The home side has tended to dominate in Orient-Walsall fixtures down the years. Hopefully this Saturday will be no different as we could do with getting going again after two sub-par performances.

Attention Sutton Utd fans.

Just to let you know there are roadworks on the roundabout outside the stadium. A bit gridlocked when I went past at 2pm today.

If you drive down via the m23 and park in the business centre and you should be fine but if you travel via way of the a217/a23 give a bit of extra time.

I know he can't play against us on Saturday but how is Amond doing at Exeter?

Looked good in his first few games without scoring. The last 5 games he’s been an unused sub as Nombe has been playing so well on his own up top.

What I’ve seen of him, I like and he’s also really positive off the pitch with the fans, which is nice. But, ultimately he will be judged on the goals he scores, so when he next gets his chance, he has to take it.

Tranmere have yet to score a league goal away from home this season. If the current form of Carlisle and ourselves is anything to go by we should break our duck on Saturday! Then again?
You're one of only four teams to have scored fewer goals than us... incredibly.

Our defence has been pretty poor in the last four games, but at the start of the season it looked like it would be our strong suit. Players being out injured hasn't helped and I don't know who will be fit to start Saturday but if Gavin Skelton can bring the likes of McDonald and Mellor back, and if he can whip them back into the shape they showed against the likes of Swindon, Port Vale and Orient then we might frustrate a side who seem as bad up front as we do (I suppose technically worse on goals scored).

Can't see how one of the worst attacking sides in the division is going to score any goals at all againt the EFL's most formidable defence. Think to yourself whether your current attack could score past your current defence. Probably not. There's some potential in players like Clough and Young but I can't see that potential being realised overnight, and certainly not in scoring against a team that has only conceded four goals all season.

The obvious conclusion is that if we defend like we did in the first few games then 0-0 would be a really good result for us but a low scoring win for Tranmere still the most likely outcome. If we defend like we have been recently then there's no reason not to think Tranmere could significantly bost their goals-for column. Scunthorpe scored two against us after all.

Looked on the highway site and it says the finish on 22Oct and also finish on 6th Nov.

Take your choice with that but I would say yes. Mind you, if your driving down from Burslem you should use the m23 and park in the business centre before the roadworks....although you'll have to go around the roundabout to get back.

I think we’ll give a little bit of a reaction to the Beech sacking and pick up a hard fought point. But Tranmere will get their first away goal. Beech turned us into a terrible ineffective football team, so that isn’t going to change over night. But I just have a feeling we’ll scrape something here.

Carlisle 1-1 Tranmere

We go ahead through a penalty. Tranmere get a deserved equaliser and absolutely pepper us but we cling on for a point.

After 3 away games in a week, we now have a run of home games and our most local game away at Stevenage in the next few weeks. We've been fairly good at home so far.

Tom James will be back from his ban, very good player for this level and probably the best right back too. We're lucky we got him, only on a one year deal though so unless we manage to get promoted I doubt he'll be here in 12 months.

Paul Smyth back from Northern Ireland duty too - We need to get more out of him, clearly has his uses. Hopefully he stays injury free now.

Ruel Sotiriou has to start ahead of Aaron Drinan who has gone off the pace, Sotiriou should've started last week at Barrow after his 2 goals and good performance at Crawley in the Papa Johns. Good to keep Alex Mitchell in our back 3 too as it gives us alot more balance.

Jackett seems a bit reluctant to use our overall squad, last week Harry Smith and Theo Archibald were both tired by the end of the game and running on empty a bit, but he refused to bring on Dan Kemp or Tyrese Omotoye to freshen the attack up a bit. So could be a subtle message to our board he doesn't quite rate them.

If Harry Smith gets injured then we'll be a bit fucked because no one else can play the targetman role he does and in truth Tyrese Omotoye who is the backup, isn't really up to it yet and is still quite raw.

Walsall very much in transition, saw Conor Wilkinson was back last week from the bench and got the winner, can easily happen again at the weekend as he'll have a small point to prove and useful player when he turns up.

It’s another tricky game, bar Scunthorpe we’ve played all the current top 7.
Fair play to Scunthorpe for getting themselves up into the top 7 as the last time I looked they were bottom of the league.

It's a proper shame this is on a Tuesday night, if this was a Saturday afternoon we'd comfortably bring a 1,000 down, good day out on the drink, plenty of decent places to eat, such an underrated city Bradford.

Still think you'll pagger us but we'd welcome three points!
Yup,it was the first away fixture i looked for & really pissed off its on a Tuesday night,so won't be able to go.
Its seems ages since we've played bradford & always had a good piss up in Otley before the game.

I put "Bar Scunthorpe" i.e. they were the exception.

Any Bradford fans know why there will be no pay on the day tickets for Saturday?
Ticketmaster stopped selling tickets 4 days before the game, which has left quite a few of our fans now unable to go.

Looking forward to this one. We're starting to tuck a few away, while staying strong defensively. I anyways enjoy Carlisle away, and there should be a good away crowd.

Well I doubt there’ll be a good home crowd to match. People are sick of the shit football and would simply rather stay at home and watch squid game.

What are the odds Scunthorpe suddenly hit form and smash us 3-0. Would be typical

Our goal difference is -16 after 11 games, you're insane if you think we will score 3 and not concede in a game

I remember our worst football league team of 99/00 (only stayed up as Chester had a looney chairman manager)

they were shocking all season got I think 38 points in total yet played eventual title winners Swansea and smashed them 2-0.

does happen……dont know why but does.

It certainly does, we took 4 points from both Cheltenham and Bolton last season with a team that up until around March time was by far the worst team we had ever assembled in the Football League.
Granted the win v Bolton was after Hurst had got us playing much better but Bolton were absolutely flying at that point and would’ve expected to come here and beat us no problem.

We haven't won at Bradford since 1995. Taken a couple of heavy defeats too (1-3 and 1-4) in recent years.
First goal is key as a Bradford goal first will probably decide it.
