We are currently operating with a squad of about 14 senior pros and with the disrupted pre-season our lot were dead on their feet.
You deserved you win though and all the best going forward.
Let’s hope the city of Plymouth can start the long process of healing. I wish you well.

How much was this tactics of going for the draw at least and possibly a counter attack winner, and how much was it too many players were knackered. Lowe said that he did not think you were time wasting much, just that several of your players cramped up.
Think it was to fitness, we have a tiny squad and need reinforcements as soon as possible, we had several pre season games cancelled and had nearly 3 weeks of training missed due to covid, so we are way behind where we should be.

Saying that though Plymouth deserved to win and got the 3 points they deserved.

Wish the best for Plymouth and hope you have a good season, met some really nice guys before and after the game

Excellent goal from Scully yesterday but it sounds like it took us a while to get going.

Seemed to take us a while to get going but we were similar at times last season but in those sort of games, 99% of the time were able to click for a short period and score goal(s).

Really poor yesterday. Having to play Digby at CB a double edged sword due to him being inadequate there and having no-one to replace him in his centre mid role. 1st goal very similar to the first last weekend, concerning.

Can't say I agree with how Bonner is setting us up, for the third game in a row we looked like a different team with Smith and Ironside on the pitch at the same time, though appreciate in two of those games the opposition would have started sitting back a bit.

Expecting similar Tuesday night, especially with no Hoolahan. I think it will take us getting a proper beating for Bonner to change it this early in the season, thought we might have been going that way yesterday but the scoreline in the end didn't really do the game justice.

Unfortunately think we are 2 or 3 starting XI players short of being able to compete successfully at this level as it stands. Expect one or two more to come in at some point but I imagine they're more likely to be squad fillers.

Agree 100% with your post Tom and in a way it's good to know it's not just me that's slightly concerned with Bonner's game plan. And you're right about the Accy game, we got lucky and we got what we deserved. U's fans saying we could've/should've nicked a point are mistaken imo.
