Stevenage at home. Was convinced at one point this was going to be a winner stays up match, then I was thinking we'd already be down by this game, then Simpson came in and I thought we might end up sending Stevenage down. Now we're both safe. So it's another meaningless game which I'm sure both clubs are delighted about. It's a celebration of EFL safety friendly match.

Stevenage have picked up form under Evans, but despite that I can't see anything other than a Carlisle win in this one.

Carlisle United 2-1 Stevenage

Colchester away fair trip with nothing to play for and two poor teams 0-0 written all over it.

It will be fine. There seems to have been some kind of gentleman’s agreement that we won’t disrupt away games - for the exact reasons you mention in your post. I’d be amazed if there’s any mid-game disruption and, if there is, it’s more likely to be a handful of people who’ll get shooed off pretty quickly rather than the Salford-type scenes.

The way we’ve been playing I think I’d prefer it if you lot got the game abandoned!

One of our midfielders Mark Shelton is gonna be out injured on Saturday, got a cotton bud stuck in his ear.

Fuck me, we're a travesty.

Just take a deep breath, hold your nose , shut your mouth and blow outwards. Should do the trick.

Please tell me you're not taking the piss.

No it is very much true, sadly.

"Mark Shelton had a cotton bud in his ear and it’s gone too far and he’s gone to the hospital and it sounds like the doctor has put the tweezers in too far and he’s dizzy. He can’t stand up,” explained Lee.

I think Shelton jammed the fucker in himself so he didn't have to play under Lee for the remainder of his contract.

At the risk of sounding like Devon Lad, I think we’ll win and comfortably tomorrow. Just think that we’ll play our best game with absolutely no pressure on us. I may be wrong as Northampton are very good and also our bogey team, but I just think our name’s on the title.

I would love this to happen but I just know it will be 0-0 until the 89th minute and then Northampton pump their 800th corner into the box and it goes in off someone's arse.

Would work if we didn't have Stubbs. We are winning tomorrow.

On second thoughts, we lost 30 years ago so it's inevitable that game means we lose tomorrow...

Going to miss the game today but I am having a bad feeling about the end of the season.

Honestly, I can see us losing today and next week meaning we lose the last five games of the season!

We seem to have chucked it.

Stubbs being injured leaves the defence a bit light. Oh well, we will just have to go all out attack...

Going to be a fantastic atmosphere at the CG today if Tuesday is anything to go by. Nearly all of the home ends sold out meaning that we will probably have more home fans in the stadium than there were for the Man City cup game. Barrow have improved under Brown but they are down there for a reason. We were hopeless in the away game but hopefully should right that wrong today. We have circa 4k fans going to Walsall next Saturday and need to win today in order to not make that trip a "white elephant". Correctly predicted 3 zip at Hartlepool last week so hoping the crystal ball is still functioning. 2-1 Town

Looks close to a sell out going by the stadium graphic. Few seats left on the Bank and that’s it. No idea what that means for actual numbers, though. 12,000?

I suppose it’s that time when we all say ‘good luck everyone’.

Fuck that!
