Not as many as the Bantams but plenty. Didn't think we would be unbeaten from the run of Chesterfield, Wimbledon, Barrow and Harrogate so to agree 8 points from 12 is impressive.

We are unconciving far from entertainers but it's another positive result and a clean sheet that ha sbeen demanded on here albeit against very limited opposition. A side that is clicking scores the 3 or 4 against them and wins with ease.

Conceding less than a goal a game seemed impossible after last season. Top recruitment and well done Part Time Stu.

Not sure it was even not clicking today to be honest, just a bit of wayward finishing and a fantastic performance from Belshaw (as is standard against us). We played really well.

Really should have had another 1 or 2, and certainly been 2-0 up before we conceded too poor goals again.

If we could actually defend crosses and didn't gift teams two goals a game we'd probably be top!

We did play really well but we've not been clicking for a long time as you know. Stanley and Grimsby at home we clicked.

But I don't care it's another win with a depleted team. Great work from the coaching team to make us hard to beat. Its been a long time.

As I thought, Wimbledon were very strong in most areas. The one area I think they need to look for improvement is goalkeeper. Thought he looked nervy and didn't really have any presence.

Thought Stevens was poor (he's not a great footballer but a decent striker) but Hippolyte was very good. Ryan Johnson was as I remember him...not good enough for this level. Bugiel a real handful but a poor touch at times.

You couldn't really pick out an outstanding player, but as a unit they looked really strong. That will be our toughest home game by a mile, so to come out with a win is unbelievable really.

Sounds like they played alright today, but that’s unlikely. Wimbledon have been promotion standard at home and relegation fodder away for ages now.

Decent team I thought. They gave away 3 really poor goals but we were literally begging for the final whistle.

As I say, no real outstanding players but just all of a good enough standard. Would be surprised if they're not in the mix at the end of the season.

We got away with it a bit today because everything is going for us but they'll beat a lot of the fodder away from home.

Great result and deffo rode ourluckagainst a really physical and athletic team. At 2-0 we allowed them into the game but it always feels like there were goals in it for us and we let them off a few times in the first half with poor balls in the build up.

I think the cheer at full time tells it's own story though so will gladly accept the rub of the green and move on.

Diabolical ref after a few decent ones it has to be said. Two sets of rules being played and it definitely made our afternoon abit harder. He really did not like stockley did he?!

Special mention for the referee and linesman for trying to ruin a good game. I think Wimbledon felt hard done to in the first half but a couple of times their fans moaned when there was no foul.

Second half though he lost it for both teams. The build up of to their second goal was at least 2 yards offside and then the free kick was never a foul. He completely lost his head.

He gave a ridiculous amount of free kicks against Stockley when there was nothing in it. Just a poor game.

Fair play to Stuart Maynard to deal with what is a pretty bad injury crisis and to be a quarter of the season in, sat in third.

I keep saying we aren't convincing but the stats say we are. One for the "weird brothers" to celebrate

Consistently inconsistent, 7 wins, 7 losses. Four away wins in a row with 3 home losses and 10 conceded in between.

It’s ridiculous to watch, certainly better than last year but it’s still frustrating as hell.

It might get better with an easier run of games about to kick off and some players returning from injury, but I’ve a feeling it’ll be like this all season.

That's a bit harsh. Our away performances are not relegation fodder. We are playing well enough and results will come.

Fairly routine win against a shite Tranmere. As soon as we realised that the way to beat them was to never let the ball go above waist height, it was stupidly straightforward. They're all 6 foot 3+ cloggers so once we started playing our actual game it wasn't really difficult to score past them at all. The only surprise was it took so long to seal the deal.

Decent performance against seemingly piss poor opposition. Clinging on a tad at the end was a bit ridiculous given we had apparently 24 shots on goal.

Maynard always manages to annoy me somehow and today it was taking Didzy off when it was our corner and we were having our best spell to bring on Hinchy who was shit. 2 weeks until our next league game Stuart. Also I heard his explanation for the ‘inverted’ wingbacks post match but he might as well have talking Swahili.

