First home game of the seas...oh, no, my sister is getting married. My first game will probably be Rotherham in September now.

Walking wounded in defence for us. Walsh definitely out, Montsma popped his shoulder last night, Jackson missed last night to rest a niggle up (although he struggled for three games a week anyway so if fit, he'd not have played). No sign of Nlundulu yet.

On the plus side, Sanders, Bishop, Fiorini and others got some needed game time.

Like other sides, I don't think we'll start clicking properly into gear until early September.

Away at Wendies, Darren can expect a barrage for his behaviour when he left to go there( not the fact he went but how he went about it and the shit he left us in).
So Matt Smith is having a Covid test, if positive Charlie Seaman will have to quarantine, Tommy Rowe (Achilles) John Bostock (groin) could both be missing to add to Hiwula, Taylor and Okenhibirie. We need at least 6 new bodies realistically but will get 2 at most. Fully expecting a reight old Tonkin

Expect us to go for it a bit more than we did away at Charlton last week, front 3 will probably be completely different. Paterson is definitely out with concussion, Gregory scored 2 against Man Utd U23’s yesterday so hopefully he’s fit. Brown I think was a safer option and offered Palmer more protection so expecting a natural winger in his place this time. Marvin Johnson also did more in 25 minutes than Green did in his 65 so hope to see him starting too.

Wycombe at home.

When you look at the fixture historically then normally I'd be thinking we should get something out of this. However, given Wycombe's foray into the Championship, this isn't the fixture it was historically.

With that being said, I go into every Cheltenham game with confidence at the moment so I'm going to be bold and say we'll get a 2-1 win.

Crewe at home for us. First proper home game for 522 days. It will be a party atmos for sure.

Slightly fortuitous win for us at Fleetwood on Saturday but we did have only one central midfielder on the pitch. We've sorted that problem now though.

Expecting some nice football from Alex as usual, but hopefully we're starting to gel and a second win would be great.

Fleetwood for us at home on Saturday. Hoping we have some CHs fit otherwise it’s going to be a bit of a lottery.

We have played very well in patches in both away games so far, still short in numbers and with a few new players to come in. Fingers crossed the home supporters can sing us on to 3 points though and make SB a bit of a fortress compared to our poor home form last season.

Well I'd bite your leg off to get a repeat of last season's result at your place. Another tough game, some key players still not 100% but that is the case all over the country so no excuses. A draw will be a good result for the Cods, we are pretty solid in defense but up front struggling. At best 1-1

Gills fans I would recommend looking at our website for details in getting into Home Park. They have introduced ‘airport style’ (though not the machines) searches before people get into the ground. It should not create too long queues for you, but I would not leave entry until the very last minute.

I don't think you will get the nice Football on Saturday. I'm expecting a bit of a hammering. We've got a few signings to make yet before we can say we've nailed our strongest 11.

Still looking forward to it though! I was at the last League away game in March last year (Exeter), so was determined to get to this one. Long old train journey, but will be worth it to get back in an away end.

I’ve not long arrived in Morecambe for a long weekend ahead of Saturday’s game. First proper away end for donkeys and already loving it!

Think it’ll be a difficult test for us with how Morecambe have started and with it being their first ever home game in League 1.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell will be out with Covid and with Ollie Norburn being sold to Posh, we’re short of numbers in midfield. Cosgrove coming in has given us all a boost ahead of the weekend though and should start.

Morecambe 1-2 Salop (Udoh & Cosgrove)
Attendance:- 3,650 (550 Salopians)

If you're coming over, and this will apply for Bolton fans on Tuesday as well, one of the main routes through the centre of Lincoln is currently closed due to roadworks (Pelham Bridge) so there are diversions.

It'll be worth giving yourself an extra half an hour or so to navigate your way around it. Distance wise it isn't too far but Saturday shoppers, football crowd (and rush hour on the Tuesday) will add time to it.

Yep, and traffic without the busiest roads in the area being closed due to roadworks on the bridge, is usually pretty crazy on match days as it is.

We’ve lost Matt Smith to Covid and Charlie Seaman has to self isolate has he travels to training with him, another 2 down it just gets worse

Welcome to the Lancashire riviera. What plans do you have, apart from the match?

Horribly excited about this. Shit loads of optimism around the town and the second half performance against a full strength Blackburn on Tuesday, where we dominated them, and played some sublime football, and the 2-2 at Ipswich has left us all anticipating a win. Be disappointed if it isn't but realistic enough to know that it won't be easy.
Steven Robinson seems to be showing he knows his stuff and is confident enough to change systems mid match. He's brought in 17 players over the last 6 weeks and although one or two have looked a bit limited most have impressed. Particularly like Jonah Ayunga up front and Greg Leigh at left back / wing half and Cole Stockton looks hungry and impressive. Adam Phillips, too, is looking like he wants to show what he's capable of, after recently returning on a season long loan from Burnley - maybe he sees this season as make or break for his career. Clearly we are a side that needs more time to gell but the signs are all looking good and positive.

How many is that you are missing in total?
The squad sounds depleted.

Thanks! Planning on venturing down to the seafront from midday today and take in as many pubs and bars as we can. It’s also the Morecambe music festival today so that should be good!

Good start last week, we've now got three games in a row against teams not generally expected to be challenging near the top (all still better than us though in all likelihood) so we need to get at least one win on the board, 4 points ideally and 6 or more being a big bonus.

Our record at Accrington is awful, and it sounds like we're short at centre back with injuries/knocks, so I'd take a point tomorrow. Thoroughly looking forward to getting back on the train at an ungodly hour for an away day (although I was fortunate enough to be on the balcony at Orient last season so not quite as long a wait as most others!).

Five definitely, all attacking midfielders/strikers and 2 others carrying knocks that are doubtful, not sure we will have more than 2 on the bench tomorrow the squad is that thin

We have a completely new team and from the first two matches we are still miles away from being a coheasive team. We look very susepct at the back, and the attacking players have struggled to gel. Hopefully the home crowd will spur on the new lads, but at the moment any half decent well organised side will give us a game.

Away to accy and I’m really not confident, a few injuries and I just can’t see us scoring, a bit drastic after one game but I’m just struggle to see where the goals are coming from, we will be 100% committed though which is a plus.

another plus I’m clinging onto was that our away form last season was cracking so I’m keeping everything crossed we can pinch something.

heart says 1-1 head says 3-0

Jackson fit and it sounds as though Montsma's shoulder is fine. I'd err on the side of caution with that one, shoulders popping out can be a bit dodgy.

home to Ipswich.
All 3 strikers out injured plus mancienne and other defenders too.
The best we can hope for is to score early and some how shut up shop and shithouse a 1-0.
A few weeks off players returning sadly.

Going to be a very emotional day tomorrow. People are in shock. Appreciate the support of Exeter Fc last night.

Steve Evans has tweeted a message today that has also been appreciated.

Heading to Plymouth tomorrow as said its going to be emotional, and think the game may take a back burner due to last night's tragic incident., I just pray that our fans show the respect that is deserved, pretty sure they will but you always get 1or 2 mindless idiots.

Thoughts go out to the city of Plymouth
