In theory it should be a canter for us considering our respective starts, however, at this stage in the season the table probably does lie, at least in Donny's eyes. As ever I will take 3 points at home and a draw away from home. 2-2

I also speak for the majority of Town fans in wishing Bradford well until February 1st. In Mark Hughes we trust!

Don’t think we’ve ever won at Harrogate, think our record is five defeats and we’ve managed one draw.

Hopefully their game midweek takes a bit out of them, and also hopefully someone nicks Luke Armstrong just before the window shuts.

I see another draw for us here. I do t mind drawing away but we need a few home wins. Alot depends on what wednesday at Chelsea takes our of us.

Looking forward to my first trip to Donny. Someone, sometime is going to give us a thumping the way we play but I’m all for sticking to it. Great spectacle especially against the backdrop of Garner/Lindsey/Morris.

So, Trannies, how many tickets have you sold?

Hoping for a big atmosphere, it's usually pretty tasty when we meet.

After a good performance against Morecambe, I'm hoping for a win against Barrow. But with Harrogate, you never know whether they are going to turn up or not. I won't be surprised if we lose by 3.

Bradford at home next saturday, which will be a stern test for the team, bradford have won their last 2 visits to field mill so hopefully it’s 3rd time lucky for us.

If we’re able to win that it would certainly improve confidence levels, i’m sure andy cook will be wanting to score again.

We're miles away from the team of last season. 4-1 Mansfield.

Good time to be playing Sutton who seem at sixes and sevens. Improved so much yesterday compared to the Newport debacle, a win here would really set the tone as upwards rather than strugglers.

Stockport County.
Sutton, Forest Green, Wimbledon and Newport play each other in a mini box league every week. Prove me wrong.

Andy Cook played the last 15 minutes yesterday looking like a 65 year old playing walking football.

He looked shattered even before picking up what looked like an injury to his hip. As we had used all our subs he was left to soldier on.

Cannot see him playing at Wrexham on Tuesday, hopefully he will be fit enough to play at Field Mill and score his first of the season with his obligatory goal against Mansfield

Problem we’ve got is quite a few players who looked absolutely fucked by the end yesterday, these same players will have to play at Hillsborough Tuesday and again Saturday because we have no one spare to rotate so I expect a leggy performance.

Plus we will concede every game for the foreseeable future, so we will need to score a couple to win.

My girlfriend is from the Wirral and a few of her family support Tranmere so I'm hoping for a positive result otherwise I won't hear the end of it.

Also hoping there is a good atmosphere but doesn't turn nasty. No reason for it to really - have always enjoyed Tranmere Wrexham games as a decent derby style game without all the crap that comes with Chester or Shrewsbury games.

Despite the performance yesterday which from an attacking perspective was breathtaking at times, defensively were a shambles and it’s going to be like this for the time being so i’d imagine he get a few good chances, especially given the defending for stockport’s 2nd goal which was well crap.

I don’t doubt we’ll score so it’s just who gets the most!

Top of the table MK Dons at home. Yipee. It's at home and we're 10 unbeaten there, so need to be targeting a result regardless of the opposition. Their individual quality upfront worries me, got some good players there. Think the Alex's attack can hurt them defensively if they get the chance, but need to be far better than against Bradford. Could well see a narrow defeat here, I'd probably take a draw.

We've been winning with some questionable performances so I'm guessing at the return of Crewe 2-2.

I'd be more negative than that. How the f**k we are top of the table with the performances we have put in I do not know. Someone is going to tonk us if we carry on as we are. Maybe not Crewe but we have Notts soon and I'm not looking forward to that.

Mansfield away, first real test of the season and can’t see how we get anything. We’re too open/sloppy in defence for them not to score and we don’t have enough goal threat at the other end to make up for it.
To see out Saturday we finally dumped the awful 532 and ironically turned to last seasons back 4 but fully expect stubborn Hughes to return to it next week, leaves us with an extra defender doing nothing and short in midfield so there’s no one to receive it, a great tactic said no one ever. 3-1.

Because this league is woeful and we've not needed to rotate the squad. Until we do, we'll continue to overperform.

Don’t worry you’ll score when we insist on having everyone back for a corner and then concede from a free header anyway.

I know that feeling, this season we bring EVERYONE back to defend throw ins which again is great to watch.
