Aye coming back up after 1 season is a remarkable achievement though you pushed your luck in the playoffs (though guess you have to).

When you see sides down there for the time they have, wrexham are 12 years now i think, i’m not sure i’d have the will to go on being in that thing for that length of time, the pros of being in the conference after more than 1 season are few and far between.
Oh yeah you won't catch me denying the huge slices of fortune we had not once, not twice but three times. You've gotta have the balls and to go and do that though and Hurst took McAtee off in every match before the job was done in favour of slinging the ball into the mixer and it worked every time.

Was saying to a mate just yesterday that the Notts match has gone under the radar a bit due to the final and the Wrexham chaos. But we were 96mins into a one legged playoff match away from home and into time added onto injury time when we drew level. I wasn't even at the match because I couldn't get a ticket and I don't think I've ever gone as sick as I did following town as I did with that goal and that includes being at the Wrexham match.

Once in a lifetime shit for sure.

Is there Hartlepools Bradford BEEF or something?

Some of our scumbag fans jumped a Hartlepool steward I think. We have some absolutely vile people who go to away games. Don't even go for the football, just go to get drunk and snort coke off their argos cards. Twats.

No judgement here, we're not exactly a bunch of angels ourselves. All we can do as proper fans is go and act with at least a bit of dignity.

No way FGR got to the conference without someone spunking a chunk of money (they were very much regional leagues until back to back promotions in the 90’s). No other way to explain their rise with minimal crowds, including a brand new stadium along the way. Without Vince’s money they wouldn’t have survived at Conference level. Not a chance.
My twopenneth worth re FGR.

They did has some investment and climbed up from the Hellenic and through the Southern as has been said but I can remember The Lawn and the black & white stripes. Proper non league club that rose above their station, a little, to reach the conference.

I do take umbrage at people complaining about rich owners putting funds in. Although you do get occasional teams playing above or below their level in reality the size of the budget determines the position in the pyramid. What's the difference between one person providing at and twenty?

Bunch of our divvies were chucking bricks and stones at the police and Bradford fans after the match, Cleveland police will be all over this fixture tomorrow.

Seems we both have a fair few 'divvies'. Hopefully there'll be no bother tomorrow. Last few away games I've gone to, I've had a smoke bomb pretty much let off in my face. Horrible. I've got to that ripe old age where I think I'm being naughty if I'm stood for more than thirty seconds at an away game!

Btw any Bradford lot who used the Millhouse for parking last season, there’s roadworks on that road on the entrance to the leisure centre, it was hectic getting out on Tuesday, fair warning!

I love the fact you are now claiming not to be lazy because someone else is driving you to a football game while you are probably having a snooze in the back seat

they weren’t, from what i recall they dodged relegation once due to another club going under/being docked points, they were a very mid table side
More than once, every year they seemed winners of what was called the 'AGM Cup', getting reprieved each season for one reason or another. All whilst their head honcho Colin Peake was also in charge of the Conference... bit like how recent Covid funding massively favoured Dover, whose chairman was coincidentally in charge of the NL and fought tooth & nail against the independent enquiry ran by David Bernstein. It's all just a little self-interest club, like the Premier League but with greengrocers instead of billionaires. As if dropping into non-League wasn't bad enough on its own.

They make it up as they go along.

- This at 1.15 far worse and overturned.
No it wasn’t, it’s soft just like that of your players the only difference is Gunter reacted to the Mansfield players push, I have no idea why your player did what he did

Could do with a Timi disasterclass tomorrow!

Odusina is yet to feature for us. Injured in pre season, subs bench a couple of times without being needed. Didn't even make the subs bench on Tuesday
