SATURDAY 15TH APRIL

Exeter City v Plymouth Argyle

Cambridge United v Peterborough United

Accrington Stanley v Fleetwood Town

Bristol Rovers v Derby County

Burton Albion v Sheffield Wednesday

Forest Green Rovers v Barnsley

Ipswich Town v Charlton Athletic

Lincoln City v Port Vale

Milton Keynes Dons v Cheltenham Town

Morecambe v Wycombe Wanderers

Oxford United v Bolton Wanderers

Shrewsbury Town v Portsmouth

Two nice local grudge matches with consequent early kickoffs in Exeter v Devon and Cambridge v Posh...there is also an all-Lancs game in Accy v Fleetwood, but maybe there's not enough history or needle there to expect aggro?

You'd think that FGR's fate will finally be sealed this weekend (us having failed to hammer the nails into the coffin).

Morecambe (A) is certainly not a game to be taken lightly from our side, they may be second bottom in the form table but they are fighting to stay up and still have plenty to play for. Plus Derek Adams hates us (maybe more Ainsworth than us in general?) from when we had the jinx over him in his days managing Argyle, so he'd probably love to smash us.

This game feels even bigger now with both teams hitting form. I think games like this though that form can go out the window and it's about who handles the atmosphere and occasion better.

I'm confident we'll get something from this game as the players have finally woken up and are ready to fight to stay up.

Yeah you were bloody awful. Clearly the cup final and a long trip back from the south west took it's toll. I think over the 90 mins you should be happy with a point because we could have stolen it at the death.

In so far as you’d call it an upset I’d buy stock in Cambridge turning Peterborough over. I thought they looked better than their league position recently by a good amount at VP and it seems they’ve hit a bit of form. At that point of the season in general where the top sides will falter against those closer to the bottom as pressure starts to tell.

Lincoln away for us. About as mid table a fixture as you get this season. They’ve had some great results against the top four but also seem to love a draw. If pushed right now a draw is what I’d be tipping too.

Really?? Up until we gifted them two awful goals, I genuinely thought they were absolutely garbage and one of the worst sides I've seen all season. Couldn't string two passes together and their coloured lad down the left looked like he'd won a competition to play. Was a shocking result. At least Burton, whilst also poor, actually knocked it around a bit and played some tidy football in amongst the shithousery.

Anything less than a win v Barnsley and we’re definitely down. Not ideal, as they seem in good form although at least Nicky Cadden was sent off yesterday so he won’t be the one hammering the final nail in which would have been a sad irony given how key he was in getting us up.

A lot of Cheltenham fans getting excited that it'll be Mickey Duff's team who nails the lid shut. A lot more hoping FGR last a couple more weeks, but that just doesn't look feasible anymore.

Lincoln Away and could do with something here with Ipswich up after. Seem a weird side Lincoln, like us have had some great results against top sides ending our status as the only victors at Home Park mixed with some disappointing ones so seems to depend which Imps turn up on the day.

Another point to inch us closer would be ok although a win would have us unpacking our beach towels.

The effort and desire needs to continue from yesterday now and we have to build on it. Would stick probably with the same formation and personnel with possibly swapping Massey out for Butterworth (would have been Dennis had he not seen red). Seemed to be more solid with it. Dare we wish for a return for Garrity?

Just the casual game this weekend, hopefully get a decent crowd in.

Heart says we’ll do them, head says it’ll be a score draw.

Could do with Stanno, Mitchell, White all being back. Especially as McDonald is “very unlikely” to play this weekend.

Would take an Aimson winner.

Dreading it. Thought Wembley was a one off but Saturday was just as bad.

Would have absolutely loved a free hit this Saturday if we had beaten Lincoln but now we need a result. Played poorly at Morecambe for most of the game too so there's a pattern.

Decimated by injuries currently too and the side looks a bit aimless. Hopefully Exeter bottle their cup final the same way we bottled ours.

I thought Lincoln were desperately poor when we played them at home. Literally zero attacking threat. But clearly this is their tactic....keep it really tight and then hope to nick it. Seems like they have improved since we last played them and always a tough place to go. A draw would virtually do us.

They didn't nick it to be fair, we launched about 6 up top for the last half an hour and left ourselves so open at the back that they could have won about 5-0.

Who knows which Lincoln will turn up!

We're now at last seasons points total, and whilst we've been pretty stodgy this season in the main, with arguably our lowest point in the Vale away game, it's turned into a pretty comfortable back end of the season. Hopefully we can tick over into the late 50's, early 60's and into the top half, which I think is a good effort all things considered i.e. the squad, lack of goals, Kennedy's first season, injuries etc.

I'd be surprised if we made any changes unless they were enforced. House went off ill yesterday and wanted to go off at HT, I doubt Bishop will be back fit, Eyoma can't be far off (not that we need him now O'Connor and Walsh have been back in the last two games), Roughan was on the bench yesterday, Vernam and Monstma out.

Based on our performance yesterday, I suspect the Barnsley game may be the humiliation we were all expecting the Wednesday game to be.

Even a draw against Barnsley will confirm our relegation...given that they are on a reasonable run of form and we have only scored three goals at home against the other eleven teams in the top half of the table they shouldn't have too much to fear...mind you, two of those goals were enough to secure victories against Bolton and Sheff Weds...perhaps we can score early and do as decent a job parking the bus as someone did on Friday, across the bloody roundabout outside the ground, causing gridlock after the final whistle!

MK vs Cheltenham.

A win for either side would go a long way towards guaranteeing safety. They need it a little more than us and are on a great run which I think could be the difference. 1-0 MK for me.

I'm not as convinced as you are. How we got anything out of the Derby game I don't know. We are pretty dire despite the so called good run and have lost Harvey and Tucker so who knows.

As always, it depends which Cheltenham turns up - the one at Lincoln on Friday and MK win, the one that played against Ipswich on Monday then Cheltenham win.

I agree with CTFCfan99 - 1-0 to MK.

Charlton this weekend, hoping we can get revenge for the absolute shit show at their ground, when we somehow drew 4-4 after being 4-2 up in injury time!!

I think they have many good players, so I'm expecting a tough match and have always been surprised to see them in mid-table. They also seem to be in top form. We really need to win this, in front of a sell out crowd again. Macauley Bonne back too you just know what's going to happen.

2 successive disappointing losses for Fleetwood and playing Accy will give them more problems. To say they are fighting for their lives is an understatement and quite frankly a draw wont be a bad result 1-1

We've been pretty sluggish away from home of late and lost our last 2 at Exeter and Burton, its shit or bust for both teams, so I'm expecting a tough slog of a game. Managed to get a ticket and making a weekend of it in one of my favourite parts of the country, looking forward to a vegan pasty and hopefully not getting piss wet through on that open terrace.

Weather forecast is dry and sunny for Saturday. And in all seriousness the new steakless steak pasty is very nice.

Wednesday at home.
3-1 win for us.
We usually play well against Wednesday apart from this season when we lost 4-2 at hillsborough.
