Three points for Port Vale here. We aren't very good at the moment

Barrow at home. Best home record in the league vs a team with 1 win in 6. 1-0 Barrow.

Will see what sort of team we can maybe cobble together. My guess is it’ll be still very makeshift like yesterday. Am also assuming Dan Jones will be suspended as doubt they will overturn his red card.

Looked harsh and their tackle in the build up to their goal was identical but Gibbo didn’t roll around like he had been shot.

I think Rodney travelled and Jake Taylor was warming up so hopefully those two at least are available. Not sure on the extent of Worralls absence, assume he popped his shoulder at Rovers hence not involved.

Hopefully yesterday was just the sacrificial lamb of a game to protect Woz and Rodders for the Xmas period.

Wonder how far off Wilson is? He’s been out 4 weeks now and was quoted as 6-8 so should be back at worst by Swindon I’d have thought.

Big game this one. Lots of teams down our necks now and if we beat Exeter it keeps us ticking over trying to get to January and bodies back.

One other aspect of yesterday which didn’t help is the boys looked knackered second half. The week off will do them the world of good.

Maybe so but the one camera angle that there is of it is not very conclusive to be honest. I think he likely did win the ball but I also couldn't say for definite it's not a red either. If there is another angle then great but I think it will stand if not.

I would say the Swindon game is a realistic target, maybe Brentford. Some have said Salford on Boxing Day but I would want him to build up some match fitness in some friendlies first. Also not exactly sure of the extent of Amoo's hamstring injury though those kind of ones definitely require caution.

Can't remember the last time we played Rochdale! must have been back in the 80s and i've never been to spotland so i might give myself an early crimbo present and have a day out on saturday, also it will give me the chance to visit my daughter in wigan after the game.

Us too. Another two possible injuries yesterday. So maybe without Nombe, Dieng, Atangana, Hartridge and Sweeney.
May not sound much but they are key players. And we aren't recalling Sparkes from loan.

You would have played them 13/14 season, your first season back in the league.

Going to take a wild guess at a draw. Smashed Tranmere 4-zip the other week; sure we’ll stumble our way to 1-1 this time.

Last game of the 13/14 season if I recall. Think they got promoted that day.

We're having our annual season slump and will continue to fall now until March where we pick up form again but it's too little too late. Convincing Vale win here, 3-0.

We are also going through a bit of a slump. 3 league games without a win now. Home form remains a concern and a worrying poor lack of discipline in the defeat at Barrow.

I'm going to this one at home to Walsall so can only see X2 double chance on those betting slips.

I imagine we will work our socks off but fail due to our lack of quality.

Hill deserves a win for the effort he's got the players putting in and how organised we now look compared to earlier in the season. We deserve a bit of luck so gotta hope this is the game we get it.

Surely Bradford aren't as bad as their fans claim. I'm looking forward to finding out.

We are not as bad as Cas suggests!.

I think only Leyton Orient and Hartlepool have outplayed us on the day in the league.

We are very frustrating though with all the draws. We have a habit of scoring first and not been able to finish teams off, and then the inevitable equaliser coming. I think we are still nearly top of the XG table, but as we all know that means nothing in terms of where you are in the actual league table.

We are limping onto the January window when hopefully Adams can improve the squad and have a better second half of the season.

Get your money on a 1-1 draw on Saturday mate

Didn't go, but the impression was that you were very clinical with the chances you had, all 4 on target went in while Rovers barely had one chance of note. Expecting a close game but nothing like the comfy ride that you had on your home turf. If Smith and Drinan are starting then we'll probably need to score two to get something from the game.

Our win at Stevenage shouldn’t mask how shite we are. They had a pathetic afternoon, we didn’t play well (as usual), scored from a set piece and penalty. We’re still woefully clueless in the final third, so much so that as strikers we’re now playing an 18yr old who looks no where near ready for L2 football and a midfielder who up until 18 months ago was a dodgy centre back with a shit first touch.

I think we’ve scored 1 goal in 6 home games or something like that. We’re pathetic, so if Bradford can get a goal and then not even defend well, just avoid scoring an own goal or hacking someone down to give away a penalties, they’ll win.

Cook out, Vernham out, Eisa out, Canavan out... The only positive of Canavan missing (ignoring the fact we almost never win when he’s absent) is we’ll probably go to a back four which would mean Cooke starts again at last in midfield, Angol and Theo Robinson up front. We’ll score one if we have some fortune, we’ll almost certainly concede a pathetic one, as above our speciality 1-1 your best bet.

I am not sure the cup game will have any bearing on Saturday's fixture. That match was a bit of an anomaly really, as we have otherwise been in good form in the last month, with three wins and a draw in the last four league games.
