I wasn’t doing that in the slightest. The league is the best it’s been in years my post was simply because Bolton weren’t good but both Masi and Evatt have been bugging Bolton up for ages and it’s boring

A manager ‘bigging up’ his team is hardly a new phenomenon.

The team has had plenty of plaudits over the past couple of months, as have MK Dons etc.. It is what it is.

Very clinical performance against one of our bogey sides in Accrington. Played 70 odd minutes with 10 men, but tactically spot on and some top class performances today. George Hirst is starting to look like a very good all round centre forward. Timing of his runs are good, positional play great and getting the goals. Aiden Obrian has put in some totally selfless performances. He's such a calm player on the ball. Gone from struggling to score, to grabbing 10 in a week and being the form side in the division.

No excuses.......You need to re read some of my posts praising both yourselves and Oxford.....We have done the double over Oxford does not mean i think they are a bad team.....Mk Dons are ok but will struggle if they cannot get half a team in on loan again

Its not about money Ipswich and Sunderland have spent maybe double what we have done this season and Yourselves have Championship players on Championship wages. What is making us catch those three and pass them is a Manager and performance Analyst who in my opinion are as good as anything outside the Premier league

According to signings on transfer market my club safc have spent less than bolton this season, a few question marks next to signings which are obvs undisclosed for both our clubs. but we aint spent much at all to be honest due to the way the club is still owned. Maybe a couple of them may have took our spending over Boltons though. And your right it aint about money spent, a lot of our key players are returning now and newer players are settling along with Alex neil i reckon we are getting ready for tHe run in at just the right time.

They beat us 6-0 and i don’t believe they are better than us. We were set up so wrong by a manager who literally got us hammered so often away from home with his awful formation and tactics (they worked majority of home games though). We will see how the season pans out and clubs are judged over 46 games.

Most clubs have loan players down here and if it helps MK go up then fair play just like Boltons loan players & free transfers have helped them this year and in the past. The way certain ppl act on this board is pathetic, no names mentioned mind.

Unsure if I’ve missed anyone but those deals are all instalment based too. No idea what you’ve spent? McGeady must still be on a good whack although not on the 40k a week he was on a season or 2 ago. And Patrick Roberts, Jack Clarke are on mega money at parent clubs… although the loans are probably heavily subsidised. Money spent is irrelevant anyway as you say. Most fans would love to see their clubs spend whatever it takes to get up without it compromising the club itself.

That 6-0 win for you unravelled everything and totally de-railed the season. Since then we sacked LJ, then it came out that Kyril Louis Dreyfuss only owns 40 odd percent of the club and madrox (stewart donald, methven and co) own the rest, hence why they are still penny pinching. Madrox are despised by fans after everything thats went on under their ownership (the grigg fiasco on safc till i die was a joke) . They got Kyril on board and fooled us into believing they had the smallest of percentages left in shares, 6% each or summit like that. Kyril acquires the rest of his wealth when he turns 25 so he may buy them out at that point but now we know why so little has been spent because he doesn’t own the majority. It’s been a circus lately. However Alex Neil imo is a good appointment who hopefully can get us in form for these play offs. However if we don’t go up this year i predict he will have us up there next year. This league is strong now and will be again next year so i just hope we can escape it soon. Lots of teams are impressing me this season and pompey/ipswich and yourselves are charging up the league. It’s going yo be a very interesting last third of the season.
