Not a bad day for us, Top of the league and comfortable win despite not playing at our best. In truth we didn't need to get out of 2nd gear today.

Macclesfield are a lucky, lucky side.

I wonder if they might suffer the same fate next season as bury did this.

Not sure what the record low points tally (since 3 for a win) is in L2 level but Stevenage are doing their best to achieve it. Strange one as they had a half decent season last time out.

Considering how tight those top 3 places are, that Stevenage goal IRKS me. Table looks good though. We seem to have had a phobia of going top in recent weeks.

Well-deserved win. We seem to have found our best shape at the end of the season. Lowe is now playing Mayor in a traditional number 10 position behind the two strikers. He is playing better and we looked balanced for the first time this year.

Watch our second goal, the pass from Cooper and Hardie’s control is spot on, though not sure what the goalie was doing.

I imagine the 111 Macclesfield fans had a head ache from all the high pitched screaming from the 2020 youngsters right next to them. But great to see.

Really good set of results for us today elsewhere.

Didn't Mansfield win?

We did win, which was a surprise to everyone.

However, Northampton were ridiculously physical and basically lost their shit several times, really odd as it’s not something I’d expect from a side like Northampton.

They orchestrated their own downfall and Mansfield were worthy winners

Rumour has it JeremyBeadlesSexClaw has just punched another hole in his mums wall because The Alex have gone top and the Valiants couldn’t muster 700 to Cheltenham?

Disappointed to draw that, if the first half decision wasn’t the second half was a stone Waller not given and Pope missed a sitter at the death.

All kicked off at the end as Alfie May studded Clark as the final whistle went so may be repercussions there. He’s made a swift exit when Popey caught up with him!

Decent performance but one we probably should of nicked on the day and with a half competent referee we probably would.

Out the top 7 by a point but two home games now.

The second half one definitely wasn't. Ince took the ball and your player dropped. The worst dive I've seen at Whaddon Road in some time.

I won't comment on the first one, I thought it was nailed on from where I was but that the lino flagged the ball was out before the foul was given. I was too far away though (like you would have been for the second half one).

Regarding the game itself, I thought we were marginally the better team in the first half, Vale by far the better team in the second. The ref was undoubtedly a homer and I'll take the 0-0 and run a mile now.

Crewe cant even comment on away support as they cant even bring a decent following to vale and we sell out most seasons within a week of the tickets being on sale. I don't know for definate but I bet crewe only took 300 odd to Cheltenham.

Not sure if you’ve seen the video but the second is as obvious as you’ll see anywhere this weekend. He doesn’t touch the ball and takes his leg, he was about to pull the trigger in a great position so absolutely no reason to go down.

The first one probably wasn’t but why on earth couldn’t the ref make that decision from a couple of metres away!

Please don't give him attention. If you ignore him, he'll go away.

440... less than we’ve taken there twice this season.

I dont know what game that Cheltenham fan was watching but it was pretty obvious to me we were the better side most of the game and the first was never a pen even though for some strange reason the ref gave it before the linesman intervened. Second oscar definate penalty seen it back on the internet defender sticks his foot out. Cullen unlucky with his header that hit the bar but should have scored the header in the 2nd half and amoo wasted a couple of good opportunities. Cant remember Cheltenham doing much put a few good balls in but nobody got on the end of them and missed a good chance near the end.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same incident - I'm talking the one where you're player has come in from the left hand side of the box and Rohan Ince makes the tackle. It was right in front of me and I thought it was an excellent tackle. I'll no doubt check the video later.

Sky youtube quest never show incidents like that. Probably just show Cullen header hitting the bar and Cheltenham missing a good chance near the end.

I've seen it and he absolutely toes the ball away from your player. Look how the ball changes direction - never a pen.

Is it true that at the Vale game today Scott Brown took 5 minutes out to cure 3 lepors whilst John Askey screamed from the touchline FAIR PLAY?

I've just watched the Sky Sports video and the incident isn't even on there.

It’s off the IFollow replay on social media but I don’t know how you add in the link here.

Stills are useless, he's already toed the ball away there.

Can’t see any toe on the ball... we will have to agree to disagree on that one but doesn’t really make a difference and I’m sure both sides will see it as a decent point with the unbeaten runs we are both currently on.
