Yep you get the feeling it's a really important afternoon in the context of the season even this early on

Yeah I'm hoping for an early Pools goal just to settle some nerves, we all know how the crowd turn nasty when things aren't going our way, I dread to think what might happen if we concede first.
100%. Our fanbase can either be a massive boost as it was plenty of times last season, or turn extremely toxic. Got a feeling if we concede early today they will turn quickly.

Hoping for a positive start to calm things down and get a good result hopefully kick us on.

Only the second game but so much riding on this people might be surprised to hear that.
The players looked shell shocked last week.

Won,t be a long season for PH, We all know what Raj is like.

PH has been given a free reign, Even been allowed to move Sweens backstage.
Like he said in his interview during the week, He,s doing it his way.

Hope it works out for him.

Blimey you lot are optimistic!! Yes we played quite well against Gillingham last week and we looked decent but at this early stage of the season anything can happen.

Tricky game away to Barrow today, more so after their impressive opening day win. Other than the odd idiot on Twitter no city fan will take this one lightly. I wouldn’t be to bothered if we come away with a draw, with all the new faces and style of play change from the majority of last season I expect us to take time to fully gel.

1-1.

Our fan base are completely fed up with the owner and the bollocks he speaks, and if you seen last weeks performance you would get it haha.

Popped down to the ground earlier to pick up a ticket (I was out and about) and I had a look at the playing surface.

Wow! Just wow!

Any complaints about our pitch this season means Krakatoa has gone bang again.

McAtee is 100% out for us today, that doesn’t give me any confidence at all

Looks like we've changed it up to a 532 which to be fair I'd prefer we play.

Rowe fit thankfully and Andrews starting makes me think we are playing 2 up top

No Jamie Walker! Harry Chapman slides in at CAM and Alex Gilliead slots into the RW position.

It's not going 1-0 down thats a annoyed me today. It's gillinghams jobsworth stewards.

Ticket tsays Gordon road. But they won't let you in there. Stewards make you walk around the other end of ground to get in. Won't open the gate and scan the tickets. Or reword the tickets to say where to go. Poor organisation and treatment of fans that have travelled 250 miles.

Yeah. Reckon we've shaded it but not many chances at all. Very congested in all areas of the pitch, both defences on top. Pinnock looks a bit more combative than I thought he would be, impressed with him. Thought he was more of a #10/CAM.

Stockdale out. I said it last season, and nothing has changed. We are tactically clueless, and zonal marking does not work, two opening goals conceded in the last two weeks from free headers from a free kick. I can’t even fathom what our game plan is. It’s only a matter of time before Gills make it 2-0. Then 2nd half we will ‘play well’ according to Stockdale and be ‘unlucky’ to lose in the end after grabbing a consolation when Gills take their foot off the gas. No point turning up for only one half every week. Time to go. He’s made some decent signings on paper and I rate most of his signings, but as a manager he’s clueless. Only one way we are going with him in charge.

Very cagey first half at Stevenage v County, going off the commentary. Madden's not seen any of the ball, Hinchliffe had to make a couple of saves; Collar's gone off injured and replaced by Camps. Still a better first half than last week's abomination.

Pretty even game at BP, think we have shaded it on the ball and getting forward but hardly any chances created for either side. Hard working but no quality in the final third, same story as last season

Mansfield getting away with murder here. Stone wall pen for a drag back on Nevitt after 2 minutes, free kicks to Mansfield when they mislay a pass. Bizarre stuff.

Relatively even game besides all that nonsense with the best chance falling to Hemmings who maybe should have scored.

Boring half that. Both sides passing it around but with no cutting edge. Better but no idea how we'll score any goals.

Unbelievably we’re actually worse than last week. I didn’t think that could be possible. McKirdy summoned up enough effort to pick up 2 yellows. It’s getting toxic already.

Lindsey looks way out of his depth.

Nowt happening on the pitch, so the big news at futuristic Creepy NFTown is that the crypto bros can’t get the Wi-Fi working and everything is cash only.
