Yep - that's how I feel, with a shockingly bad stomach ache as well.

I was completely fine yesterday, even went for a run (though only managed 1km before rolling my ankle).

It's not been a great week...

That used to happen to me all the time and I had no other option but to splash out on proper technical running shoes. And have you checked if you're a neutral, a pronator or a supinator? I'm the latter and I was actually running in shoes that were meant to be worn by pronators Doh!

The ankle roll came from stepping on a bottle in long grass. I was running on the road towards a traffic lighted junction and the lights had just turned green. As the car waiting was turning left, I thought it safer to get up on the verge (immediately after the lights you step back onto a path). I had a few steps in the long grass before stepping on the bottle. I tried to continue for about 100 yards, but it was clear that I had to walk home. It still slightly aches now, but I should be fine for Monday.

Ha that's no biggie then. But i thought I should mention the need for making sure you're running in shoes that suitable for you. I wasn't being preachy or anything rather the opposite in fact as I don't want others to do the same mistake I did - I did actually spend more than 5 years running in the wrong shoes while wondering at the time why I was seemingly unable to run properly :ffs:

Same for me, found out which shoes I needed, my feet were better but I soon released the shoes didn’t matter I’m just shite at running

Whilst fully aware this post may come back to haunt me come 5pm on Saturday, I really think we'll turn Plymouth over. Cooky has us firing, figuritively and literally; let's just hope we can keep the back door shut.

One thing is for certain, there will be goals. I reckon Plymouth will need to put 3 past us to win the game, vice versa may be true.
Bring it on, we’ll be right up for it

Any thoughts on goal totals? Would be amazed if either side kept the other out.

Queue the inevitable 0-0...
Our defence is much improved on last season. We do still concede but we are nowhere near as easy to break down as last season.

You are very strong on paper but interestingly I think defence is your weakest part of the squad? You’ve got plenty of attacking talent to outscore the opposition however.

A 2-2 wouldn’t surprise me.

Missing Jordan Houghton in the middle for the first time this season, he is like our Jordan Henderson. Doesn’t get all the plaudits but keeps things ticking over.

I think if we do win tomorrow, it’ll really make me think we are the real deal this season. Ipswich are flying now, they’ve got the best squad in the league and to top it off, we’ve got a sell out crowd. We never usually do well when we’ve got a big crowd.

Hopefully it’s a repeat of the Sheff Wed and Bolton scorelines..

To be honest it’s nice to have big well supported clubs coming down to HP. For years in L2 we only had Pompey. This season there are a lot of big well supported clubs which is great, makes a change to seeing 105 Stevenage fans on a Saturday afternoon.

I'm setting off. Haven't been this excited about an away game for some time.

Huge for either side if they win today.

Woke up hungover in a travelodge in Plymouth! Feeling a 2-2 could be a good one to bet on. We’ve got a few injuries apparently. Massive game

It was just over 18 years ago that we beat Bolton 4-0 at Fratton on a balmy August Tuesday evening to go top of the Prem with a Teddy Sheringham hattrick.

That was another time. Maybe even another universe. Today we thrash it out in League One lower-mid, trying to get some sort of form going. Still, the sun's shining and anything seems possible.

Marvin Johnson lines up at centre half again today… I get Moore wants to play a left footer on that side but not a fucking winger who’s even a liability at left back.

Pleasantly surprised by the performance so far. As above we are definitely 3/4 players light with Injuries and sarc going. Think we have been good. Pompey will start to tire in the second half because we are making them run. We usually concede early in first half and are chasing the whole game. It’s nice that we’ve kept a clean sheet this half. If it’s 0-0 after 65/70 I fancy us to nick it but a point would be a good result.

Awful again. Fans fighting between themselves and singing were fucking shit all half. Players all over the place. The clock is ticking for Moore.

Bloody hell Portsmouth are dire.Hit the bar and post and a good claim for a penalty. We are far from good but these are woeful. Great fans but they may need to go down before they come back.
One goal should settle this

We have apparently got a phycologist in to help with the amount of late points we’re dropping. Glad to see it’s working.

We were better first half. They were probably better second half despite the fact we hit the woodwork 3 times. Draw would probably have been fair but we certainly didn’t deserve to lose. Yet another 1-0 loss this season. We don’t have enough goals in the team. We certainly aren’t playing to Doyle’s strengths at all and kachunga is just not good enough. Certainly out wide anyway.

Time to go back to 352 for me. Dapo and Doyle/Baka up front. Isgrove and John and much better suited to being wing backs. And Johnston isn’t tall enough in league 1 to play centre back. He’d maybe get away with it higher up the pyramid but he is defo a left cb in a 3. A midfield of Lee mj and Thomason or Sheehan. Think that would suit us better now sarc has gone

Where do I start?! I can't even be bothered to talk about the Plymouth's gamesmanship & time wasting, the only question I have about today is how much Plymouth paid that referee, I'm raging. When the board went up and only said 5 minutes I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Fucking speechless.

That result probably translates into us having to go via the playoffs this season. We were nowhere near our best today but it's a depressing truth that we're 13 points adrift from Plymouth, what a piss poor league this must be (I'm putting us down in that statement aswell). It's been a long time since I've been this angry about a game of footbal.

Still think we'll definitely be in the top 6 come May. As for top 2 though? Doubtful.

Maybe if you lads stopped your persistent fouling we wouldn’t of got so many decisions go our way
