I will be providing snacks and helpful driving tips from the back seat actually
Good for you, any Real Ale pubs going to feature on either journey, or will it be straight there and back?

What snacks have you purchased, packets of Monster Munch and Wokkels?

No beef between us and Bratfud, I've had a soft spot for them since I was a lad and they had Carbone in the Prem. They have loads of fans as well, they may only be paying £1.50 a season but there are loads of them and and another reason is that the way they went on about Odusina was clearly one of the biggest signings in their history and for such a small-insignificant-club-with-fans-paying-full-prices like ours it was really quite the compliment.

Still Yorkshire bastards though.

I’m not a real ale drinker I’m afraid, and we’re about an hour away. Snacks wise I got a lovely pastry selection from Asda, that combined with the 4 tins I’ve got have made it quite the continental breakfast

I suppose coming from Northampton you buy beers that are made in that huge Lager Plant in the town; they produce loads of fizzy stuff under various names, even Continental style Pils (with a silent L).

Yeah they dominate in the pubs round here. Change the label every now and then and think up a new name (Angelo Poretti for example) and we’re all none the wiser

Today seems like the perfect time for his debut :cool1:

I think I’m correct in saying Timi is left-footed? The reason why he won’t have much game time this season is because of Romoney Critchlow - the lad just oozes quality.

Critchlow, like Timi, is left-footed. If Timi was right-footed, I think Hughes would’ve dropped Platt and on comes little Timi.

Big game for the ‘Pool today. They might manage 3,000.

Don’t mind em though. When I think Hartlepool I think Andy Monkhouse.

Nah Timi is right footed AFAIK.

I know you were just being a tinker but we'll be lucky to push 4500 home fans today, shite start and it's probably easier to get into Fort Knox than get a matchday ticket at Pools, cashless stadium, queues for tickets out the wazoo on a matchday, if you were only a semi interested spectator they put up every single roadblock they can to halt you from getting in, people just don't bother.

Spot on, As far as i,m concearned pools are cashless meaning they are not getting my cash.
Just stupid goings on, With what i think is a total disregard for GENUINE FANS.

If i was to go to the club shop (which i am NOW not) would i be able to pay with cash.

Would ask that question to the club but they are now that big that they don,t bother to answer
Emails from FANS.
Yes Chandy your a TWAT.

He is aye, can't stand the little prick.

Pools and communication just don't mix and making it all cashless is bonkers. Every club in L2 needs to attract the floating voter whereas we seem desperate to go back to the crowds in the 1980s

Back to what I think is our strongest XI - taking into account injuries.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Matty Platt
CB: Romoney Critchlow
LB: Liam Ridehalgh

CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Alex Gilliead

RW: Scott Banks
CAM: Harry Chapman
LW: Lee Angol

ST: Andy Cook

Up the fucking chickens!

We've gone for the same turgid line up as usual, meaning I'll have to watch Jake Hastie for an hour and a half again.

Roll on 76% possession, 1 Hartlepool shot on target and a 1-0 loss :brill:

The bookies have us as huge outsiders today. No team in the league has longer odds for a win today than we do. Looking at the odds you’d think we were a conference team going to the Emirates in the FA Cup.

I guess the bookies know their stuff, they know what a depleted weak team we are.

Liam Ridehalgh has to be the worst left back we've ever had. I liked him last season, but he's gone this season. Like a fan who's won a place in the team.

Scott Banks looks very dangerous and is giving us the runaround.

Not a bad watch so far we do look slightly better going forward but still not creating much, just poor final balls. Bradford had the better of the chances and should be in the lead.

An absolutely woeful first half from us. Hartlepool the better side. We're very, very poor in both boxes. I can't remember a City team being so bad at set pieces. Scott Banks is knocking out corners for throw-ins. Smallwood is either unfit or just naff - Hartlepool running rings around him. Wish he'd cut out all these garbage long passes and keep it simple. I stuck up for Ridehalgh last season but really regret it now. He's got beaten every single time. Keeps losing his runner. Every time he's in possession he just hits it long and aimlessly. Harry Chapman has talent but seemingly cannot be arsed. Speaking of being lazy, is there a particular reason why we really never seem to press? Hartlepool has been great in that respect. If their passing in the final third was a little better we'd be losing. Cooke being Cooke and passing it instead of smashing it into the back of the net. His decision-making really lets him down. If the game continues the way it has then I fancy Hartlepool to go on and nick it.

People will call me pessimistic, but I'm really worried. This team, at the moment, looks like a lower half side.
