It was a very good game game I thought.

I only saw the last bit when it seemed to be very scrappy (Blackpool were pushing hard for the equaliser). Not much quality on show,.but again may just be because of the more frantic pace it was being played at.

Just watching the highlights of this weekend, lol at parkinson saying it wasn’t a penalty…. quality.

The same bloke who thought it was a penalty against mansfield last season when it was around 3 yards out the area.

On reflection can see why he’d be gutted to concede late on, and it’s annoying to actually agree with nathan jones.

Cambridge doing better but surprised to see orient still down there, plenty of time to change though.

Guessing CJ was injured, I would like us to revisit Rob Apter but I find it unlikely them willing to sell / us being his best option.

Aasgaard is another good player for Wigan, if they do not compete around the play-offs this season it’s down to the manager, got some good players in that side.

The worst thing is we get a shot off after the first handball that looks like it's going in which is stopped by Dobson's raised arm on its way to goal so you could have had your pick of two blatant penalties in the space of 2 seconds.

Apparently their second goal was offside too although I'm not sure.

Parky always claims for things, even when blatant against his side. Like leopards who can't change spots. At first glance at the replay, I thought the handball was harsh, but seeing multiple replays from other angles, no complaints from me and a good call from the ref.

Cannon's goal wasn't offside, Mullin had a shot and Cannon was level, but the ball was deliberately played by the defender into Cannon's path.

I was gutted about the penalty but if it was the other way I'd be raging if it wasn't given.

It's just prime Parkinson.

That's the reason I was unsure on the offside. Not sure if it's deliberately played rather than just being blocked off him. Either way it was poor defending in the first place to let the chance arise

I’m not sure when we are going to learn to stop just standing off and backing up when defending, we always leave far too much time and space and it’s the same result every time.

That surprised when Dobbo was pelting through the field with literally no-one wanting to close him down. Poor lad nearly got a nose bleed when he came so far unchallenged!

What was your view on the ex CAFC lads? Personally, I thought Lee was too deep and didn't effect too much, but he plays like that away from home but sits further forward when we are at home.

I couldn't believe what I was watching just before our second goal. Everyone just backed off Dobson and no-one followed Cannon when he made a run into the box, it all just opened up for him. Criminal defending at any level.

Why isn't handball given against Tickle almost every time he kicks out from hands outside 18 yd box ?
Every time the comms mentioned him, I had a little voice in my head saying "I bet his nickname at the club's Tess"....

TBH, Lee's been off it - home or away - for quite a few games now, I think.
Is it coz it's one of the few positions there's no real competion for his place - a 'flair' type player that can change a game in a flash. Could do with a break IMO.

Yeah, wasn’t overly impressed with Lee but then wasn’t expecting much from him anyway after seeing him at this level for a season.

Dobson, as expected was the best midfielder on the pitch in my opinion.

It’s not the first time we’ve done it this season and been punished. I actually watched our second half last night against Chelsea U21s and we were still doing it.

Dobson is unbelievable, one of the best signings we've made. He's a one man midfield at times and he covers it all himself.

Yep, every Charlton fan knows that, unfortunately Andy Scott thought he could find better.

Club dropped an absolute bollock with that one, one of the best midfielders in the league, wanting to stay and they still fucked it up.
