Obviously pretty chilled out about the final two games. Title would be nice, but not going to cry about it. Northampton a really tough game, right on form and we have an atrocious record against them.

A draw would be nice, to keep the title race going to the last day no matter what FGR do, but for the first time in a long time I won't be nervously checking the scores.

I think i heard that we have the worst record coming from behind this season or have not come from behind to win this season... something along those lines anyway!

First goal is absolutely key. Lets hope Exeter have really gone all out after the game and are feeling the effects come Saturday!

COME ON TOWNNNNN
An Exeter goal as early at ours at Sixfields would go down very well

We all think it won’t be us.

Can’t say I fancy your 2 games much.

And you have previous.

Previous records matter for nothing I reckon. Different teams, different players, different managers. I think a relaxed Exeter team could be dangerous and if you're a footballer that loves football then every game matters, even if it's a kick about in the park.

I'd agree with that. Mansfield's remaining games look tougher than even ours. FGR won't want to finish on a losing note and Salford have got to win to have a chance of the playoffs.

I don't think any team can be fully confident that they will get the results they need in the next 2 games. Always throws up surprises at this time of the season.

I could even see Northampton beating Exeter but then losing to Barrow, or us drawing with Newport and beating Exeter.

I've said before, but I'd be amazed if any more than 81 points is required for 3rd place. Could see it being as few as 79 points needed.

We are praying that is the case. Would be great timing, first time we'd ever been in the top 3 all season.
Ive got a feeling we might draw v Rochdale though..
Yep also got a feeling we will drop points on Saturday

I am reliably informed the hangovers have worn off and the team will be in tip top condition for Northampton. We never win at Northampton. So 2-0 to City it is then.

This is the sort of weird logic being a football fan drives you to. I’ve flip flopped between oh they’ll be underprepared so that makes them more dangerous I can’t see us winning, and no pressure on them so we’ll start fast and nick an early goal and then we’ll all be happy

The trouble at our level is that any team can throw in a stinker on any given day. Nobody knows when that day will be, but we all know it will come.

100%. You will always seem to have clubs/grounds you dont seem to do well against/at.
Take ourselves for example, last won at Vale Park in 1992 before this season..

WTF has our previous record got to do with tomorrow? A completely different group of players, playing a completely different group of players. Christ you're an absolute clown.

Then explain why your record against them has been so poor over such a long period of time

Because we've been the worst team on the day? Every team is going to have good records against teams, and bad records against teams. It's quite literally impossible not to be in this scenario, given how averages and the real world works. For nobody to have any good/bad records against certain clubs, over umpteen games, is probably more unlikely than winning the lottery. The variables make no difference whatsoever on the next game you play. The fact you think results 10+ years ago against a team has any significance on what happens tomorrow shows the lack of intelligence by people on this forum. Christ almighty. Half our team weren't even in secondary school at when half those games happened in just the relatively recent record that was quoted on #36.

If you flip a coin 10,000 times, you'll get long streams of both heads and tails without the other one showing up.

First I`ve heard of this but I wouldn`t be surprised. I agree it`s sad in a way but there again why should Tranmere pay out a fortune in extra Policing etc because the fans of the visiting club has a gripe against their owner (albeit a fully justifible one. The guy is a disgrace) and why should we as fans face the possibility of having our final home game of the season halted by the disgruntled fans of said visiting club?
It will be fine. There seems to have been some kind of gentleman’s agreement that we won’t disrupt away games - for the exact reasons you mention in your post. I’d be amazed if there’s any mid-game disruption and, if there is, it’s more likely to be a handful of people who’ll get shooed off pretty quickly rather than the Salford-type scenes.

Hopefully we’ll take advantage of Crawley’s managerial crisis and pick up our first ever League win there. Not holding my breath as we’ve been clearly the better side on all three of my visits and still lost every game regardless. Such a bogey team.

That’s kind of my point. You would expect more than 3 wins out of 30 games against what would have been an equal opponent - just based on the law of averages.

These anomalies are fairly frequent in head to head matches over a number of years.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m hoping for an Exeter win.

Based on your posts in your short time on this forum, you're the expert in stupidity and clown-like posts, ffs.
Astounding comeback, I bet you'll win a few arguments with that quick wit.

Are you 5? 'astounding comeback', to what? 'Far be it from me to argue with such a clown expert'? It's quite literally an exact copy of paste from what you've said 3 times, replacing clown for other such words.

I think it’s clear your guys will be under much more pressure than ours. And our guys really really want to win the league. I reckon we will win at Northampton for the time in ages tomorrow. But I thought we had a chance at Wembley and you gave us a proper whooping that day

similarly even shit teams battling relegation can pull a good result out of thin air once in a while;-

last season;- Barrow 3 Cheltenham 0, Cheltenham 0 Barrow 2
this season;- Barrow 4 FGR 0, Oldham 5 FGR 5,
