All credit to you for your cracking start and turning over 2 of the bookies favourites. We are only one of the favourites because of Mark Hughes. We are a million miles away from being a promotion chasing side

Great start for Pete Wild.

You've got a good squad on paper, it's just whether they can play to a good standard collectively. Not doing a disservice to ourselves as there's been two fantastic results but it is probably a good thing to play yourselves and Stockport early before you hit your stride so to speak.

yeah - it looked on paper like an awful start start fixture wise for us - but it won't take them both long to improve - so you're right it was a good time to play them. Young of Bradford was a tight handful late on.

Stockport County.
Gutting to lose that but if you go into the 88th minute 1-0 up and you come away with nothing, you really need a bit more about you.

Can't beat the feeling of a last minute winner! Not sure we really deserved the win. For 70 minutes we offered very little, created next to nothing and Stockport, despite not being massively better, seemed fairly comfortable.

The subs helped, we started to show more attacking intent, still direct at times but tried to work the ball closer to the area. Stonewall penalty and second yellow, left us with 6 minutes of stoppage time to find the winner.

Earley involved again, having won the penalty, manages to get in down the left, not sure if he's going for goal from the angle or just trying to put into a dangerous area but he beat the keeper, the ball bounces off the post and Reid is waiting 1 yard out to poke home the winner. Was as scrappy and as fortunate as they come but there will be no complaints from our end!

We were better today but really toothless at times. A draw was about fair. The 3 centre halves were good, Menayese was outstanding, Euan Murray vastly improved from last week. We do lack quality and guile but overall not really unhappy with the result and display.

Pretty happy with that personally, still feel like we’re missing a bit up top, but Umerah put a shift in, decent point after a miserable opening.

1-0 about right today, Tranmere pretty poor - Mansfield having a lot of the ball but lacked quality in the final third.

Referee had this five minutes of madness, he overruled himself and agreed with the lino to give a Tranmere throwing then minutes later the lino gave us a throwing and the bloke refused to give it us

Tranmere had two penalty shouts in first half, first one I missed and second was comical so need to rewatch that but about the right score.

i think conceding a 90+5 equaliser and then going straight up the pitch and getting a 90+6 winner might top it.

We were poor at Hartlepool today. The only positive is we got a point. The first half was a non event. Hartlepool dominated the game from the 60th minute onwards and probably deserved to win.

I'd be starting Crawford instead of Niang give us a bit more impetus. Umerah I like to be honest but we need a conventional front 2. He had very little support.

Yep no idea how we didn't get at least one, just lack of composure and a bit of fortune when it mattered. Neither team looked up to much really so a 0-0 probably suits everyone.

Feel like Umerah needs a quick striker next to him, looks loads better with the ball at his feet than in the air, something there to work with.

Well that was brilliant. I would've been so angry with a draw because it felt like we'd put a right shift in second half. The win felt deserved and I think the overall performance was better than last week. The feel-good factor is back for the first time since we got promoted.

Also, what a signing Whitfield is! Can't believe Stockport couldn't find a role for him.

First half was poor from both sides, but I think we should Wimbledon too much respect. Much improved second half which coincided with Crawford coming into the midfield. We look toothless going forward though which is the issue. Hastie looked knackered after about 40 mins. Umerah put a good shift in up top but he was isolated and chasing shadows too often.

Improvement from last week so I’m happy, but we need to improve in the forward areas.

Back home, pleased with us so far, think we have a solid defence and decent midfield, if we can sort out our attacking players we will have a comfortable season, which will be a good first season back.

We gave Orient a good game until they scored and controlled the game, and had a fancied Northampton side praying for the final whistle from the moment they scored with 20 mins to go.

I think him with Joe Grey is worth a punt when he's fit.

Much the better side second half, Northampton had one chance all game and took it which is typical but a very good finish.

We were then all over them which is pleasing after doing nothing when we went behind last week. Of course Northampton went down and rolled on the floor every 30 seconds even after we deservedly equalised and of course the ref bought every single one of them.

Would have been happy with a point before the game against the money bags club but disappointed we didn't win that.

