Important game for us today, have a feeling that if we lose our manager might be presented with a P45 before going home for his tea.

The presentation would probably take place in the Carol Embrey suite, with only guests paying for a hospitality package allowed in to watch.

We’ve got 3 big players, if anything we’re a bit short on height. 2 centre halves and Smith upfront. Other than that Kizzi only physicality. Our line up fitness permitting will include Beautyman, Coley, Gape all small. Potentially Jackson too who is also a little un. Our keeper on small side for that position too. Pitch starting to deteriorate for the first time since it was dug up so not sure how much on the deck football will be played today - it’ll be very wet. 3 points would be huge for our season and I’d start to get a bit bullish on survival - I think we’ve potentially got a far better side than last season but we need the results to reflect that over the season.
Thanks, it was something that Adkins said in one of the pre-match interviews that gave me the (wrong) impression that you were a team of big guys. Had Luke Norris stayed fit, I'd have fancied us getting something, but now attack-wise we've got Dennis, who only seems effective in a front two and none of our other forwards can do the Norris job. So maybe a 4411 with Jennings or Morris just behind the Dennis.

Noting what you say about the weather, any risk of the game being called off?

I’m currently looking at the pitch. It does seem ok, but there’s never any cast iron guarantees in life.

As for the game, it does feel massive. Feeling a bit nervous tbh.

I once saw Dennis Wise score with his bollocks against Man Utd at Old Trafford. Low, hard ball across the goal area and Wise manfully thrust out his groin to hump it into the back of the net from a yard out. He has 3 kids now so no lasting damage.
No lasting damage except that he has three kids now.

Thoughts? Personally, whilst I understand the frustration from Wrexham at their fans getting charged more, I do understand if not agree with Andy Holt's response that policing and stewarding costs dictate a rise in prices. Wrexham trying to point score by dropping prices for the return fixture feels petty in my mind. Would be nice if we all had rich owners who could absorb £12m in losses in 2-3 years and still be finally stable.

Throwback to losing 5-0 on the opening day during the Sven era. Jim O’Brien starting, briefly with us under Hopkin when we played the best football in years with him in the side but only for about four weeks (either side we were abysmal), the season we were relegated from L1.

The last time I watched Bradford play on TV it had me questioning if I actually liked football anymore

I hope it's better now under Alexander

Half chance there for Bradford.

County playing in a style similar to us - but successfully!

Watching on tele cos I’m away, great counter attack that just when it was getting more even. We look a miles better team with Bostock back.

Not sure what Alexander’s playing at having already faced us this season. Anyone can get at us with a press and physicality, but this ‘pass your way through a static 4-4-2 line’ is exactly what we want.

What the hell did Bradford do over the summer? A shadow of the team they were last season.

First time I’ve seen this Crowley for Notts. Looks a player he does

He’s been superb, no idea what he’s doing at this level really. Think it’s a bit like Bostock in a mercurial, maybe a bit awkward massive talent finding a home where the freedom to go out and play suits him.

The Bradford number 4 looks like a 48 year old “play a game for your club” competition winner.

Let’s be fair they are playing against a top 7 side, but Bradford are absolutely atrocious.

So much season ticket revenue wasted.

I usually like Holt but I don't like what he's done here. Unless he provides transparency of the figures then I refuse to believe that Accrington aren't making more money off this. Even so, regardless of that it sets a dangerous precedent. Additional police costs shouldn't be taken on by away fans who pay loads already for travel and tickets. I'm surprised Holt is palming these costs onto Wrexham fans, he's always struck me as someone who had the best interests of the people at heart but I guess that's not the case.
