Looking forward to going The Valley again. Probably my favourite away trip last season even if the football from Vale at least was substandard that day. At least this time there's no Rak-Sakyi for them to tear our left side a new one. Charlton rightly favourites as they've got some really good players and there'll no doubt be a backlash from them after losing midweek. Hopefully we can show the same level of commitment and organisation in the Reading and Blackpool games and that will always give you a chance doing that.

Must win for Charlton really given a relatively poor start to the season. Will be interesting to see which formation we go with considering we look shaky at the back with a 4 and don't currently have any options to play alongside May in a front 2 or on the right in a front 3. Hoping May can finally get off the mark or it is going to start getting to a point where breaking his duck is going to be looming over him and affecting his composure.

Cambridge? nah, Lincoln? what, when did that become a thing? Cobblers? of course, It's the Nene (as in Hen) derby.

Can't wait to get beat. again.

Interesting that Derby and Charlton are coming under pressure already. Derby should beat Fleetwood but with rumours Darren Moore is already in after the weekend you can see Fleetwood getting something there.

Charlton need a convincing win to ease the fans nerves and I think they’ll get it.

For us Bristol Rovers at home who have had a good start to the season. I think this will be a score draw.

We're away at Pompey where we're likely to get absolutely battered and our fans will go into even more of a meltdown over how poor our start has been.

I'd just like us to score a goal to be honest.

Going into this far more positive after two very good performances against sides who came down in the summer, the Blackpool defensive resilience particularly was pleasing after the opening day mess.

I tipped Charlton to do well with their signings but have had three really poor results so hopefully we go there a little more on the front foot and try and test their confidence and get their fans on their backs early doors.

We will likely change it up again as we manage minutes so expect Connor Grant in and Thomas up front if Ellis isn't fit still.

Tough game regardless of their form so again a draw on the road would be acceptable.

I very much doubt we will do anything different to what we did at Blackpool and that's sit off them until they come into our half then try and force the error and counter them. That seems to be Andy Crosby's preferred way of playing. Opposition fans will probably slate us for being negative as Blackpool fans were on various vlogs and social media etc but for as long as its working then keep doing it until others figure it out. Got a feeling our other loanee Kofi Balmer from Palace might come into the reckoning for this.

No but based on Tuesday night Blackett-Taylor will tear your right side a new one instead! Looked far more dangerous than Rak-Sakyi did against us last season.
I was also impressed with Dobson. If we had those 2 in our team we'd be playing in the Champ next season.

Nene Derby ( Pronounced Nen you swampy inbred fuckers). Can’t remember our last decent result in one of these. Sell out crowd, expectation, god I hope we can get one over on them.

Be interesting to see, I would like us to be more positive but if we grind out the 0-0's or 1-0's on the road I wouldn't be complaining.

Think they like a play football so probably will do the high press and try and force them to lump it like Tuesday, if we can get Chislett and Blaster to keep performing you've got a chance of causing them problems at least but we really need a striker to come in! That's all that's missing now.

M5/M6 Derby for us!

We normally do quite well at Carlisle, though we weren't great in midweek and might need to change things around a bit. Hope Nombe starts. Think we can shade it, fans to dodge the missiles at Brunton Park.

Historically Pompey have always been a charitable bunch. Not won away in 10 years, a win and clean sheet with the players who's never scored a goal in his 10 year career getting a brace! We do seen (early doors) to be made a different stuff this year, hopefully. We have a bigish squad with some very good players outside of the first 11 who have made an impact in all matches so far. Top scorer in england was on the bench on tuesday. Think Yengi made make an appearance at some point

Everyone is injured.

Our keeper is shocking, National league level at best and it shows so we'll concede at least 2 or 3.

Our defence is a shambles, Beckles and Hunt have both gone into reverse since last season, also Happe is banned for that debatable red at Wycombe on Tuesday so we're f****d at the back.

Moncur is never match fit, for some reason Galbraith and Graham aren't fully fit despite not being injured and supposedly being professional footballers, Sanders is MIA, Pratley is out, Brown is being played at RB, El Miz is our only good player and he's loanee...

We have Piggott up front and that's it - thankless task being marked by 2 defenders all game and receiving no service, that lad from Watford signed and got immediately injured so that's good.

Early days yet but so far we're looking like firm relegation candidates.