Desperately need to find that goalscorer if we are going to have a decent season.
I was surprised at how bad they were. Given our injuries we really were there for the taking today but we worked our arses off at the back and in the middle. Holohan was his usual wasteful self at a few moments but otherwise he ran the show. They took their goal so well, have to give them credit for that but that's all you can give them credit for. If McAtee plays in that then we win at a canter, it was his type of match annoyingly. The fact that they were running the clock down after scoring and then after us equalising tells you that they were on the ropes. With a stronger ref we'd have squeezed a bit more momentum out of those periods of dominance at the end. I'm not sold on Kiernan yet. Thought both Wearne and JMD looked much more effective. If Clifton plays on the left then one of them has to start on the other side for me. Not an easy chance at all for JMD, I don't think many in our squad tuck that away so it fell to the perfect player really.

Bit more of a reflective post on the game. We started ok but our decision making in the final 3rd was abysmal. From 10 mins onward Sutton started to take control and we started to look like last season’s team, couldn’t mark or defend against crosses into the box leading to the inevitable goal. To be fair Sutton could and should have been 3-0 up at halftime. Second half we came out far quicker, Rowe was clean through but hit his shot straight at the keeper. From the 60 min point we were virtually playing the game in Suttons half but never looked like scoring but unlike last season’s we kept going, didn’t look like tiring and finally found a way through.
In respect to Sutton, they are a well organised and physical outfit but lack any creativity and seemed to run out of steam after the hour mark.
As for us, poor display, poor decision making which should hopefully improve if and when we get Molyneux, Taylor and Close back in the side. The very big positives other than the 3 points is the fitness, the never say did attitude and resilience of which we had none of last season. Sutton must feel robbed.

23 shots to Northampton’s 8, pretty obvious where we need to improve.
Very encouraged by that performance though although it would’ve been nice to have a referee who actually knew the rules.

I've seen Crawley fans turn on the team before but never in the first home game of the season!

Our performance summed up by the chant 'we had a shot, how shit must you be? We had a shot'

We've got some decent players in that side. Balagizi. Omorole, Jenks but there seems to be a prohibition on passing forwards and don't get me started on Travis 'bsckwards' Johnson! The only time he passed forward was when he should have cut it back from the byline.

Fiver on Betsy to be the first boss sacked might be a good investment. 1 shot on target in 2 games!

It's not going 1-0 down thats a annoyed me today. It's gillinghams jobsworth stewards.

Ticket tsays Gordon road. But they won't let you in there. Stewards make you walk around the other end of ground to get in. Won't open the gate and scan the tickets. Or reword the tickets to say where to go. Poor organisation and treatment of fans that have travelled 250 miles.
Apologies for that - ordinarily the alleyway between Gordon Road and the away turnstiles is available for use so it'd only be a minute or so walk, but for some reason the gate was shut today and I have no idea why. They sometimes lock them post match to keep fans apart, but it's the first time I've seen them shut pre game for a non-local game. If it helps it inconvenienced me as well!

Bit weird how they did that...several confused and one knackered Dale fans before the game.

However... had I known how we were about to play, I'd really not have bothered going in at all. Another pisspoor first half performance, with a team who just don't know how to play together or defend set plays.
Gillingham much the better team, and could or should have been out of sight before the break.

Did we improve after half time? A bit.. but can't recall their keeper making more than one save from a header.
Robbie... it's not good enough. It cost a small fortune getting there today, and you've served up utter rubbish for the second game running. Sort it out or admit you're not up to it. Some of the Summer signings should be giving people rides on the fookin' beach instead of playing professional football.

Two more games to prove you know how to change things round.

A lot better from Pools today ,coinciding with going back to 5-3-2.
The defence looked unregonisible from last week, with Mayo looking very good.
Midfield is still the big problem,Cooke had a good second half, but Sena was poor & Feath just kills any momentum we build up.We are just so slow.
Umerha looks a good signing, but desperately needs some support.
I think him & Joel Grey could strike up a good partnership, even so,goals are going to be at a premium.

Betsy has some competition in the form of Scott Lindsey and Robbie Stockdale.
