We've been slightly lucky winners in two games, but fully deserved to beat Crewe. Donny have been a real bogey team for us over recent years (W1-D4-L6) but we look to be playing them at the right time.

It would be great if Robertson can shake off his ankle knock before Saturday, as we've not conceded yet. Still haven't seen Joe Morrell so hopefully he'll get a run out.

Cambridge away. Last time we played at the abbey we clinched the title with 3200 away fans. Great day out and a smashing club with a very gracious set of fans.
be happy with a point on Saturday. I reckon a 1-1 draw.

How many will you bring Saturday? I remember that day and our chairman said in his notes the following season we looked to model our club based on yours and what you had achieved. Looking forward to Saturday, another draw for us I feel too. 1-1.

Our following can be pathetic moving up to reasonable depending where in the uk. Cambridge is about 2 hours so no excuse for Gillingham style numbers ( we take 150 approx to Kent).
i would estimate about 300-400 as it’s closer.

You’ve only got to score, calling us toothless would actually be a compliment

No way you'll have 300 at Cambridge.
I reckon 242.

Surprised at that really. Given you've won your first three games I was expecting you to bring 500 minimum.

Perhaps. I don’t do many away games but I am going Saturday so maybe more might think the same. Our away following is erratic. We have took 130 to Cardiff on a Saturday and 600 to Blackpool on a Tuesday night so there is no consistency with it.
We are a still a small club when all is said and done, the town is still full of derby and Man U / Liverpool fans, after been non league for most of our existence, it takes ages for the hangers on ( turn out for 1 game a season ) to actually go on a regular basis.
this is the issue with clubs like forest green and Salford- you can’t invent a fan base.

Away to Fleetwood.

God knows how they're playing, but the fact they've lost all 3 league games means we should go up there hoping to nick something.

Rotherham away, can’t be any worse than we were in this fixture last season.

Weve not got the best of records against them recently but scored some late late goals in our last few visits there, wouldn’t mind another tomorrow!

Accrington at home. Going to be a very tough game, they always are vs Accrington. Hoping things have got better with illness within the squad as we were down to bare bones vs Oxford. This games all about 3 points for us after no wins yet and 3 pretty poor performances. Dont care how we win just as long as we do win. I think its going to take a while before we see any free flowing football performances.

Plymouth at home for us.

After naming 2 GK’s & 2 youth teamers on the bench in the last two games, we’ve probably been the most desperate club in the FL for signings this week. Finally we got one over the line today and he might even start this weekend, I hope so anyway.

I’m highly confident that we won’t be in a relegation battle come the end of the season despite our shambolic start. We’ve got the quality we’re just so short on numbers and playing catch up to other teams after a piss poor pre season where we only played 3 friendlies.

I’ve got a good feeling that we’ll get our first points on the board on Saturday and hopefully it’ll become the start of our season and a move upwards in the table.

Salop 2-0 Plymouth (Cosgrove x2) 6240 (1080 Argyle)

Donny away. Be interesting to see how we fare with the away trip. Fleetwood away was awful. The coach took 9 1/2 hours to get there, which resulted in Shaun Williams aggrevating a back injury and us looking knackered. Hopefully the journey is kind, Robertson and Harness get over the knocks from Tuesday. We've generally done poorly v Doncaster. Marquis used to run us ragged, now we have him, he's been anonymous is every game versus them!! If we play like we did vs Crewe, then I think it'll be a decent win. If we play like we did first half v Fleetwood then its going to be tough to get a result. Battle of the ex players. Marquis v Ben Close and Omar Bogle

9.5 hours ? Where did he go, via Cardiff ?
Maybe it is the coach driver they used in Mike Bassett when the team did their victory parade tour and took them out onto the dual carriageway..

Ipswich away. FFS we haven't had the easiest start to the season, Bolton, Sunderland, Charlton and now Ipswich. Coupled with losing our manager I'm not going to complain at 4 points from the first 3 matches. However I'm hoping Ipswich don't decide Saturday is the day they gel though or we could be in for a torrid time. They have too many good players for their poor start to last much longer.

I'd happily take a point now.

Believe it or not we have been playing some good football, lacking more experience in the team and only turning up for 45 minutes in all 3 matches. Sooner or later we will find the right balance and no reason for it not to start tomorrow. 2-1 to the Cods

No defenders on the bench for us.

Few changes; Dunkley for the injured Hutchinson, Luongo for Byers, Paterson in for Johnson, Brown for Adeniran and Kamberi in for Gregory. Not confident particularly with the front 3 and Dunkley is a much worse passer than Hutch.

Apparently just shear volume of traffic and roadworks.

We have been the better side so far this half so guaranteed to get beat. We’ve lost our Captain to injury too, just what we don’t need

Get in! That feels like a massive win already even this early on. Peacock-Farrells penalty save right on half time was a big moment. Quality save too, he was outstanding today as was Iorfa at centre half.

It wasn’t a great performance but one thing with this team is if things aren’t going their way they’ll scrap for it, something that we haven’t had for about 5 years.

2 guilt edged chances in the 50th and 52nd minute to make it 2. One deflected wide and another striking the inside of the post. Very watchable game but we need to finish them off now. Very much on top, playing some excellent stuff.

Hladky having a nightmare there. 1-1. What a let off for MK.

Hopefully unlike recent weeks we can carry on playing how we were before the equalizer.

Yes we blew that one.
One of the best penalty saves I've seen changed the game.
The first goal was offside twice and we were just getting back on top when first Wiles got caught in possession and then the goalkeeper somehow let it slip from his grasp for a tap in.

It was just one of those days for us with Ogbene having to go off when he was getting a lot of joy down Wednesday's left flank.

But Wednesday are a totally different team to last season's, very strong at the back, strong tackles going on in midfield and won without actually playing that well.
I don't like it.

Our game looks an even game on the stats. We looked really good last 20 mins before half time then Oxford started to dominate second half but we’ve scored against the run of play. We are so open defensively this season it’s scary but we look fantastic going forward. Not sure my heart can take it all season. We definitely seem pretty competitive this season though. I was a bit worried before the season started with how we started last season.
