Win is a win but we need to be better in terms of performance. Some of our ball retention needs to improve. Will take it though.
Flat performance but a welcome win. Stevenage were awful and we seemed to cruise through it. Need to be more attacking.

Shame Coley missed that sitter at the end but I'll take a point.
Another massive test on Friday at Mansfield

4-1 win for Sutton in the end. Game petered out after Scunthorpe pulled a goal back, but it was a deserved victory and I do think the score line reflected the game as a whole.

A very welcome win and a good first half.

But we cannot defend like that against 10 men and expect to get away with it. As expected, plenty of spirit and attitude has been added by Simmo, that was noticeable, but the panic stations of the last 10 minutes can’t happen in future if we’re going to win another game.

Orient down to 10 as Theo Archibald manages to pick up two yellow cards in a minute.
This moment actually made us worse. I felt pretty comfortable before theta.

It was as if the fear of not winning against 10 men took over and it was just a load of panic. Really could do with some experience in that back line.

313 Scunny fans there, I was at work so couldn’t go but we used to get that in Southern games from the London supporters alone. Now the most loyal and self proclaimed best fans of the club were outnumbered by the local lads

I did tell you you might actually win this one ;)

Terrible again, was a bit better at keeping the ball although did fuck all with it. Worst team in our history imo. Complete rebuild needed, we’re lucky we got quarter of our points in the first 4 games.

Drew 0-0 with Harrogate.
Dull 1st half totally devoid of quality, but 2nd half we could have scored at least 4. Gotts hit the inside of the post, a header was cleared off the line, Gotts hits the outside of the post and then his easiest chance he puts over the bar.
But will take 0-0 against our bogey side.

Missed a hatful of chances, hit the post twice, missed a one-on-one and and had one cleared off the line - any of them goes in and we'd be praising a good performance. Harrogate, like almost every other team, came here for a point - don't remember them having a shot on goal.

We're not a dreadful team, but getting ever more concerned we'll go down as we just can't see teams off.

At least we tried this week. Just a shame our players have no ability.

Similar from us yet again, fall behind and basically struggle to get back into the game for numerous reasons.

We looked more threatening I thought overall today and let Carlisle off the hook twice - Smith and Drinan once again missing very good chances and if we'd got the game level it may have given us some belief.

The sending off changed the game, two pointless yellows from Archibald, second one from a pointless dive.

We huffed and puffed and it wasn't until late on we rallied after Carlilse missed a few moments on the break to kill the game.

Carlilse looked like they had a plan, they made hard work of the game but had a plan with an experienced coach.

We still look desperate and in need of alot work, because we will go down.

14 games without a win - 2 of those draws and only scored in 2 of those - one of which was an own goal.

We will go down as it stands.

Draw probably a fair result.

We edged the stats with slightly more possession, a couple more shots, one more on target, a few more corners, and two decent shouts for a penalty. However, Exeter could have snatched it at the end when they put a great chance wide.

Not much to choose between the sides to be honest.

I'm convinced Exeter will get automatic promotion and have been in superb form so happy enough with a point and keeps our unbeaten run going.

Up till the last 20 minutes we managed to be even worse then last week. Came on strong at the end and should have got a point, never a foul on Morris.

Crawley knew exactly how to play us and did it very well, so fair play to them they look a decent side.

I’m not sure how I’d be doing it but I want to see a way to get Charsley into the starting lineup. When he came on seemed to add some good energy to the team. Be interested to see what he could do from the start of a game.

Was like a preseason friendly after the second goal. Extends our unbeaten run at least. Suppose if we can win at Harrogate and Colchester next up then nobody will be remembering a flat performance today.

Thought Mansfield were probably the best side I've seen this season. First to pretty much every ball, plenty of energy and commitment and I think that's all you need in League Two. Couple of stand out players, and as Conker said above, Oates gave us a tough time. Throw in one of the best managers in the league and it's no wonder why they're up there really. They won't finish in the playoffs though...because I reckon they'll crack the top three. Fantastic support too; Excellent support and noise throughout the ninety. It was nice to actually see the Bradford End open too! Think the atmosphere as a whole is better when fans are in there.

Don't think we were that bad until we got into the final third. Cook and Robinson definitely doesn't work. There's no way Daly should be starting ahead of Cooke. Daly is dire unfortunately. Not enough pace in the team either and we don't look sharp or fit enough to me. Two really tough games against Swindon and Forest Green coming up. We'll be better once Vernam and Walker come back. This season is obviously done for us.

For what it’s worth Mansfield have played much better than that this season. We clearly decided to get it out wide for Oates to chase, usually we would take more of the ball especially in midfield but did our homework. Quite a lot of fans have said on here that Mansfield are the best they have witnessed this season and that’s a great sign.

Bradford had that peak in the first half where you started to win 50/50 and create chances but a noticeable lack of quality at both ends.

Odd game at Crawley. First and last 20 minutes All FGR. The bit in the middle was shaded by Crawley but two goals when we were in top gave us the win.

Nadersan is a threat with the ball over the top. Not just to teams at this level either. If we could get decent passes behind the defenders on a regular basis we would be higher up the table.

We won today but FGR do look a decent side. They are also a strong side and have a good pattern of play. You can see why they are top. We won today but you can see why we are mid table.

Happy with the result and some of the performances.

Made hard work of that letting Tranmere back into it. Got the deserved win in the end. Some good saves from Tranmere keeper kept them in it. Still all to play for. FGR home Tuesday and then Gas at RP - big week ahead.

Our worst performance for a while but still better than pre-Shez. Actually relatively impressed with a couple of Colchester’s players - certainly better than some of the dross I’ve seen.

Not losing was the most important thing for us today though bit of a bummer Carlisle winning. We’re back to square one with both centre forwards out injured for a few weeks and it’s showed a bit in our last two performances. Still, unbeaten in 6 and very much in the pack with Orient, Stevenage, Barrow, Col U and Carlisle which isn’t something I thought we’d be saying a couple of weeks ago.

I think that’s a bloody remarkable performance from mansfield.

At a place like bradford, with a ref who gave EVERY decision to bradford it was brilliant, the man in the middle did everything possible to level things up.

Mansfield were dominate from start to finish.

Let’s see what the next few weeks provide

I hope you're on a wind up about the ref. He gave us fuck all despite Cook being dragged to the floor at every opportunity. Two of your lads could easily have seen red too.

The only thing I noted about the referee was him (rightly) booking Quinn for a late challenge in the first half but in the next 15 minutes the same thing happened to him twice and he didn’t book them.

Cook shirt was getting pulled a lot by Rawson who had him in his pocket to be fair. But Oli Hawkins gets his shirt ripped off most games and referees never give anything for that. Your comment is the first I’ve seen or heard about a red, and ultimately the referee did not affect the result so it’s time to lay down and take a deep breath :)

Tell your commo lads to stop being cringy about Hughes too, at one point they started going on about how he’s just heard Valley parade tannoy system for the first time like it’s a proud moment
