As I understand there will now be a two-hour documentary covering every game Salford play in League Two, the Salford v Stevenage one should be out this week.

Sadly their few fans who do turn up are often nasty pieces of work.
Last year they scrapped a draw at home to Braintree thanks to a late equaliser and their fans barricaded the Braintree supporters coach and started a fight.
The class of 92 piece offers a great angle for the media but in reality they are funded by billionaire Lim, who makes most of his money from deforestation to produce palm oil, it's a grim club all round - especially when you see Bury struggling so much bearing in mind Neville's Dad (Neville Neville) was a famous Bury player and they have a stand named after him.

I utterly despise them.

I'll shout loudly. HELLO are there any Salford fans here ?
What the fuck is going on with your club off the pitch. We have still not received notification of our ticket allocation for NEXT Saturday which we will sell out.
According to Port Vale we have been asking and asking and nothing forthcoming.
Absolute shambolic.

What is the likelihood Sky Sports and the EFL are all over this story? Zilch?

Exactly. We are hoping with fingers crossed to maybe get the same as Leeds ( 1400 ) but to have no information on anything 10 days before the game is staggering.
They seem unable to communicate in a proper manner and you can tell from the tone of tweets that officials at Vale are pretty pissed off .
If I don't get one I'll drive up in the week and buy one for the home end.
That's assuming they decide to sell any before next Saturday !!

Strange one, don’t seem to have planned for the EFL at all, we should sell out as you say but little time to get them sold in advance so could be chaos if pay on the day and more turn up that space!

I'm sure all 1,400 of you will enjoy the combined total of 4 single portaloos behind the away end to share amoungst you if any of you get caught short and the complete lack of any facilities. They were not prepared for the increased crowds in the Conference let alone L2.

Thought that grounds had to be inspected prior to promotion to the Football League?

They are the new Rushden and diamonds.
When the investors get bored because they realise that the fan base will not grow beyond its current level, then they will fold like a pack of cards.
There is a chance for small clubs to progress through the leagues but thees shithouses are doing it the morally bankrupt way.
There is no away ticket allocation or announcement yet as they have not managed to find a school leaver with a pencil case to draw all the tickets out for you.

Seems a right ball ache to go to Salford, nearest station 3 miles away, tram stop 30 minutes walk, bus is an option but takes a while and crap parking locally.

It’s not easy, been a few times with Curzon.

I went by train to Salford crescent and walked it is about a 30 min walk.

It’s similar if you tram, although tram better if you don’t know manc well.

I’d probably look at maybe the 135 bus to bury, the 96/97 buses to bury do stop 2-3 mins walk from ground and are regular but may be busy.

The 135 bus is every 7-10 mins and is only a 15 min walk plus should dodge football traffic.

You’d have to check google map for details of stops.

Vanity project and sky have been sickly with it.

I've no beef with GNev having a project but surely he must know that this sack of shit will max out in league one at best.

I think they can make the Championship like Burton did but once they get there they'll go no further and end up straight back down. That's when the change goes from signing lots of journeymen players on big wages to building a ridiculously elaborate Academy making out that the clubs initial aims was to be sustainable. They'll barely play these Academy products and stagnate at League One level, a bit like Fleetwood now. But they'll constantly get a string of big name coaches and a marquee signing every year to keep the plastics coming back on an annual basis.

I've called for the National League to put a stop to shit like this happening but they love the publicity it generates for them so much that they'll never even entertain it which is absolutely wrong.

I'm just surprised they didn't call the ground the 'class of 92' stadium. Make the capacity 9,2000 and use Beckham's face on the club crest.

I know they’re already overachieving but surely a 92k stadium would be slightly too big?

I have no truck with their Cup game being on telly - had it been any other League Two team drawing Leeds at home it would probably have been on telly.
