That's a question most of the fans are asking to be fair. We're a very physical side and have assembled 'a team of giants' so I think the manager just sets up to play to the strengths of those players and bully the opponents into submission. You can tell he's a disciple of Paul Cook.

I don't know if I've said this already, but if we got promoted I think we'd get absolutely smashed playing like this in the Championship and would come back down in 24th place.

Our change in style in dip in performances actually started the week following Cook getting sacked at Ipswich. Richardson abandoned what had worked well and seen us dominate games, to something that didn't work and became stubborn like Cook was.

I do wonder given this is the first time he has managed in a promotion battle and his closest ally in football suddenly had a lot of spare time that maybe he was communicating regularly and taking too much advice. Cook now is manager of Chesterfield, so if that was the case, Richardson would have to do it himself and hopefully we can revert back to what we did up to November.

Play to our strengths, attack teams, on the floor and give service to the likes of Lang, McClean etc then we will dominate most teams.

4-2-3-1 with loads out of position in a stubborn set up which lacks width and forced to go long then we will through away stupid points.

We face Bolton/Brazil. I understand Bolton are very good so I expect we will be swept aside with relative ease.*

Result Prediction: 0-8.
Scorers: Charles x2, Dunga, Dempsey, Afolayan, Ronaldo x2, Bebeto.

*Result prediction based on entirely factual information found on this forum.
We have to win to even consider pulling off the virtually impossible … but can’t see it happening. A point would be a good result for us

*oh and Katchdunga is injured mate

Donny at home. Bit of a bogey team for us. Last 12 games W1 D5 L6. They've also had a couple of decent wins recently.

However, I'm quietly confident given Michael Jacobs's current form. We're a completely different team when he he's fit and playing. A rare one-goal win for us putting 10 years of hurt behind us.

I like your sense of humour but there is only one General Lee and he will be running the game Tomorrow

I fully expect us to get beat by Wycombe on Saturday, can see them bullying us all over the pitch
Gareth's mentor (John Beck) will be proud of him, it will be shithousery of the highest order on Saturday, god forbid they score early like they did at their place.
Yeah they'll bully us and every time we tackle they'll be going down feigning injury.
We last played them at home at the back end of the 2017/18 season and was terrible game, no flow at all, suited them perfectly, goalless draw a truly awful game.
Their crowd on Tuesday was 3874, very poor for a team chasing the playoffs, they must have been a thrill a minute playing Shrewsbury...

Not a better time to play Ox currently. Luke McNally, a brilliant young centre half who has the attributes to be a diamond for Champ/Prem clubs over the next 18 months is back home in Ireland on compassionate leave and our recent signing/backup centre half/loanee Ciaron Brown is a doubt having limped out of Tuesdays game at Accy so we are down to bare bones...

Our back four is likely to consist of a midfielder at right back, our regular centre half, our first choice right back at centre half (who may not be fit anyway) and a left back who is VERY offensive with little imagination for the defensive side of the game so will be suspect to conceding I should imagine. Otherwise, we aren't bad in the attacking third so expect goals!

As everyone knows Bolton are the bestest team in the league and it's highly unlikely that Ronaldo or Bebeto will make the squad on Saturday but if we have a real off day the 8-0 prediction will be pretty close to the mark

Just a quick heads up for any Salopians coming to the south west, pack some ear-defenders.

About 1,800 kids from the local league will be sitting very close to you. It is really good to see, it happens once a year, but their cheering is very high pitched. Even at the other end it can be a bit painful on the ears, so where you are could be fun. Enjoy.

Wycombe worry me, their strengths are our weaknesses, I think they'll just beat us up, don't have the personnel to compete physically. As ever, nice to see Sir Gareth return - what a player.

I haven’t a clue about tomorrow, MK away win 1-0, Rotherham home lose 5-0 but could have been 10, Sunderland away win 2-1 but could have had 4, Ipswich at home lose 1-0 but could have been 4. I’m expecting a loss but who knows.

A real six pointer between us and Morecambe tomorrow afternoon, we’re certainly playing better under Harris than we were before he was appointed, just hope we give it a really good go again even if we lose.

Who knows v Lincoln, yes sure if they want to be powderpuff softies then they may have a problem.

But if it’s supposed to be windy then that’s not going to do us too many favours either.

As the cliche goes, anyone can beat anyone in this division, and who knows, if LCFC get an early goal and park the bus as doggedly as Shrewsbury did on Tues, we might be screwed.

We don't want to be, most with it are out injured - Jackson, Bridcutt, Hopper and Walsh might not play today.

Also only kept two clean sheets this season and have conceded the most amount of set pieces in the division I think, so...!

Wycombe will be licking their lips with the Imps line-up. Gonna be like watching your mate getting beat up knowing there's nothing you can do.

Cracking game so far with some really good goals. Thought Bakayoko got fouled in lead up to Oxfords second but pretty even game so far and score line reflects it

We've looked a class above Fleetwood, dominated without creating too much initially but two goals just before half time has put us in control. Only the 3rd time all season we've had a 2 goal lead.

Oxford are really good to watch going forward. Really good movement and they commit a lot of players forward. Can’t definitely get at them though on the counter. We’ve been 3 on 2 and 4 on 3 a few times and made the wrong decision. Could go either way

It can’t be happening again surely…… pretty even game today. We are starting to knick these types of games. Still a long way behind but starting to get a bit of hope

I fancied us to get something out of the game today but clearly well beaten. No wins in 5 so the comparatively descent start that Stephen Crainey has enjoyed is well over. Over the next 4 weeks we have the Owls at home then the Mackems and Wigan away, in fact every team we play will be optimistic about a good result

Performances finally starting to turn into points. Only bottom half team to win today, looking a little more comfortable.

Beautiful game on the eye, despite a god awful pitch. That's about as an entertaining 0-0 draw that you're ever going to see in the third tier. Our ability on the ball is ridiculous for league one and Mckenna has us playing some beaut stuff.

Table looks OK with Burton, Cheltenham and Morecambe to come.

We may just meet you guys again come May.

hardly, in the end.

Norton-Cuffy was MotM for Lincoln easily, but I think you played well as a team, defended when you had to - Marquis looked a threat (as you'd expect for a proven goalscorer at this level) but didn't get that much service.

I felt that was a cracking, resilient, battling display from us. We suit being the underdog. Felt Wycombe struggled to get their game going with the strength of the wind, but naturally were always going to come strong. Draw a fair & decent result. Restricted Wycombe to a lot of awful long range efforts, but it was great to see us battling and blocking as a team. Shame we had to concede but very happy with that team performance!

Agreed he was MOTM, his first start and only just turned 18!
