Absolute must win for us already at Colchester, mid week win was a confidence booster, lose and I dunno where we go from there.
If he makes changes(hastie) or alters the formation and we lose hes going to get slaughtered.

Don't have the best record against Tranmere in recent times and it's usually a slog. We seem to have goals in us though 2-2

Rochdale at home.

With the way they’ve started this should be a home banker, but could they get a new manager bounce?

Well we are probably an ideal opponent at the moment. Our last 2 league performances have been extremely poor, and from what I hear we were poor again in the pizza trophy.

They’ll probably be right up for it so we need to be to get 3 points.

Can see this playing out as a draw in another poor performance where Rochdale will feel frustrated that they didn’t win.

Carlisle 1-1 Rochdale

Eight of the current top 10 playing each other today. Should be a good weekend for teams at either end of the table to put down a marker. Can see a draw or narrow away win down the O’s today. Always seem to have a hard time against Tranmere.

usually at this stage of the season the teams that have won most games are at the top (obviously) and the teams they have beaten are in the bottom half. We have played and beaten 3 teams who are currently in the top half of the table (Walsall, Bradford and AFC Wombles) which would suggest that even though we are 2nd we have not had the easiest start on paper... we also have not yet played any of the "basket cases" yet.

We’ve played one top of the table team (Stevenage) and got our arses kicked. The rest have been struggling teams and even these have been less than convincing.

After next week our fixtures start to look tougher. That is when I expect our league position to really plummet.

wins for you and us would be an indicator and stretch out the top of the table. defeats for both and 3/4 of the league will be in or within 5-6 points of the play offs

Flabberghasted by HG's optimism in predicting that we'll get a point! You been on the poppers dude?

Contrary to expectations Rovers stick with four at the back at Orient, despite loaning Simeu.

Should be 2-0 stags, but due to us being away, it’s now 1-1. Donny did not deserve that, although now we’ve been the best team for the entire first half I expect Donny to win the game in the second.

We’ve been battered by Walsall for 40 minutes, and are 2-0 up?! Crazy game this football lark!

1-1 at HT at Northampton.
We could have scored 2-3 in the 1st 3 mins, but then Hoskins scored to put them 1-0 up. didn't last long as Josh Gordon got his 5th of the season after 13 mins. end to end after that. Could go either way this.

We’ve been dominated but are 2-0 up, Walsall first team to attack us at home this season and deserve to be winning tbh. Our keeper is MOM so far by miles.

Tight, scrappy game in E10. Tranmere had the better of it and look very solid. Couldn’t complain one bit if the score line was reversed. Their biggest problem is a lack of creativity; definitely function over form.

We’ve been lethargic all over the pitch and are extremely fortunate to be ahead. Struggling with Tranmere’s physicality and need to work a shite sight harder. Neither keeper has had a save to make.

Oh, and Hemmings is a diving shithouse who needs to shut up.
