Bradford are absolutely desperate for him to fail already though so Alexander will get all the flack for this

I don’t know how a club with that revenue/budget can go from a half decent not perfect but effective team to this in the space of 6 months.

The recruitment from Hughes over the summer must have been utterly abysmal. They look terrible.

League two was shite last year wasn't it
So much stronger this season. 22/23 Stevenage, Northampton and Carlise would not be getting out of this division this season. Orient would still be up there but not the other three.

That centre back though :ffs: To go from Critchlow to that over a summer. What the fuck was Hughes doing? Total sabotage job by the looks of it.

Feel a bit for Bradford fans. We’ve all been there at an away game where you feel like going home at half time.

Impressed by us doing one of the few things I’ve always criticised LW’s team for not managing and reacting to a team deciding to step up and press us by simply playing two beautiful but quick and direct passing moves into the space they were now leaving, rather than taking more and more risks to just keep possession.

This Notts County team is the type of team we would have beaten last season the way they play. Not easily but comfortably.

A rigid, flat, 4-4-2 away from home against a team who like to dominate possession?

I always find comfortable, easy. Aren't they pretty much the same thing?

Bradford are awful and have a defensive dour maestro in charge. I feel sorry for them but when you think of the stadium, the crowds home and away, the season ticket sales the finances that brings its actually funny.

Now who's this Langstaff fella, looks decent?

A lot of our fans over social media wanting 4-4-2 for some reason. Still stuck in the past playing their Super Nintendo and glugging on Panda Pop.

What're we saying for final score? Going for 6-0.

looking at that 1st half and the goals conceded last week Bradford are desperate for an upgrade to the left side of defence.

As I said when he was appointed, Alexander was a really poor appointment. Not sure what Bradford were thinking.

Maybe so but the division as a whole is stronger. We've improved our squad and have gone from finishing 11th to find ourselves in 21st currently. Loads more teams chucking money at it so it's not really a surprise. You did well to capitalise on a weak season but like I said, going out what I saw of you last season, you wouldn't have got near this season.

Cook has been an effective goalscorer at this level and the one below but one thing that frustrated me when we had him was the delaying of his shooting and refusing to lay the ball off to someone else in a good position. Prime example there just after Bradford scored.

For me easy is where you don’t even have to be on it, run, work hard etc and just win easy by being far too good.

Comfortable is where you still work your bollocks off and it’s still tough, but you get into a position where you win comfortably.

We seemed to do well against the teams that liked to play expansive possession football last season in L2.

Yep, agreed. I guess someone that slow doesn't score that many goals being selfless.

Maybe it is, and I’m not saying we would have got anywhere. We shouldn’t have really last season with our resources, but Barrow, Crewe and Morecambe are currently occupying playoff places.

One thing that I have noticed this season, is League 1 is a hell of a lot stronger than it was when were last in it 9 years ago. A hell of a lot. The gulf between L2 and L1 is far bigger than I expected. Eye opener.

Fair point on Barrow, Crewe and Morecambe, we'll never know and like i said I'm only going off our matches and your playoff games last season and the fact that you were quite similar to us in some ways.

And yep L1 looks horrific nowadays, Lincoln fan at work is always banging on about that. You not confident of turning things around, then?