The inverted wingback thing makes sense and I think he was proven right with Jones and you can see the benefits to Tsaroulla on the right too - the problem he has though is that he doesn’t have anyone else on the left who can accommodate it holistically. I think Gordon’s decent but he’s clearly not as comfortable on the left as Tsaroulla is on the right and Martin/Austin haven’t looked like an answer either (I think Martin’s more of a central player and Austin is Austin)

Also a case of when you’ve watched 20 minutes of wing backs trying to repeatedly cross on their weaker foot, you’ve got to entertain the idea of swapping them for 20 minutes and by all means swap them back if it’s no better.

I think his theory is fine, the dogmatic way in which he applies it is what’s frustrating

Fair play to Donny Rovers this afternoon. The only surprise was that they didn't beat us far more comprehensively scoreline wise.

They were excellent and so fast on the break that we couldn't cope with them.

Luke Molyneux and Kyle Hurst were excellent and we couldn't handle them.

The lack of pace throughout our team and the chronic lack of support for Andy Cook has to be addressed in January, or it's playoffs at best for us.

Great atmosphere generated by both sets of fans with a crowd of over 18000.

That's because you are still influenced by last season. Every manager makes changes some work some don't. His changes and in-game management is far superior to what we are used to. His proactive for starters.

We hardly concede and you were annoyed about not having enough clean sheets and now Maynard is giving you clean sheets which let's be honest after last season appeared like mission impossible. We aren't convincing but we have lost twice. Chill.

A big comeback from the biggest club in the lower divisions and we're within touching distance of the play offs. Not a bad Saturday at all.
This. Nice to beat Grimsby especially on their patch for once, always seem to do shite against them. Can’t remember us beating them since we won the JPT.

Disagree, thought Gordon was fantastic when he came on, pit in some good crossing with his left foot, as did the brilliant Tsaroulla with his right foot, didn't miss Jones with that MOM performance.

Yep this is our season. We're not gonna beat many of the decent sides and it's gonna be frustrating but at least it's not frothing at the mouth at horrendous lino decisions at Sutton in a relegation scrap.

That passage of play was mental at the end, that said we should have been 4-2 up when we missed an absolute sitter from the pull back just before.

Taking Garrity off for Lowe didn’t help nor our outlet in Stockley, but we rode it out.

The Wimbledon goals both kind of came out the blue but they were decent. Similar to Accrington in style, very physical and direct but obviously better than Stanley however no surprise we struggled against both.

Stockley got zero protection.

First 15 minutes was Bradfords then it was all us up to 85 minutes, we should have been at least 4 up by half time. Kyle Hurst ran the show and McGrath,Olowu and Senior bossed the defence. That’s the best we’ve played in ages. I hope that’s how we lineup in future, great day out, still not home

We are absolutely dreadful at home as soon as the opposition score, we usually start off well (Donny game aside) and look good then as soon as we concede its absolute toilet.
So frustrating this home form but I guess that’s where we’re at right now but the potential is there with this team but we always find a way of fucking it up.
It seems like every week I look at the results in this league and always see that you've been battered at home by someone yet I scroll to the bottom half of the league and you're nowhere to be seen. Weird league this one

It was a good game, I predicted 2-2 and I was almost right, but I’m glad I wasn’t!. We were indecisive with our openings in the first half usually Molyneux is more clinical in those areas, when we caught you on the break a few times we should have done much better. Second half we were brilliant but once you scored there was a few chances in there at the end and it’s a nervy watch seeing you attacking towards your fans and the atmosphere generated chasing that equaliser. I’m so happy Sharp scored as he worked hard as always and needed a goal and Hurst especially was brilliant today like you said. I think Cook was clinical with the header and would have been 2-2 if it wasn’t for our defender McGrath throwing his body on the line for Cooks late effort, you really did go hell to leather after you made it 1-2. Your Goalkeeper, he made some good saves in the first half, at least looked like a couple of good ones from my seat however he probably should have saved Molyneux’s shot in the second but I think the goal was deserved. The lad who set up Cook I believe came on and made a difference is it kavangh? I may have got that wrong but whoever it was looked dangerous.

Impressed by Donny today. Even when we were on top, their breakaways caused us problems. Of the top teams, have only seen them and Wimbledon. Doubt there will be a more physical team in the division than Wimbledon but Donny have physicality at the back and pace and skill in midfield and up front
