I like Minturn. He deserves his chance.
I think it's alot different, Harrogates ground will be fine at national league North level where it belongs, there would be no issues what's so ever. But its not ready for football league, where they have large segregated followings. 600 Bradford fans is alot different to 50 Blythe Spatans, and they the match day experience for them also massively different. I'm guessing 75% of the league have sold out away at Harrogate which further proves the ground isn't ready for this level of football.Looking forward to the trip to Harrogate, despite the reviews on here. My normal Saturday job is based in non-league anyway so I'm used to the facilities (or lack of) that comes with such a set up. It won't be worse than the likes of Cheshunt, but looks to be on a par with somewhere like Wealdstone?
Win and we could be 10 points clear of the bottom 2 which would be remarkable considering where we were at the turn of the year. Hopefully a couple of the players who missed Tuesday will be back for this one, particularly midfield as we were a bit samey with O'Keefe, Williams and Jefferies all starting. We've added full back Lewis Page this week but I'd be a bit surprised if he started this one, although his arrival should hopefully give a big kick up the arse to David Tutonda who must know he's basically on his last chance to perform or he'll be on the scrapheap come the summer.
Form against our immediate rivals has been very strong since January, and I think we'll win this 2-0.

It won’t matter we are absolutely shiteBefore last weekend I'd have agreed with you, but then we went and put in our worst performance of the season...
I've no doubt DC will ring the changes, one or two coming back in who've been injured for two months, so it could be an unsettled side you're up against.
Certainly is. This cheap ticket mullarky is a bit of a smokescreen. Arses on seats at prices people can afford should be applauded - and copied.
Cheap tickets or not, that's fantastic for a League Two fixture.
Saw on Twitter someone saying for a season ticket at Peterborough next season it’s north of £500! For mid table league 1 football and we’re the club that’s mocked ( I realise most do it just as banter but still).

Cheer up, at least you get to enjoy one of the best away days in the divisionIt won’t matter we are absolutely shite

I’d love to see all clubs take our approach and see grounds up and down the country packed every week. Maybe if more PL money trickles down the leagues, which it’s supposed to be doing in the next few years but I won’t hold my breathe, then maybe more clubs can afford this approach but most likely it would just get spent on a few more Sunday league journeymen.
I really do wish fans would unite instead of mock around affordable football because it shouldn’t be so out of reach for some especially with the cost of living crisis.
You have an easy game. We have so many injuries particularly in defence. Our season is over. A comfortable win for you.All the promotion hopefuls seem to have easy home games except us.
If we can get back into the play offs by Saturday night it will be some achievement. First visit to this Plough Lane.

After you predicted Grimsby 4-0 Carlisle earlier in the season before you beat us 2-1 we’re not falling for this bollocks again, so to counter this reverse psychology I’d like to predict:Taking this into account, as well as the opposition being on the crest of a wave and having Anthony Glennon, I think it will be an away win.
Carlisle United 1-2 Grimsby
But we haven’t just gone to a premier league ground and left with everything. After you predicted Grimsby 4-0 Carlisle earlier in the season before you beat us 2-1 we’re not falling for this bollocks again, so to counter this reverse psychology I’d like to predict:
Carlisle United 6-0 Grimsby.
But we haven’t just gone to a premier league ground and left with everything.
If it was us who had just beaten a Premier league team and were then up against Grimsby in the league, would you be saying the same positive things about us before the match?
No, you wouldn't!
It would be all 'Oh back to reality, bread and butter of the league stuff guranteed defeat, back down to Earth etc'.
Everyone sees through your nonsense now.
Who said anything about me not enjoying the season? Where on earth have I said anything of sort? I didn’t enjoy those 3 games where we didn’t threaten to score. But other than it’s been largely enjoyable.Seasons like this don't come around very often. I would feel sad for any fan of a club in a promotion battle who wasn't enjoying the ride. If we fail, then we fail but we may also finally succeed.
I understand keeping a sense of realism and a feet on the ground philosophy but pessimism is odd given our situation. I would question why that person follows football.
I hope that the reality is different to what he posts and he's currently ironing his lucky underpants chanting songs of victory.
If only the usually reliable Danny Grainger scored his penalty against Liverpool...The irony of you, Carver, complaining about someone talking nonsense.
If we’d knocked a premier league club out of the cup in their own back yard, I’d be positive about the next game, 100%.
Sadly that’s never happened in my time supporting this club.
I never said that you weren't enjoying it?Who said anything about me not enjoying the season? Where on earth have I said anything of sort? I didn’t enjoy those 3 games where we didn’t threaten to score. But other than it’s been largely enjoyable.
I would have been delighted with mid table, so top 3 or even playoffs is leaving me ecstatic.
If you think about it, if I expect defeat, it makes victory even more sweeter if it comes. The best moments are often the unexpected ones.
Well you kind of did. Your post was clearly aimed at me and your words were “I would feel sad for any fan in a promotion battle not enjoying the ride”.I never said that you weren't enjoying it?
Your defensiveness is on a par with your pessimism.
I've suffered from depression most of my life. It's taught me to approach life with a level head and use the facts of the situation to shape my mood. The facts of our situation are currently positive. Thinking negatively in a positive situation is unhealthy for the mind.
Realism on the other hand is totally acceptable, especially when you lived through the collapse of 2008.
