We face a decent Lincoln side, pleased to note that if they're at all concerned with keeping a beautiful sense of symmetricality and order in their form (and let's be honest, which modern football team isn't?) then they are due a defeat next in line.

Cos that's how it works.

9th in the home form table faces 1st in the away form table.

Lincoln have Argyle's Saxon Earley on loan at LB (and Norman Late at RB) - will be good to finally see how this guy plays since he was on loan to us too, but came to us broken (doh) and made a grand total of zero apps.

Anyway, LCFC seem to be a credible outfit under Skubala and are arguably punching above their weight, so expecting a tough game here.

New manager bounce for Salop under Ainsworth? Had to be us they're playing first. we have beaten them twice there since pre season, but need a better 90 minute performance really from Blues. Been bitty lately, some good moments a lot of the ball, but often its all the gear no idea at times.

Need to start games better and be way more clinical, there aren't many excuses and i wont put any forward, we need to be better. I am expecting a tough outing regardless of Shrewsbury's league position.

Not played there in 21 years, and with the whole Hollywood factor, we’ve sold out the 1200 which is mental considering we’re about 3 days away.

Would snap your hand off for a point if you offer it to me now.

Magennis, Niskanen & Doyle will all be back, but Woods missing due to his idiotic red card on Saturday.
I’d be tempted to put Niskanen on the right, Mitchell on the left and just go for it. Attack them with pace from the outset.

Best place to park and then drink, Wrexham fans?

I'm thankfully busy on Saturday so can't watch what is likely to be another dull Charlton performance. 2 league wins in 11 and woeful away from home so I don't expect anything from the game.

Serious questions will be asked of Jones soon if things don't pick up.

Park - you can park in the uni next door bit it's £10. Island green and a few council car parks within 10min walk. One of the apps you can park in the sainsburys for a few quid.

Drink - Anywhere you want. Turf next too the ground but fills quick. Maesgwyn opposite is OK, have a singer and a few outdoor bars. Walk into town 5-10 mins walk, spoons at the top but if you keep walking towards the Parish church there's about 20 bars on one road.

Earley has hardly played for us thewwfc, he joined on deadline day, had a small back injury and I'm not sure Skubala rates him that highly either.

He's had run-outs in two the Trophy games (suspended for the third) but I'm not sure he's had minutes in a L1 game tbh. Considering we've had no spare defenders recently, it does seem weird that he isn't making the squad if he's not injured.

Plas Coch on the retail park is a good one for away fans, and is the closest pub to the away end. But as Dan said, Turf (if you can get in there), Maesgwyn is good and a decent size beer garden. Town is about 10 minutes walk and I think all council owned car parks are free to park in (this is a trial at the moment to ease congestion for parking round the vicinity of the ground). Just be wary of local restrictions in place as you would probably get clamped/fined if you're not a resident.

I wouldn't advise Island Green. I avoid that at all costs. It is owned by rogue owners where conveniently the ticket machines 'don't work' and you end up with parking fines, which is a bit shite.

The last time we played Exeter I think was in 2003. We lost 1-0 away on a Tuesday night, then we won something like 10 games in a row and got the 2nd auto promotion spot.

This week, We have Cannon suspended so I expect a massive re-shuffle. I don't mind losing games, but depends on the manner of defeat. Saturday was 1 of those, where all but the keeper should be ashamed of that performance. I'd go with this team:

Burton (GK)
Scarr
Brunt
Cleworth
Barnett
McClean
Rathbone
Dobson
James
Mullin
Bodvarrson

We play completely different away to our home games. We have a good run of something like 6 in the next 8 at home so be good to get some serious points on the board.

How is Burton for a day out on the train?

Plenty of decent boozers in Burton from my experience, got family that live around that area so sampled it quite a lot.

Loads of options as you would expect with the breweries despite it being a small town, I’m sure our resident Burton fan will be able to give you a better idea mind.

was looking at the map and, for a town famous for brewing, there's not many boozers on the way from the station to the ground.

Yeah the road between the train station and to the ground is pretty much all industrial, but it’s a small place so you’ll never be to far away from the ground.

We are a real hit and miss team ( even the hits are pretty average) . So coming to us at the moment is not a terrible shout.

A possibility Mansfield and Bristol might be off on Saturday, though i’d imagine it should make it.

Some heavy snow forecast tonight and tomorrow morning, and then temperatures down to -2/-3 each night…

Early kick off Saturday against Blackpool. Think i will wait until Evatt picks the side and if it is just Matete and Sheehan in midfield so he can put three upfront like the last two games against Walsall and Stockport it will be Haydock instead for me.

We've had a massive snow fall last night and currently still snowing. Added on to the forecast on the weekend for further snow, I wouldn't be travelling 4+ hours for a game of footy.

Rov'rum on Saturday. The return of the fat one (seriously overweight now, might be time for his doc to have words). He will always get a good reception here for getting us into the league.

It's been raining here so the game should be safe.

We could do with winning a game. Rov'rum were one one of my favourites for promotion and I still think they have a decent team so it ain't going to be easy. We're capable of being good and crap in the same game. If we can hold on during the crap part you never know.

Current state of play at Mansfield.

Given its below freezing every night between now and Saturday, it’s looking a bit bleak.

Given we’ve 3 games in hand on some tinpotters who play international weekend, we’d be wanting to get it on.

We will play in that... its the only chance we have of winning. Orange/yellow ball like the old days and jobs a good-un.

Its not even settling down here. Yeah thats the trouble pitch is then fooked. we had that in the past and nothing you can do til pre-season.

Hopefully we dont give you a pen and a sending off this time and might make a game of it. Still cant believe Cian Harries scored a wondergoal though, possibly the worst player ive seen score such a worldie...he must have shut his eyes.

A decent layer of snow is a good pitch insulator tbf

The area had plenty of snow last night but the forecast is suggesting highs of 10c and pissing it down all day Saturday, so I imagine the thinking is get the snow off before it melts to prevent the pitch flooding.

That’s what happened last season, 2nd round FA cup I think against Wrexham on a Saturday night, pitch was in no fit state but the game was forced through for tv and it never recovered. To our detriment aswell with us playing CloughBall.

The worst we’ve played by far this season was the first half against Shrewsbury after the last international break, barely string two passes together, bit worried of a repeat! Although we turned it around in the second half.
