2 early kickoffs in the promotion hunt, we face a tricky away game at the home of Select Car Leasing, whereas Wrexham will presumably frolic to a routine grindy win v Burton.

I can see wins for most of the top 8 if I'm honest, though Reading and ourselves have a fair chance of cancelling each other out.

The ultimate motherlode of relegation dogfight football also happens today - Shrews v Cambridge, apparently liquid football purists have already gathered at the New Meadow by way of pilgrimage.

No idea really what will happen against Stockport. Sounds like doubts over Trevitt (who was our best player on Tuesday) and Mitchell, so attacking options might be limited.
But I think we are safe and would be nice to play some handbrake off football, though I'm sure Stockport will have something to say on that.

With the departure of Steve Evans (no option really if the owner wants to sell any season tickets for next season) the stay aways are expected to return to give Matt Hamshaw and Andy Warrington a big welcome back to the club.

The win at Northampton plus being awarded the Sky Bet League One Community Club of the season this week has restored something of the feel good factor back into the fans, so I expect the attendance to be up by 2 or 3 thousand against Blackpool.

Blackpool are on a bit of a roll so I would expect 1500 from them so it should be the best atmosphere at the stadium for some time.

Hopefully MH and AW will have instilled a bit more confidence and nous into the players, so despite all the injuries I'm hoping for a good game and at least a point.

We always lose at Shrewsbury, can't wait to have both of us level on points scrapping for the wooden spoon.
