Think I will give it a miss, don't want to have nightmares!
This is the first time I've actually wanted to see us on it for ages. I usually shut my eyes, stick my fingers in my ears and sing lalala very loudly for the few seconds we are usually shown.

So, what are my thoughts on today? Well, I don't have any (I'm sure some of you will be delighted to hear it). Purchased the game 15 minutes late and had no comms until the 35th minute. Then for the entire second half I felt like I had entered a 45 minute "Guess Where the Ball Is" competition, knowing full well there wasn't a prize. Commentators who arrived late also couldn't see fuck all.

Concerning gap now opened between ourselves and the top two. With our January power buys I have no doubt we will win the majority of our 19 games (i.e 12-14 or so) - I have major concerns however that both Wednesday and Plymouth will to, though... where are they going to drop that many points?. Derby and Barnsley also look like making this a five horse race for two spots - to a lesser extent Bolton but I don't see them challenging realistically.

Wednesday at home early Feb will likely decide if we contend the autos or enter the playoff lottery.

Still see us putting a prolonged run of wins together, but without them two dropping points, it doesn't matter.
As someone who was there, let me help you with some of the details.

We won. Ipswich were very boring. The end.

There you go BarrieOwl ;)

We were 4th in the form table after beating Shrewsbury on 29th December. We're now 2nd bottom.

Considering comparitable budgets I think we're doing okay.

Sounds like we gave it a go against Plymouth, without really worrying them.

Thank the Lord there are teams determined to go down ahead of us this season though.
Definitely worried us a little at 2-1 and 3-2.

We weren’t great today, our passing was off yet we showed the clinical side of our game when we had to. Callum Wright is easy on the eye, and Jay Matete is exactly what we needed in midfield.

Cheltenham surprised me, you came and had a real go. Did well to not let the game run away from you after conceding 2 in 2 minutes, and your pressing forced us into mistakes.

Anyone else heard of the rule that if a game is abandoned after 75 minutes the result stands? Never heard of that one or recall it happening?

I assume the EFL will be stepping in after Oxford’s victory, extending bans and points deductions to both Kieran McKenna and Ipswich respectively.

McKenna came out in the press to say that Karl Robinson’s tactics caught him off guard and Ipswich were unable to respond.

Karl Robinson has never outwitted anyone, ever and as a result our owners will be convinced that Karl Robinson is capable of a tactical masterclass.m when in reality he should have been sacked months ago.

Unless McKenna had the sniffles and didn’t have time this week to work on beating Oxford (which frankly shouldn’t have taken more than 15 minutes at around 2:45 pm this afternoon to prepare), he should be banned and Ipswich docked points rendering them to League One mediocrity for the next five seasons.

Frustrating for all parties. Except Karl Robinson.

Onwards to Wycombe on Tuesday.

Yes, I actually played in a non-league fixture a few years back! There was a power cut on 77 minutes and all the floodlights went out (genuinely!).

Won the game 2-1.

Oh, I didn’t know that, the Gas fans will of course cherish the memory of the time we got our home game Vs them called off due to lightning (and nothing to do with them tonking us at the time) but apparently that was on 65 mins…

No surprise at Hillsborough, Owls missing a penalty in in last minute of extra time means Fleetwood have still lost every game by the odd goal, no consolation. For a team at the lower end of the table our goal average compared to those around us is very good. Thankfully some of those below us struggling, long way to go which gives hope to everyone

Still confident we’ll put a winning run together but my god we’ve imploded results wise. Definitely have not had our fair share of luck in some fine margin moments but there’s no shying away from the fact we’ve been poor. I just wish our fan base didn’t come across so painfully cocky and arrogant. The overreactions both for good and bad moments are pretty embarrassing from our lot.
Credit to wendies and argyle for grinding out wins, Morecambe/Cambridge in the league next before Wednesday come to PR.
do you do anything other than slag off our fanbase? The arrogance is a minority. Every club has their share of tits

The thing is, it's ok doing it against the likes of Plymouth and Derby, we need to start doing it to the teams around us. Our worst performances have been against Burton and FGR.

If we turn up with these performances against the teams around us then we'll be fine.

It's ok though, we've only got Sheffield Weds on Tuesday...

A good win for us, shame to concede late on but all things considered a very controlled performance against a team we’re likely to come up against in the playoffs. Worried when the news came out that Cashin and Sibley were injured for the game, especially with how thin our squad is, but Roberts and Davies came in and did well.

Jason Knight being fit has given our midfield a huge lift, Bird and Hourihane have stepped it up. McGoldrick truly is a fine wine, he plays the game at 35 how I expected 35 year old Rooney to play - but he’s so much better it’s stupid. Struggles to play every game but when he does it’s a huge boost.

We’ve got into range of Ipswich but Wednesday and Plymouth are showing absolutely no let up at all.
