And both very expensive. Both pubs were within walking distance of my home until I moved away in 2004. The Leather Bottle is worth visiting due to its history (18th century or earlier) and its unique garden. The Halfway House had the best pub quiz in the area.
For last season’s midweek fixture we found a cracking craft beer place in Tooting Broadway Market, tiny but welcoming.

All three of the markets at Tooting Broadway are amazing. Wonderful Chinese food on offer. The best one is just south of TK Max. Delicious and well priced.

A return to Highbury of Graham Alexander and he should get a warm reception from the Fleetwood fans. It was his first managerial appt after retiring playing and in his first season
with Fleetwood the team finished 10th, as near as damn it in league 2 - a fine effort
Tbh not expecting to much tomorrow, we are still struggling at the back with injuries and not too much fire power up front. I can see another draw 2-2

Plenty of injuries too. I've watched you quite a few times this season and been impressed with you outside of your finishing. Seem to be a bit wasteful. Hopefully more of the same tomorrow!

Some fantastic eateries in there and some craft ale houses. Amazing what they've done with that place.

Coming back to this then. Cooks not ruled anyone out for tomorrow, but didn’t say anything about the lads who have been out recent weeks with knocks either (Dunkley, Boot). I have a feeling they’ll both be back available so would go with this for my predicted XI:

Thompson
Tanton Dunkley Araujo Gordon
Naylor Oldaker
Markanday Dobra Colclough
Grigg

Boot (GK)
Fleck
Banks
Mandeville
Jacobs
Berry
Madden

Would mean no place in the squad for the likes of Metcalfe, Grimes & Jones etc which just shows the depth we have in this squad.
No Dunks or Metcalfe tomorrow I’m told. Berry playing too

I think like in a lot of game's the first goal is important. We haven't conceded at home since the first day of the season. However it's league 2 so anything is possible.
If you score first it's game over, we're terrible at coming from behind.
Nags Head in Peckham and George Canning by Denmark Hill station both do pints for under £4
Lived in Peckham for a year or so and used to go in the Nags Head a fair bit. Used to be not much over fiver for a pint and a wine when I first started going in with my missus which makes it sound like I lived there years ago but it was 2022/23.

I think we will lose narrowly 1 nil or 2 1. Gillingham are in a false position there a top 7 team only lost these games due to injuries. We are bound lose another league game at some point and it's a long trip which makes it hard work for the players, and not many away fans will attend. We have quite a few players out injured aswell so our form is bound drop off abit.

I did think it would potentially be too soon for Dunkley. With no Metcalfe either, be interesting to see who partners Oldaker in midfield as Naylor will be covering Dunks at CB. Most likely Banks, but could even be Fleck…

Croasdale is fit and starts which is a massive boost so Sang in for Garrity. Can live with that.

Otherwise gone with a fairly experienced line up.

I’m baffled by our starting XI. It looks like 433, but as LS says, we have one CB in the first XI whilst benching the other.

GK: Sam Walker

RB: Jay Benn
CB: Brad Halliday
CB: Niall Bryne
LB: Lewis Richards

CM: Jamie Walker
CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Bobby Pointon

ST: Andy Cook
ST: Calum Kavanagh
ST: Vadaine Oliver

4-0 defeat incoming.

No issues with benching Dia-saster but Huntington must be wondering why he bothered. No Evans (one game a week too much?) and the front three of Kavanagh/Cook/Oliver that battered Doncaster for 8 minutes.
Repeating again but can’t think of a comparable season injury wise since I started going mid/late nineties.

Wow. What a dive from the Fleetwood player. Penalty and 1-0. Christ.

having Langstaff and Jatta back to back has really been the sort of nice thing that usually we’re not allowed.

I can’t remember what it was like to not have a 30 goals a season striker

Dull game looking at the stats so far but Vale fans incensed with the referee.

We're the Kings of giving away cheap goals at home and giving the other team something to protect. Inviting them to time waste and low block for the rest of the game. We put ourselves in this position every week.
