Definitely haven’t deserved to get anything from the second half performance

More even second half. One controversial moment where it looked like a Stockley header was over the line but goal not given.

Never expected anything today but still as toothless as ever. Dreadful.

Living in hope there'll be two worse sides than us come May.

Great win away at Grimsby, keeping them below us, moving us up to third, and proving that our manager knows much more about tactics than we do.

I, and others, were very skeptical of the lineup, but it worked perfectly to the point of being an extremely comfortable 0-2 win. Two counter attacks but Grimsby offered nothing for 97 minutes.

A very relaxed game to watch and a good Saturday night now!

Yeah looks pretty conclusive that. Not that we’d have deserved to win it. Did improve second half or at least when Rico Richards came on. DM as a manager though spends too long worrying about stopping the opposition than trying to attack them.

Suppose if you can’t win it then make sure you don’t lose. If I never see Hackford play for us again it’ll be too soon.

Don’t get the rub of the green with decisions lately but that’s a shocker. It’s miles over!

That said crap performance so take a point.

Just hopeless from us today. I do not know what anyone inside or outside of the club based their belief on that Maynard would ever come good for us. It’s not even just what happens on the pitch, it’s clear within 5 minutes of watching an interview that he hasn’t got enough about him to be a success at this level. Appallingly out of his depth.

Notts fans being Notts fans there were still some clapping him and the team off the pitch after that!

We looked tired today and was fairly poor overall, but still managed to get the win over the line with a few gears we didn't have to go up into left. I didn't think Barrow were ever going to score.

No two ways about it, that linesman has to be sacked. Its not incompetence it's blatant cheating. Its not even marginal. I get we were poor today, but we rode the storm first half, great goalkeeping at times, got the clean sheet, and were robbed by the linesman of a valuable 2 points. Smash and grabs happen.

We simply never ever get those decisions go our way. Officials have cost us at least 4 points over the last few weeks. It's an absolute disgrace.

Big win for us today that. The real news though is more defenders having to go off injured. Not good

I can't comment on the last few weeks since they didn't cost you anything against us, but today's decision was mind bogglingly bad. That decision has legitimately cost Port Vale 3 points. It's horrendous.

Which, from my perspective, is absolutely brilliant.

It gets worse. He's quite clearly handballed it to get the ball to bounce back with that force...but then it bounced on its way back and was still way over the line. This is as the ball is heading back. Its cheating. No other way it can be explained. Cost us 2 clear points today that could be massive for us. We just never get any of these decisions go our way. It's farcical.

It was. With that said I’m amazed that given how the first half went we were even in position to take a point so I guess it’s how you want to look at it. Wasn’t an especially difficult call to make though.

Absolutely fucking disgraceful that.

Linesman wants investigating. It's not even remotely debatable. Well and truly robbed. Should be travelling back with another away win yet we've been denied that by downright cheating.

Beaten by a better team today so it sounds so I’ve got no problem with that, it happens.
Sounds like we created fuck all thanks to Crewe’s impressive defensive play so can’t really grumble at that result.

2 handballs and about a yard over the line, then bounces half a yard over the line on its way back. Cheated. That's clear cut evidence of corruption. The ref for clearly seeing the handballs and not giving a penalty, and the linesman for not giving the clear goal.

Like I say, we were poor...but kept a clean sheet and then snatched a perfectly good winner.

It's not corruption, it's not like the league is trying to keep Vale in League Two... They're just shite. And annoyingly, they're shite for all of us. That is a hilariously bad decision, but at some point this season we'll all get screwed by the shit League Two officiating, probably more than once.

It’s baffling really, either the linesman is in a poor position not to see that as the player has both feet in the goal! Or just useless.

Get it’s a tough gig and that but anyone should see that’s in and that could be two crucial lost points come May.

I'd long left by the time I could have given Maynard and his seven dwarfs a generous round of applause

It's match fixing. Let's just be honest it's not even debatable. Ref "misses" 2 blatant handballs, and the liner "misses" the ball crossing the line, and then landing over the line on it's way back out when he can't use the excuse the player got in his way. In that one incident, between them the ref and liner have "missed" 2 blatant penalties and a blatant goal.

Not having that they're all mistakes. Too much goes against us in that incident for it to be anything other than intentional cheating.

It was not a very pretty watch again for us and Swindon. I think that's the worst Swindon side I've ever seen. I don't think they had a shot at goal today. We weren't great either. Our goal seemed a tad fortunate, too. Happy for Kav to get it. He's not had a great season so far, but the effort is always there. Thought Huntington did well to marshal Smith. Solid win. And Aden Baldwin is back. Can't complain.

Oh, and I hate it when other team players fake injuries and contact so I'll have to be consistent and have a go at Halliday—embarrassing from him near the end today.
