So thankful our game at Morecambe is off. 2 weeks without a league game is hopefully enough to get atleast 1 or 2 1st teamers back fit, and a few of the walking wounded back to something close to 100%. Just a shame we've got a cup replay on Tuesday, but I wouldn't risk anyone in that, play the kids.

Two out of form teams, could well be a draw.
A bit misleading, we aren't getting results because we're a bit short against the other top end clubs rather than playing badly. Hoping Bostock is close to being fit and that new signing Gosling can start and play an hour as our midfield is patched up and not able to command the pitch, which as we're all about possession is killing us. We're not creating enough for the strikers or covering the defence.
Jones on international duty and on five bookings which is a loss.
On the upside Lewis Macari, grandson of Lou Macari on loan from Stoke is looking rock solid and a division above L2 after only five first team starts at right back.

Got no choice but to play the first team, several of the fringe players are injured(Holicek, Lunt) and the U18s have a game on Thursday in the FA Youth Cup, so I doubt we see Agius, Nolan and Robinson for more than 10 minutes each. Got to play the first team, as risky as it is. But as you say, no game until the 25th against Doncaster. Play the kids next Tuesday against Newcastle.

It feels weird having clear weeks between league games. You get used to playing every single Tuesday in the Conference.

We’re unbeaten at home (7 games) this season, but every single team that’s come here has set up to take a point (possible exception of Wrexham who shut up shop after their early goal). It’s been tedious viewing, but Crawley would be well advised to do the same and I’m presuming their manager has done his homework. I’m going 0-0 again.

Sacked our manager and won the next league game against a team in form and in play-offs. New manager bounce for a change for us.

Your new manager bounce could bounce our hapless manager out of the door. Problem is that Troy Deeney would probably take over, so not sure how much would change.

A defeat would be a nightmare for us, would cut the bottom 3 adrift and mean we’re relying on Tranmere to be worse then us over a long period, which judging by yesterday is unlikely to be the case.

Can't see us getting anything against Notts. Right now I'd very happily take a 0-0 like LS posted.

Telford is in form and will be aching to get several goals against Crawley. Every player they off loaded seems to score against them

I know these threads pre match are usually we’re shit, no we’re shitter, but I’m far less confident about this than I would have been a couple of weeks ago. We generally don’t do very well with big away followings either.

Let’s hope the lino on that side is kind to us.

Sorry no league match this weekend because we have to lose to Chesham United in an FA Cup qualifying round replay.

MK away postponed due to their international call ups. This means that Ali Al Hamadi will be available for the rescheduled match.

A nice chance to make it five wins in a row for Mansfield against a Newport side that look out of form, other than the win at Gillingham.

No, every player seems to score against us.

Our defence is like one of those thinks filled with holes.....

We need to score 2-3 goals to win. I doubt we will

I am bored of seeing the usual "we're shit, no we're shitter" pre-match comments especially when your team is near the top or worst still unbeaten in the league against someone inferior. It's embarrassing.

Obviously a few weeks back it would be a stroll but the home side but even with the injury decimation if Bostock plays we win, even if he doesn't we don't lose.

Sounds like they’re buggered with injuries and couldn’t field a full bench saturday, so sounds like they’re being hobbled by their injury problems - something we’re only too aware of.
