 10th at this point).
26th Dec - Daggers.
30th Dec - Bromley.
1st Jan - Daggers again.
6th Jan - boring wood.
27th Jan - Aldershot.
(30th Jan - Halifax, literally the only non top-10 game, which is away up north on a cold Tuesday night).
3rd Feb - Dover (Trophy).
10th Feb - Tranmere.
17th Feb - Fylde.

The fixture list all works out over the season, but of the 10 league games above, 9 are/were vs top 10 sides - particularly annoying as we're playing much better now than before.

Very much looking forward to March and the likes of Guiseley and Barrow.

Scared. Excited. Nervous.
Excited and nervous sure. Never been scared about a football game.

First 10 minutes will set the tone. Let’s hope neither side has a controversial decision to point to.

Also a marker for us to see if we have really discovered last seasons form. Despite our away record being poor this season it has been reasonable against the better sides.

There's 15 games left after this one, it'll be a great occasion but nothing is getting decided either way. If this was a match with 3 or 4 games to go then I would be absolutely caking it.

After a fortnight off, I've almost forgotten how shit we've been lately, so quite optimistic about our game with Sutton. That usually means we get beaten.

We've got a few new players in, but not really cleared out the dead wood yet. A draw would do, but need a home win soon.

Thank fuck the national league random fixture generator didn't come up with that one. Say no to Shatner's Bassoon stimulation man. The last thing I want to see down the racecourse is someone puking up their own pelvis bone. It's just a game.

As much as we've picked up under Edinburgh I can't see us getting anywhere tomorrow, Aldershot are on a good run and along with Macclesfield were one of the best sides I've watched this season, impressed with their style of play. When we drew 2-2 back in September, they did run out of steam in the second half which meant we escaped with a lucky draw.

I'd expect us to sit back and soak up the pressure like we did against Dagenham and Sutton.

We have a few winnable games coming up in 4 weeks, our next two home games aren't one of those though.

We have never beaten Dover, iirc our best result at Crabble was a 1-1.
Oh well at least we have two easy games after that in Wrexham and Macclesfield :ffs:

Nah, this is it. Winners of this will win the league. If we draw, the league is Fylde's.

It feels like North Wales police are trying to make the game as miserable an experience as possible for travelling fans, which is disappointing. Unsure what Rovers side will turn up, the one's who won comfortably at Sutton or those who got thrashed at Fylde. Thinking a close game, but with Wrecsam edging it.

I feel tomorrow is going to be hard to enjoy, don't think our pitch has recovered much in the last two weeks which is worrying. Will get a better chance to judge what Blissett might provide.

Pretty sure you've misinterpreted the message. There are no 'designated away pubs' as in somewhere earmarked for Tranny fans to head towards, but it doesn't say you're banned from going into any pub at all. I was drinking freely with a big group of your fans in the Saith Seren last year and I'm certain you'll be welcomed anywhere you go.

Designated away pubs are always a bad idea anyway. Why herd 100s fans to one location rather than let them spread across a few dozen pubs where there is less likely to be trouble.

Hope you get a friendly beer tomorrow but don't enjoy the game too much!

0-0 for 80 minutes. Ben Tollitt to be subbed on and score 4 goals.
