I thought we deserved the win against Wigan, had the better chances throughout the game - but still had to defend well to deny them with 3 moments they had.

Dan Agyei has found his form again, scoring, assisting and scaring defenders with his trickery and pace.

Conditions not the best, both teams coped well considering I thought.

Wigan reminded me of ourselves, a possession based team who look good on the eye, but without that cutting edge up front. They also started Theo Aasgaard on the bench, which suprised me as he is their best player.

That perfectly describes Wigan, and Aasgaard looked quality against us so surprising to see that.

Better 2nd half. Yes conditions were awful. Can't believe Mullin and Fletcher missed those sitters.
Any wins a good win
Keeper did well for Fletcher's. I'd have fancied myself with Mullin's.

Stockport County.
Scrappy first half but our quality told second half. Exeter didn't offer much. Saying that, their number 4 helped us with a quite poor own goal and beaten all ends up by Barry and had to hack him down for the penalty.

Funny thing is barring those two match defining errors, I thought he looked a decent centre half.

A lot of people congratulating those home supporters who sat in the open end Railway End today. I don't congratulate them, I think they should be sectioned.

Christ, just seen your goals, STFC defence and goalie look like absolute wank, although in fairness I believe they had two suspended players out of their back four.
Ainsworth certainly has his work cut out. As you say tho, Pierre and Benning both suspended today. Of the back 4 today, Nurse has been out for 2 years and barely played, M Feeney 1st game back after injury, Ojo isn't a CB and Hoole has only come back into the team since Ainswroth came in. Less said about Savin today the better.

Somehow need to stay in touch before January and then hope there are funds available to pretty much change the entire team.

Saw the worst player I've seen all season today, Jason Sraha for Burton. Genuinely should be playing for Welling United or someone.

Don’t worry, play like we did at Orient and you’ll see 10 players of that standard

Burton are absolutely diabolical. I'd say that's comfortably the worst we've been this season (largely due to the conditions) and we could've won 3-0. Could be a double relegation for them.

No way I would go sit in that open end, I barely made it today and I sit at the top of our main stand.

How have Stockport been awarded YET another penalty?

Someone needs to investigate this.

Thought Exeter looked decent in every area except attack, we completely neutered any threat today. The own goal was obviously fortuitous but we'd hit the post twice, had one disallowed and a couple of strong penalty shouts

Got a not so much a scrappy but scrappy 1-0 win courtesy of big ole Darragh today, straight from a corner. First half was difficult by shooting from the wind, but one tame effort from the edge of the D didn’t cause any issues. Second half we could and should have scored 3. Fletcher shot from point blank and the keeper made an incredible block, then moments later a wayward shot from James let Mullin in from 8 yards and smashed it straight at the keeper

Hopefully he finds his shooting boots, starting with a hattrick next week.

All in all a bitter windy day made it impossible to play any football, but still got the win. That’ll do.

Just the 8 penalties for Barry so far this season and they are the ones he's scored. He might have missed a few as well, who knows. That Stansfield at Birmingham usually gets a penalty when he needs it as well.

Subtle reminder that we've not been awarded one yet in the league this season.

Don't need 'em, clearly.

Yes he is at the moment and prior to that he hasn’t really got going for us yet and found himself as a sub more often than not. He competes with Ben Wiles also who is our top scorer. Would be a big bonus for Jan onwards if we see the player you did.
You may as well let us have him back at a cut price, doesn't sound like you need him

I’m sure there is a player in there just hasn’t worked for him yet, he got dropped after some poor performances and since then we’ve gone on an unbeaten run of a fair few games he got injured on his sub comeback and as only just started training again. He will get minutes just needs to prove himself when he does.

Don’t recall in incident worthy of a pen that wasn’t given either this season. The last blatant one we got was Mansfield at home in April (or back end March)…

The whole day felt non-league.

You’d know better than anyone, I guess.

Really pleased with our showing at Wigan. Desperate conditions, natch, but we kept the ball on the deck for the most part and scored a very neat opening goal. Keeper didn’t have a save to make all game and we topped it all off with a comedy second in added time. Perfect away performance, no notes.

He does this every week. Crama is the best player we have, or at least would be if he didn't do at least one stupid thing every match. Usually giving the ball away whilst trying to play out, mistiming a tackle or just missing a header.
I guess that's why Brentford have loaned him out, he's not ready for their first team.

Don't think we've had one either. Though you generally need to be in the opponents box to be awarded one.

He made a lot of errors for us and soon dropped to the bench but did produce the odd great performance. Seems like he is more consistent this season
Quansah was even worse and now look at him

Blatant as in an obvious penalty?

Very happy Will Evans got a goal today but he is still like a lost puppy without Lee Gregory, I left the ground today feeling we win that if he played today. We need to spend the DKD money on depth in the attacking areas as a priority if possible because one injury has cost us a lot of points.

Considering the conditions today we played some really good stuff, very frustrating we did not find a way to translate that in to points. Nice to see the opposition gaffer admit we should get something out the game too, very rare at this level.
