A first ever visit to Bromley tomorrow and a difficult one to predict. They were well organised at our place and have pretty much acquited themselves well in league 2. Struggling up front with a real lack of fire power, fortunately our defense has stepped up in the last couple of games. It has all the markings of a draw 1-1

We are absolutely awful at the moment. From a team that should be on the cusp of promotion to one on the cusp of relegation. Lets just get this season over without dropping too much further.

You never know, I am also keeping one eye on making sure we got a gap over those just outside the playoffs though.

This has similar vibes this half to us and Notts. Grimsby had a lot of the ball but not quite got a final ball / touch to make it count. Very impressive performance though so far.

You've done us a solid there. Was just writing a response to say that's been much of our season in a nutshell but at least we look up for it today and seem to be winning the midfield battle.

And then Obikwu turns it on. The Donny number 5 barged him off the pitch in the opening seconds but Obikwu has absolutely done him with a class first touch there and kept his composure. Clinical that from Obikwu. Have to say we probably deserve to be ahead here.

We started brightly but have to say the longer the half went on the more Grimsby got on top, can’t argue with them winning we looked clueless by the end of the half.

We’ve looked good again, it’s very Obikwu to scuff 3 or 4 touches in a half then string together 3 beauties to score. With experience he could turn into a top striker.

Donny have offered nothing so far, but when they do we’ll just have to hope our defence copes with it better than we have in previous games.

Haha, I just call him JDS. It's taken him a while to acclimatise but he's doing well. He was putting in a decent performance probably once every four games or so at the start of the season but he's added a bit of consistency of late.

Looks like it's gone down as an OG. Should have maybe had a pen in the build up, looked like Rose got fouled to me, would have to see it back though. Absolutely buzzing to be two up here!
