if you put Jeffers up on his own, as you are implying I’d be gobsmacked if it works. Give him a striker partner, get him in the box, cross the ball and voila.It's pretty clueless to take off one striker for another when you're against 10 for the entire match. Plymouth fans i've spoken to have all said Jephcott needs to play with a partner. The club should know that when they bring him in. Perfect opportunity to put him up there with Wakeling today and take a midfielder off. Didn't do it and we barely threatened.
The lack of urgency is baffling. Should have been putting them under as much pressure as possible. Players either unwilling or instructed not to take any risks.
Pretty dire stuff. Will get ugly quickly i think.
