WOW! League Two football really is different!Big blow losing Luke Norris and his reaction head in hands and banging the pitch in frustration before pulling himself off suggests it’s a bad one.

This is the forensic analysis of incidents that is haunting the Premier League with the god awful VAR. It's not a stonewall penalty, I agree.New anti-penalty propaganda just dropped… doesn’t actually hit him on the arm, or indeed anywhere near.
The lads arm is in a really unnatural position, Opitez. Jacob's still image dobs him in even more IMO. That's not how you block a shot as a defender. He's panicked because his keepers gone walkabout. That linesman was the most incompetent prick I've seen in decades. The spineless prick wouldn't even go back to his side to finish the game.
Never seen Notts fans as riled as that. It was handball but the ball was blasted at him from two yards away and he couldn't do a thing about it. The ref waves play on, lino keeps his flag down then about fifteen seconds after the event after Crewe fans have a go at him he puts his flag up.
He got four offsides blatantly wrong, one was about three feet offside and he waved play on, I was on the halfway line and he was continually behind the play. Absolute shocker of a performance by him.
Crewe fans on the pitch, police nowhere to be seen. Proper back to the 80's today.
It wasn’t 15 seconds, or anywhere near. The lino was waiting for the ref to give it before giving it himself. Looked a stonewaller to me and and quite a few others. Fighting amongst ourselves, chucking stuff and smashing up seats isn’t really great no matter what the decision though. That linesman was the most incompetent prick I've seen in decades. As soon as it happened I said handball. I don't think it's a pen because in real time it's just hit him from very close up and there's no intention. I know that's not the rule any more but I watch these sort of decisions on Match of the day and think they aren't penalties when I'm neutral. The lads arm is in a really unnatural position, Opitez. Well Crewe’s never a dull day out is it?
We’ve now worked out what turns docile old Notts County fans into fuckin River Plate ultras. A 65 year old lino with a twitchy flag.
Aside from the decision, Slocombe is a shit keeper who shouldn’t be anywhere near a league 2 promotion chasing team. We played pretty well other than the result, not good enough round the oppo’s box, against Wrexham as well as today.
There was a section of fans rolling out those pubs close to the ground who were proper drunk and up for a scrap before the kick off. It's great that we're travelling in big numbers but we've got a fair few window lickers among them.It wasn’t 15 seconds, or anywhere near. If I was to tell him just one thing, and I don't for a minute suspect he would pay any attention, it would be that we (the fans) are the club and he is just the caretaker while he is in charge...we will be there long after he is gone.
Defence were good today, we just don't have a midfield that can offer them enough cover because of injuries at the moment. For you, that’s the issue, you won’t be a promotion chasing team with that defence and keeper, you won’t finish anywhere close to the current top 3 with that set up, no chance.
Doesn’t mean it can’t be addressed in january as it’s blatantly obvious where you’re struggling, do that and who knows?
Yeah the pubs in Crewe haven’t changed in the 11 ish years since I was last in em. Cheap and loud. Last minute winner there and it’s a great day out, how it actually turned out, not so much. There was a section of fans rolling out those pubs close to the ground who were proper drunk and up for a scrap before the kick off. Thought FGR shipped in the classic Tranmere away performance from this season really - concede a soft goal early, have the ball but do nothing with it, have a man needlessly sent off and then completely give up. It was nice to be on the right end of it for a change, although I feel the pain of anyone who drove up from Gloucestershire to watch that(!)Thought Forest Green looked like they have some reasonable players but don’t think the manager got the script right today. Troy Deeney did a lot of good pre-match PR stuff but was a bit subdued on the pitch. Liked the look of some of the youngsters like Bunker and think Forest Green should have enough to stay up. Meanwhile we have another 6 pointer at Sutton, lose that and this win will count for very little.

Slocombe hasn't done much wrong since being picked but I don't think either are top end L2 standard, I agree.

But his arm is really far out, he knows his keepers gone walkabouts, on the real time video I think it hits him twice so I can't read too much into that still image and watching it on the real time video I think I would have given a penalty if I'm being honest. I can certainly see why it was given. It's just one of those subjective decisions. On another day he waves it away. With it being added time, this stuff about the ref going off injured just prior, I can see why the Notts fans don't think it's their day. But I'm not seeing a major injustice. And in re: to the ref injury he definitley has to stop play if he's unable to keep up with play due to injury. Simple as that. Football Gods just not on Notts side today by the sounds of things but I'm not seeing a scandal If I'm honest.
Now Macari’s in the defence looks ok, the keeper situation is a disaster zone though. Stone seems good enough to me but Williams clearly doesn’t agree. For you, that’s the issue, you won’t be a promotion chasing team with that defence and keeper, you won’t finish anywhere close to the current top 3 with that set up, no chance.

For us to make top three we're going to have to keep within four or so points between now and the window, then hope we get the players we need. I think we need a keeper, midfielder and a 6' plus striker as an option.Forgive me, i thought it was generally your defence and keeper than midfield, obviously you’ll know more about your side than me.
Whereas quality will always be a winner, depth is equally important and when the surface gets scratched if there’s nowt there that’s the issue.
Either way, the top 3 is between stockport wrexham mansfield and county unless some miraculous fluke (at the time of writing) happens.
Macari MOTM by a distance today. Makes the whole defence tighter. Now Macari’s in the defence looks ok, the keeper situation is a disaster zone though. Stone seems good enough to me but Williams clearly doesn’t agree.
You haven't drawn 0-0 since August mate
Blatant pen for me, knows what he's doing jumping up like that.
Classic Notts though, keeper a mile out of his goal for no reason whatsoever.
The decision is made within 2.5 seconds, not sure how he could even make it any quicker after lino tells him. What's all this "ref waves play on and 15 seconds later it's given" talk
Every club at this level would miss a Ruben Rodrigues. Irreplaceable, but we made a very good attempt with who we signed. For us to make top three we're going to have to keep within four or so points between now and the window, then hope we get the players we need. We've a hard-working talented squad but we are a bit short at key moments that swing seasons into promotion winning seasons.
Rodriguess is being missed more now than at the beginning of the season.
