The rest of the division pales into insignificance when you consider the game at Blundell Park tomorrow.

Rumours the Grimsby fans are going to welcome the team coach in with flags, banners etc. David Artell smiling away, waving at the fans whilst sitting in the front seat. He's got them in this mess, the massive tit.
It’s time to stop sitting on the fence, do you like Artell or not?

I'd be amazed frankly. Had a go at picking a team for tomorrow on Notts Mad and any way I did it keeper and defence looked dodgy and midfield a bit short of bite.
We've apparantly been better away recently but apart from Newport where we did play very well of our last eight away games we've P8 W1 D1 L6.

We're not great at home. Think we're a bit light in midfield too. Just hope it's a decent game.

I'm not going (saving my pennies to go to Swindon instead) so don't care if it's an awful game just needa point from this one to stop the part time rot.

The highlighted 4 points from 24 away from home says it all, and that inclydes Newport who have made us look like Juve not once but twice this season.

Morecambe at home for us, still yet to play Morecambe this season, so don't know much about them. They seem very capable how getting the odd fantastic result like at MK a few weeks back.

I'm expecting it to go very similarly to our last two home games vs Harrogate and Crawley where they will sit back and it will be down to us to break them down.

Crewe 1-0 Morecambe (Kirk) 4,750 (150 Morecambe)

We're annoyingly inconsistent. Our record at Crewe is pretty poor and we've been hammered everytime I've been, but we seem to get results when you least expect it.

My head still thinks we'll get comfortably beaten tomorrow though, you look a good side from what I've seen.

Rovers v Sutton is hard to call. Lost the last two on the back of very poor second half showings after being behind at h/t. The Forest Green game especially poor as we were playing a full strength side rather than the oddments who played at Swindon. I’m expecting Adkins to revert to the line-up at Forest Green, since none of those missing were injured according to Nigel. Perhaps Luke Norris might get into the starting xi though has looked rusty on his return and rightly being eased back.

Sutton have improved since the change of management and definitely look harder to beat. I’d take a draw, a win would as good as secure L2 survival, but lose and we have a string of difficult fixtures coming up with the risk of being drawn into a relegation battle if we don’t take something from those games.

Cowley and Challinor both breathe a sigh of relief as their game is called off.

Colchester v Stockport off. Throw these jokers out the league with immediate effect. Can afford to bring in the Cowleys and to beat other clubs to players every window on crowds of 3000 but won't sort their pitch out. At least they've given Stockport more than an hour's notice I guess, however I suspect some of them would have been en route.

You’re never going down, give us those 3 points gracefully.

At least we do it on purpose.

If our game actually goes ahead today, there's no chance Tuesday's will. Pitch will be absolutely destroyed come 5pm.

Kickoff delayed to 12:45 due to the MK team coach getting stuck in traffic.

Were the Cowleys at Braintree when they were the kings of cancelled fixtures?

Parky's rounded up hundreds of volunteers to pour buckets of water onto the Racecourse pitch.

The joys of League 2. Two mid table crap teams on a swamp in the freezing cold, can’t wait. Fancy us to win today which is a bad sign.

He kept all those wet towels from the Aldershot match a few years ago and now he's wringing them out over the pitch.

There's clearly a drainage issue that needs sorting, but that's not the sort of thing that's going to be able to happen mid-season. It's only been this season that we've been having these issues - there is a theory that all of the building work happening next door is interfering with soakaways etc but I wouldn't know. Combine whatever the drainage issue is with the wettest few months I think I can ever remember and it's one of those things I guess. Hopefully it can be rectified properly in the off season.
