Brady has confirmed that McGowan and Odimayo's injuries from Friday's game both season enders, thats seven that wont play again this season. Hopefully one or two of the 5 others out will still play a part in the coming weeks.

Been unlike anything we have experienced in the past. Questions have to be asked of the medical team and also whether some of those signed are made of glass anyway. Otherwise a freak circumstance.

To be fair two eggs I don’t think you can blame the medical team. Players are having to play at 70% because we’ve got no one else and that is leading to injuries. Lintott and Odimayo both out because they’ve played when they shouldn’t. Sowerby had to play centre half injured etc etc.

Some of them I can understand as you say. But Odimayo has been injured a lot already this season. Fox was injured quite a bit at Grimsby, Magloire has quite an injury record, same with McWilliams. Eppiah and Harrop are both known to have injury issues.

Some of it is unfortunate, but one of the best abilities is availability and think we have quite a few that are unlikely to be relied upon most of the season.

You aren’t capable of coming to any conclusion.

And keep your fetishes to yourself.

I wonder why Carver posts under different aliases and thinks that people wont know that it’s him?
It’s almost like he knows what a moron he is and gets embarrassed so posts under a different name but then posts the exact same kind of shit making his new alias absolutely pointless.
Complete cretin.

Grimsby will beat us
Hope we do as from a purely selfish perspective, I want you in our division next season.

Yeah Fox had a few nigglies but nothing major like this season. The general consensus around him was that if he wasn't injury prone there's no way we'd have signed him in the NL. It's a shame really, the way he plays is all in and it doesn't exactly protect himself from injuries but he does it so well when he's on form.

And yep on availability...definitely such a key and underrated attribute. I read somewhere this week that Harry Clifton has played 95 matches for us since the start of last season, Waterfall's on 90. Both have been our most consistent players in that time too, can't overstate how big of a plus that is really.

Anyone else and you’d consider play off team Vs bottom of the league a bit of a banker but our results against the lower placed sides has been truly horrendous all season. Given that and throw in Rochdale’s recent upturn, a 0-0 is very very much on the cards, heart says 2-0 away win, head doesn’t believe it.

They gave away an immense amount of chances against us, and the GK pulled off some top notch saves to keep them in it but to be fair they looked dangerous on the counter.

Last time I went to Grimsby was New Year’s Day 2011 and we lost 7-2 so I’m expecting a less tragic waste of my time.

To be fair, one of your goals was an absolute screamer. I'll always remember the name Louis Briscoe. Couldn't tell you who scored all of ours but I know he got one of yours.

Didn't your right back score 3 that day? It was tragic. Anyway I fancy us to win tomorrow, if we create as many chances as we have been doing of late and then all the moaning miserable fucks thst can't get excited for a possible promotion with 6 games to go to fuck off back in hiding until the next game we drop points.

Oates and Clarke back and hopefully Reed. 3-1 to the Stags

Carlisle fans - what’s your injury situation like? Paul Simpson mentioned it in his pre match presser, how many are out tomorrow?

Briscoe loved a screamer, he scored a worldie against Barrow back in the days we used to put 7/8 past them at the Mill.

Skipper (and very consistent CB) Morgan Feeney is likely to miss the rest of the season. Jack Ellis and Fin Back (the two battling it out to be first choice RB/RWB) are also out for the remainder. Taylor Charters isn't ready to return from a long lay off, and Tobi Sho-Silva will also miss the rest of the season. Other than Sho-Silva, they'd all be in with a big chance of starting if they were fit.

Some concern from a few about Callum Guy, who's been substituted early in the last two games - but I think that's been precautionary, and he should be fine to start tomorrow.

Believe it or not, this is about as good as we've been all season in terms of players being available, never known a season like it!

Your current predicament is similar to what we endured for the first half of the season. No idea how we've had it so bad, but we're clearly not the only ones :)

Depends what you're looking for - if you're after a bite to eat, the Thin White Duke is worth a look. The Rugby Club is close to the ground and has a decent bar with real ale, it was always welcoming to away fans though I've not drank in there for a good while myself. Lloyds Bar (the William Rufus) is half decent, considering its a Spoons - not a fan of the chain, but the beer is always well kept at Lloyds, and of course there's a decent selection. I'd avoid the Beehive on Warwick Road, it'll be absolutely heaving and probably won't be allowing away fans tomorrow.

There's also beer in the ground, but it tends to be pretty grim!

The boardroom and kings head still good? Used to live in Carlisle and spent many a time in those. And then get a parmo from top stop on botchergate

Not drank in either since covid - I live an hour's drive away from Carlisle and only really get into the city for games now. Quality of the ale in the Kings was always good, regularly features in CAMRA guides etc. Another pub I used to enjoy was the Howard, but again I've not been in there for years. My pre-match beer tends to be in the fanzone outside the ground now. Local(ish) ale on tap, £3 a pint until 2pm - and a couple of cracking food vans (the Chippie Van, Cumbria Roast, and Stackerz burgers are all worth spending a few quid on!), and then I suffer the 'delights' of a pint in the ground as kickoff approaches.

Dolan has looked really off the pace whenever he's played, I really hope we don't have to retain him next season
It’s surprising how much his legs have gone and out of shape he is when you consider he’s only 30

Biggest loss injury wise for Carlisle is Carver out for 6 weeks with a ruptured ring piece after he carelessly dropped the soap in the shower.

I’ve been drinking tonight, but suddenly I have this hint of confidence ahead of tomorrow, I’m visualising us winning. No doubt I’ll have a sense of reality tomorrow when I wake up.
