Tough game against Orient, their home record is decent. They have only played once in 6 weeks I think so hopefully they are a bit rusty and we can take advantage of that. Need to come out the traps fast and test that.

Looks like Conlon could be out for a while which is a huge blow but DJ is back from suspension and feel like we have missed him at the back with his quality bringing the ball out and passing.

Was a real humdinger at Vale Park and a memorable ending, guess they will want to avenge that, draw would stop the rot but we do have good away form so hopefully we can grind out a win, just need something to drop for us which hasn't been happening in recent weeks.

If we play like we did against Salford and be clinical we have a chance, if we play as we did against Swindon we wont get anything.

1-1 James Wilson

Was that from Hobin?

What happened to getting our business done early, suppose if Carver and Hull are it then brief fulfilled!

Yes it was Hobin, answering questions during the Carlisle game. “Judge the business at the end of the transfer window, not with two weeks left”

We used to batter Barrow in the NL but they pretty comfortably beat us all three times since they returned to the FL. Hope I’m just being unnecessarily pessimistic but I was more confident of coming away with something pre-fog at FGR than Saturday.

Be interesting if Clough plays Akins straight away, be incredibly harsh to drop anyone at the moment.

I'm certain that won't come back to haunt him!

Big blow for us as Craig Clay has had an operation on a long standing knee injury, meaning he is out for the rest of the season. Will be a big miss, he's really stepped up to the plate this season when it was expected he'd be a backup player. Means we've really got to get another central midfielder or two in now because Darren Pratley is slowing down, Callum Reilly hasn't even played properly for us since signing due to injury so has been a waste and Hector Kyprianou is young and still got alot to learn.

I'd expect us to probably labour a bit at some point in the game tomorrow, our home record has been good but we've struggled to hold narrow leads as our squad overall is quite young. Any momentum we did have is long gone, but we've been missing chances alot when we have played.

Not really confident of doing anything now this season, 5 games in hand and a busy 3 months, no team with a fixture pile up ever dones anything and its not as if we've been any good away from home result wise to expect us to win games, even if most of the performances have been generally quite encouraging.

I've always wondered if Paul Cox turned up to his Barrow interview in the Aston Martin or whatever he was given after you murdered us that time.

Crawley v Tranmere could be a good game. I'm looking forward to it.

Shite show on Tuesday needs redeeming but we tend to do better against the better teams so here's hoping.

Would like to see Francillette back at centre half if for no other reason than it allows Francomb to go back to midfield where his energy and running make us look a better side.

Should be a decent game tomorrow, Carlisle certainly seem to have got their house in order of late...one of the form sides in the division...fingers crossed the fog holds off!

Declan Bourne referee for Vale tomorrow... Yay!

Bizarrely gave Sutton a free kick for a foul on our man which led to their winner in the 84th minute.

A terrible fixture for us to try and fix the wheels back on the wagon. Orient will be looking to avenge the reverse fixture and they have a pretty decent home record.

Would take a draw all day, but honestly I think we'll lose again.

Think he went back to Radford and asked for the Range Rover instead so he can do the school run, so ended up with that instead

Dodgy Paul hasn't hit the same heights since. Wonder if he's still taking a cut of the fee if he sells any of his Kettering players.

IIRC you put about 19 past us in the space of three games.

We've got quite a few injuries and players suffering from Covid according to Keith Hill.

If youve seen us and think we're terrible, imagine what our backups are like

:pmsl:Honestly it won't be entertaining from a Carlisle point of view. The 'form team' thing doesn't really tell the whole story. Yes we've had some clean sheets recently, but mainly against teams on a real off day, we've been very fortunate that way in recent games. Attacking wise we offer nothing and will barely swing a punch tomorrow.

I'd take 0-0 right now, but even with our improved defensive displays I can't see us keeping the league leaders out. We won't score, unless FGR are 4-0 up and decide to gift us a goal.

We're going through our usual mid season slump. We NEVER do well in December or January but hopefully we have got a bad patch out of the way and things will improve.

I'm getting the train at 8.50 tomorrow morning, meeting a mate in central London, a few beers and then head over to Brisbane Road - can't wait!

Leyton Orient were pummelling teams at home earlier in the season and they looked big and strong. Looks like a couple of injuries are holding them back and you would have thought they would be a bit rusty with so little football in the past 6 weeks. Having said that, we have been pretty poor recently (although we should have beat Salford 3 or 4-1 the other night). We're just having one of those periods where nothing is going right for us - sending offs, penalties, injuries, shots blocked, penalties not awarded (we still haven't had a penalty this season and we were denied a stonewall one the other night). Surely we'll get a bit of luck at some point.

The enforced break enabled us to get some players back from injury but it's also put us back to what we were like at the beginning of the season - back to square one a bit and trying to integrate new players into the team.

I can't see us getting anything tomorrow, so would be delighted with a point.

Surprised to see Orient only in 13th, they are one of the best sides that I've seen this season even though we managed to get a point.

Harry Smith is probably the player I've been most impressed with this year, he was a real handful.

Think they'll make a late push for the play offs.

Not played in the league for nearly 6 weeks which is why we're now 13th

That game at your place was typical of us away from home this season - Failed to see out a narrow lead after playing well and got punished for it.

Looking at 14,000+ tomorrow for the visit of BRovers. Should be a great atmosphere and high levels of abuse!

Many thanks to the Gasheads in helping us knock another £50k off Power’s legacy debt!

Feel like a bit of a broken record at the minute, we have had a handful of fixtures recently that you would look at favourably on paper to come away with a chance of 3 points.

Not that it has actually worked out that way, hopefully tomorrow can be different.

No mistake about it we are 100% in relegation form, only thing stopping that being the case (currently) is the early points on the board. We need a win to stop the free fall.

A couple of crackers from John Yems in his pre-match interview.

'We can't afford the fruit and veg market, let alone the loan market.'

'Tom Nicholls has had more positions than Mary Millington.'

You might have to explain who she was - to anyone under 40 or 50....

That’s a stunning attendance for L2 football.

You’re only here for the Rovers :P

our biggest fan in the USA passed away.

Marvin Lee Aday, RIP.
Sad news. We had a fan pass away this week, Sam Richardson, aged just 29.
As a result there will be a minutes applause in the 29th minute in case Walsall fans are wondering why.

I'm very wary, Scunthorpe are a major banana skin and discovering they haven't beaten us in the current era only adds to that. They are right up against it having sold their best striker and losing a regular midfielder to a spitting ban and unless they get their arses in gear very soon they are going down. I'd take a draw.

The only possible chance we have is if you just do not show up at all and your players don't fancy it. We may get a scrappy 0-0 if that happens.

If your players even slightly fancy it, you will rip us to shreds.
