If you think our away end is bad, have you ever been to Bloomfield Road before it was redeveloped?
That was a cracker.

Actually yeah. It was miles behind the stand when i last went as they’d only done 2 of the stands up.

I mean they’ve character that’s for sure

Mansfield getting dangerously close to Lincoln levels of excuses about why they don’t travel. This is the first time I can ever remember them selling out and we only reduced the allocation last year!

Well we sold out last season for a start, which was about 5 months ago.

Try again pal

It certainly looks that way. Piss poor attempt.

Mansfield usually travel in very good numbers whoever they are playing. It's their home support that historically has been seriously lacking. Paul went for the wrong target.

Even that has improved these days, Paul should have gone for the 3 sided ground or our roof top bus attempt

Apologies pal. What about all the years before that?

Clubs like Mansfield can give plenty out but cannot take it back can they lmao.

Sad day when you get called a twat by someone like AdamStag.

About to say, some previous easy pickings.

But in days when home attendances are usually around the 7,000 mark (probable complete sell outs coming up against stockport and bradford) even that isn’t possible.

Lots of clubs have seen impressive jumps in home attendances but no more so than Mansfield. Until very very recently it was more 3000-4000 and now 6000-7000. Good work John.

Can we talk about Mansfield more please? I don't think they're getting enough attention in here.

Unsurprisingly I think Nads n Nics might be up for this one, your passing and retaining possession football might just suit us too
If we play with a high line Nadersan's pace in behind will rip us apart.

I dont know what to predict about today. We have played well in both games I've seen but the nagging doubt about how awful we were last season wont go away.

Oh the irony
Because you look a bit of dick if you don't.
Being called a dick by you is more of a compliment if I’m honest.

Anyway, expecting us to get beat this afternoon. Think Mansfield will have too quality for us still.

I do know much about Mansfield other than their owner is an old man with a trophy wife and that their Conference winners bus tour was hilarious.

Rotated our team, not surprising seeing as it's the fifth game within two weeks, only one of which has been at home. Still a decent amount of experience on the pitch though.

Good noise being made by Swindon fans. Should be a good atmosphere at the Racecourse.

Mansfield's away support has always been decent for me, but has kicked up a gear since COVID, which is probably Paul's point. Think they only ever sold out once when it was 1800 in the Osmond End though since I've been watching Town. Still cracking support last season (when they were up in the playoff spots all season).

Anyway, onto the match. Absolute banger from Eisa. Otherwise end to end stuff here. Lively start in front of a good sized crowd in the sun.

My HDMI cable isn't playing ball which is highly frustrating.
