Match fixing must be punished by HUGE point deductions.I'd be amazed if Colchester v Crewe wasn't a draw.
If Crawley beat Grimsby, Barrow need to beat you, point no good.I always suspected they’d be something somehow riding on this game between us and barrow, maybe not quite like this though.
There was understandably a party atmosphere against gillingham where we scored 2 crackers to win, and i’m sure the fans will be the same this time round.
Barrow got graham coughlan sacked in a dismal 4-2 home defeat 3 and a half years ago which led to clough signing who promised he’d get us up - turn full circle and here he is doing it at barrow.
Appreciate others at stake but i wouldn’t begrudge barrow the point they need.

How I see it to, 8/5 for Wrexham to win is generous....I wish our game was a different KO time so that I could follow the play-off race independently.I'm on a Stag do in Prague so won't be able to see the guard of honour for the Champions either but I'm sure our fans and club will be on hand to take plenty of evidence and pictures.
Delighted there is nothing riding on it. Think the motivation will be stronger with Wrexham tbh, the guard of honour, welcoming the champions and wanting to avenge the 5-0. Plus they're very good at home. Can't look past a home win but can't see me caring too much.
Final day definitley looks more like the excitement lies in how the Play Off positions will end up.
I assume no fans would boo a team that’s being offered a guard of honour for winning the league at all in the first place. How I see it to, 8/5 for Wrexham to win is generous....I wish our game was a different KO time so that I could follow the play-off race independently.
Fully expect the guard of honour to be respected by the players, but not the fans.....As it should be, I won't boo it, will just sit in my seat then get behind Wrexham.
Glad the trophy has already been awarded though, that would have really stung, and probably cause a bit of bother with some of our idiot fans. In fact, I half expect there to be some trouble anyway as I wouldn't be surprised if we are on the pitch again.
There is bitterness there.I don’t understand why the fans would not clap the champions? I genuinely think the majority of stags fans would if they visited Field Mill Saturday.
There is bitterness there.
We pipped them to them to the NL title 2 years ago, consigning them to the Play Offs (where Grimsby beat them in a classic Play Off Semi Final).
Our "firm" EVF flew a plane banner over the Racecourse that day reminding them who the Champions were.
They had beat us at the Racecourse the week before the last day of the season and from stories at our end Wrexham weren't the most magnanimous in victory. Which was silly because we had a game in hand meaning if we won the last two we'd still win the league ( we won both). The way they celebrated I think they thought they'd had it in their hands.
So then when we meet again this season 2 seasons later, we beat them 5-0 in September at EP and we beat them to the league again (although obviously Wrexham promoted too this time)
Them having to get the red carpet out is a bit of a bitter pill again for them. But in my opinion I would find it more funny if they refused to do it or their fans booed
I think the trophy is ours to do what we want with it until the official handover which I imagine is some point in the summer, so there isn't much stopping us bringing it off the coach, into the dressing room and showing it off again to our supporters (who will be hemmed in by the Heddlu long after the FT whistle) again at FT.Personally i find it a shame you’ve not lifted the title at the racecourse, would make for good tv
We'd never refuse to do it, Parky wouldn't allow it if nothing else. There is bitterness there.

No I think some would boo and I would be like you and just do nothing. We'd never refuse to do it, Parky wouldn't allow it if nothing else.
I'd be surprised if it's not booed, I agree it's a bit classless and I won't do it.
Genuine question, if the situation was exactly the opposite, do you think it would be well received at Edgeley Park?
For the Mansfield fans, I don't necessarily think you or others would be booed, there is an ingrained Stockport bitterness in my opinion (A bit of a Notts County one to, which is even more strange).
100%.....Was so nice going to Crewe and not being desperate to get something, would have been a tough one to need something out of Stockport, and brutal if you stopped us being promoted at home.No I think some would boo and I would be like you and just do nothing.
I'm just glad it's ended up that in reality it's all just pantomime stuff. I'd be bricking it if we needed a result for promotion and I'm sure the same for you.

Depends on how many goals Crawley win by. If they only win by 1 goal, Barrow will still have better GD and as such will finish ahead of them with a draw.If Crawley beat Grimsby, Barrow need to beat you, point no good.

I didn't say I can't understand why it exists....Just that I find it a little strange personally (Maybe I should have worded it that way) that it's been retained. How is it strange? What can't you understand about it? The very recent rivalry due to a fantastic title battle between the two in the National League is certainly a two way street on social media.
To me that's like any Notts fans who claims it strange that a small section of Wrexham get all defensive and butt hurt when anything is brought up about overpaying for players, players wages, squad budgets etc from clubs fans who are ultimately a little jealous.
Neither are strange, quite the opposite to be expected.