No chance away at Blackpool, get them on your acca for the weekend, 3-0.

Hard to believe we beat Derby away last season. For such a big club they have started pretty slowly. As for ourselves, the best we can hope for is a draw and I'm not holding my breath on that. The team need to look at how Port Vale responded after the 1st game and quite frankly 'man up '. I know it's easy to say but some of the players need to put in big performances A draw 1-1

Hoping for a win at Carlisle but then they’ll probably fancy their chances agains us too. Is Moxon fit to play? Hear he’s decent.

Reckon we’ll see a couple of changes at least. Hoping new signing Niskanen is eligible to be involved and would expect Nombe to come back in.

Need to use the big pitch to our advantage and pass the ball, unlike the first half on Tuesday.

2-1 City. Nombe and Aitchison for us.

All going wrong already. Scott is out for a few weeks and Niskanen is ineligible because of paperwork. Scoring might be a challenge

Really fancied us at the start of the week against Wigan but with Charles suspended and Evatt potentially not on the touchline I’m a lot a more worried now… despite our great start. Draw wouldn’t be the worst result.. if we win then we really are building some early momentum

Nice local, short journey to Carlisle. Still debating going…
Would like to fancy our chances up there, but considering Nombe is half fit, Scott is injured and Cox is hardly setting the world alight, I can’t see where any goals are coming from.

We were twice the team last season than we are at the minute too. It's difficult to put into words just how bad we have been this season, apart from a 45 minute spell against Burton, it's the worst I have ever seen from a Derby County side - I've been going for 25 years. It's just complete disarray at the moment and the mood around the club is rancid too.

I've made a little over £300 on betting against Derby this season already and will be doing the same again on Saturday.

Not sure about a battering but confidence is building in this group of players. The team hasn't quite gelled yet and Mousinho is still searching for his best 11. Still, I'll go for a 2-0 win (Robertson, Yengi)

Ugh Blackpool away, our record there is shocking and with all our injury problems at the minute we will be ideal opponents for them.

We'll lose 3 or 4+ nil, Wellens and Terry also banned from the touchline and the stands as per the new rules.

Can't wait to get this one over with so we can have a few weeks of home games and no midweek games to get players fit - 4 of our 5 games this season have been away from home (how can that happen FFS?!) against sides with miles better players than us and the home game we had wasn't much help either against a Portsmouth side alot better than us.

The last three seasons we've shared a division with Blackpool they've been promoted via the playoffs in 2001, 2007 and 2017 - in 2001 they beat us in the Division 3 playoff final 4-2 at Cardiff and our manager Richie Wellens played for Blackpool that day.

I've strangely enough never in my life seen a Derby win. If we finished 5th bottom and beat them just once at home, i'd be satisfied it was a good season.

It would be the most glorious of Saturday nights if we manage to beat Barnsley & Derby away in the space of 4 days. I'd gladly take a point though.

No idea what to expect from Burton, one of the few sides in the division to have started more poorly than us.

If I recall rightly Maamria sets his teams up to be solid, aggressive and physical, which is a good start if it works and you have the players to do it.

But that style can knacker the players out if it’s all action, all the time.

BAFC have had some tough games so far though, so they may see us as a more winnable one.

Still need to get our first win at this level since a 1-0 win over Swindon in April 2014. Our second half v Wigan gives me some encouragement though, as does the news that Exeter will have key players missing.

Lincoln City at home.

Thankfully Marko Marosi has been confirmed fine and will be available in goal this weekend in Taylor’s pre match interview after taking some studs in the face from fellow teammate Chey Dunkley. Unless the Home Office have contacted the club today or Matt Taylor is calling bluff in his pre match interview, Max Mata still hasn’t received his international clearance and once again will be unavailable, so Udoh and Bowman will start for the fourth league game running up top.

Lincoln have had a mixed start to the season. Opening day hammering at potentially future league winners Bolton isn’t much to be concerned about but it would seem that they got battered on Tuesday against potential relegation candidates Northampton and were fortunate to come away with a point despite being 2-0 up until the final five minutes.

I have to back Salop on home turf as we’ve made the Meadow is a tough place to come and pick three points from. Can see us just about edging the Imps out of this one by the single goal.

Salop 1-0 Lincoln (Perry)
