Not only religious types but nature lovers too.

It's only cos they're pretty they get away with it. They are an invasive species just like Budelia and bunny rabbits. Exterminate...but they're pretty so we won't.

Given Tranmere's GF and GA, are they a really boring side to watch?

Defensively, to only to have conceded 15 at this point of the season is obviously impressive (and I love a good, solid defence as much as everyone else where it feels like you'll rarely concede) but 28 goals scored?

Is the lack of goal scoring down to poor attacking options, lack of chances, a defensive way of playing, risk averse etc?

Played them three times this season. Lost two of the games 0-1 can't remember the third. I was asleep.

They are very solid. Clark, at the back, organises everything (including the refs when he can) but they don't have midfielders running beyond the strikers or flying wingers so they are definitely not exciting.

They wouldn't challenge the top of league one but they should stay up. The problem they will have is their two best players are veterans. Replacing them will be tricky.

I normally charge for a scouting report or an assessment but I'm feeling generous today.

Peter Clarke organises the ball boys at home games. Tells them how long to take giving the ball back to either sides players depending on the score. He told somebody in the crowd off for throwing the ball back to quickly. Didn't happen again.

Jay Spearing and Lee O'Connor are both defensive midfielders but the other 4 players are attacking players who will defend when needed. Our full backs will get forward when we attack but its definitely not a gung ho style of football.
As long as it works who cares.

I live just south of Richmond Park in SW London, parakeets are as common as pigeons around here. They fly up to the park in the morning in huge flocks, then go back down towards the river in the evening.

There is definitely at least one large flock of them in London, with various stories about where they might have come from as they are clearly not a native but an invasive species...one theory is that the original birds escaped from a film set and, with no real predators, they have continued to thrive.

The bird I saw was a couple of years ago, when walking into town...I heard a squawk, looked up and saw a green bird fly past and into a tree that was in full leaf. I didn't see it reappear but heard it making a right old racket, it was definitely a parakeet...the only other green bird you might see in the UK is a woodpecker and it was nothing like one of them...apparently it had been sighted in several areas of the city, backing up my claim of having seen it!

I also heard they broke escaped/accidentally released by a circus as well.

Apparently there’s over 30,000 across the UK now?

They always make me smile though, they’re everywhere here at the moment

We had very poor attacking options at the beginning of the season. We were relying on two inexperienced strikers (Glatzel and Nevitt), neither of whom looked like being prolific at that stage.

However, as the season has progressed they have both improved and Glatzel was scoring regularly before his recent minor injury. We have also since added Charlie Jolley to the forward line, who has been something of a revelation since returning from a loan spell at Chester and is also scoring goals. We have also recently signed Kane Hemmings, who you would expect to score at this level.

We play with two holding midfielders, but we have got reasonable creativity in the wide areas, with Kieron Morris, Josh Hawkes and Josh McPake.

In summary, we have been defensively strong all season, but we are a better attacking side now than we were five months ago.

Formby in Liverpool has an area where red squirrels are protected from the grey squirrels. Big fence and high pitched screeching from scouse girls shouting their mates.

Where have all the Finches gone? Urban Sparrows in sharp decline. Could it be that flocks of invading birds eating the same food but that are slightly bigger have pushed them out.

Plenty of sparrows where i live. Building has ivy on it and they nest there. Proper cacophony when they hatch and start flying. Its funny watching them fight over bread. Sparrows can be feisty. Fat balls last about 30 minutes in a feeder.

Worst thing about wild parrots is if you tell them to get out of your garden they tell you to get out of your garden.
