West Midlands police were never the most tolerant, in the old days at Fellows Park there would be more chucked out watching from that bridge than left inside the ground.

West Midlands, along with Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire police have a abysmal attitude when it comes to policing football.

Wouldn't let me post yesterday, issues on the site ?
Vale were superb though Colchester looked as though they didn't fancy it.
5-0 would of flattered them.
Sneaked in unnoticed so there to be shot at now
Luckily we have played all of the bottom 3 twice now so hopefully no more fuck ups .
Quite hopeful but still Crewe Cheltenham Bradford and Plymouth to play

Beaten them all already. Not worried at all.

More concerned with the likes of Walsall, Scunthorpe, Crawley and Oldham. Win those type of games and I'll start to believe.

Its those games that will be key, teams not as open, hopefully this much improved post Xmas Vale side will have the quality to break them down now... we will see!

If you team put in at least 50% effort you will kill us, our team have fully given up on this season

Your one of those bastard sides we never beat though, our win on your last visit was the only time in about 4 decades (granted we haven't met that often).

So far we've cruised the games expected to lose and stutters in the ones we've been expected to win... Bookies must be pissed off with us!

I wish this was one of those times but we are truly dire, if you score our team will fold immediately.

Yet strangely as I've said before you are right up there with the best side I've seen.
Absolutely pissed all over us and 2-1 wasn't a fair reflection.
Hopefully you are right what you say on the 29th

I've only watched Scunthorpe the two times, but I think their back line struggles whenever they come up against a pacey forward line. They may be be big and strong, esp. the two CB's, but they're a tad slow for my liking.

Guess it’s one of them like us, if your a Colchester fan watching that Saturday then went as a neutral to watch us at Morecambe you’d wonder what was going on! Luckily we’ve just been more consistent than say Scunthorpe, not much between most at this level on a given day.

You've played Andy Butler both times this season, we're a lot better when McArdle and McGahey play together. McGahey played RB at Cambridge and then McArdle was injured for the game last week.

If we’re on worst police force, I want to nominate Cambridgeshire police for their response (or lack of) to Extension Rebellion in the city yesterday. If football fans did a fraction of what they’ve been up to they’d have come down hard. As it is, no action taken....

The radio report yesterday was quite funny, a nearby resident was commenting that one of the protesters showed up in their big BMW and got a nylon tent out the boot.

Yesterday they were protesting against harming the environment by harming the environment. Haven’t seen what they’re up to today yet.

Anyway, the police just left them to it yesterday and it was only a formal complaint by the college that resulted in it being recognised as a criminal offence. Just contrast that with how you’re treated at away football games......

I once got nicked by Cambridgeshire police for (and I quote) “Acting the big man” on my way to a pub before an away game at Peterborough. Only took six of them.
