Dirty filthy Noblot!
yo
We're enjoying it while we can don't you worry, League football is not something I ever thought I'd see.

Plus it is a real privilege to be shown on the same list of fixtures as this historic Carlisle United side.
You will be ok unless you have points deducted for whatever reason

Funny how the Bolton fans view Stevenage. They were awful against us and I can't believe Grimsby and Barrow are worse!

We’ve taken 1point of 6 from Stevenage this season. They battle hard, seem to have the knack of winning ugly and would expect them to stay up comfortably.

Stevenage were the better side when we played them (a 2-0 win for us). Had nowt up front that day, but Norris is a pretty good player who will lead the line well enough for them to stay up. Think there’s realistically only five sides who could drop this year (Grimsby, Barrow, Sarfend, Stevenage and Colchester) and Stevenage are IMHO the best of them.

Great result for southend, it’s why i’m so pleased we’ve put our run together to get away from the bottom group.

Would love it if barrow stayed up though, be a real shame to have one season up here affected by corona and go back down again

Stevenage at home is pretty much the only game all season we've won deservedly - they were abysmal and we played them off the park.

Can't comment on Barrow/Colchester, not seen either in action. Grimsby were poor against us, while both Southend and Scunthorpe fielded weak teams. Both appear to have picked up since, but if there's a lack of depth in their squads and they have to deploy similar line-ups, potential strugglers.

Barrow were poor against us, not that we were much better in the second half, and Grimsby have a completely different team now to the one that played us under Holloway.

I can see Grimsby's form picking up under Hurst but time might be against them.

Pitch is still frozen in parts at Colchester but it's on at the moment.

Clarke replacing Lapslie who's injured, and Perch playing RB because Gordon knee felt funny, so that's taking a bit of attacking threat off Mansfield on paper. Sarkic is out too, so basically we have zero attacking options on the bench, squad is starting to look light with very few injuries. We are easily a player or two short, considering our fixture congestion it's pretty bad.

I think it was a mistake letting Maynard and Cook go without another striker coming in, and it's going to hurt us eventually.

It’s easy to forget how far behind we were coming into December. When we play 4 at the back we are okay 3/5 doesn’t work

About time we finally scored a goal, shame it was at the wrong end.

At least Evatt can stay in the Derbyshire countryside fondling sheep on Wednesday evening instead.

Finished 2-2, Perch with a great worked goal in the second half. Two good Colchester goals.

Other than a 15 minute spell at the end of the first half Mansfield generally edged it, We played okay, disappointed that we didn’t hold on but result probably about right.

Now 11 without a win for us, but at least we've finally found the net.

Need to be holding on, probably did enough to win the game but yeah, can’t argue too much i suppose.

It keeps the unbeaten run going and good for confidence

Yeah this is our problem, form has definitely picked up last 2 games but we still found a way to lose them both and games are disappearing and the table is looking very nasty for us. It’s gonna need a good run of consecutive results to get safe and I don’t see where that good run is gonna come from. At least the improvements since Hurst arrived are big ones so I guess at least we have a chance, whereas with the team he inherited left as it was we would be 100% down.
